A really nice place to enjoy the authentic atmosphere of old Cairo. The location is brilliant right in the middle of Moez street and overlooking a really nice mosque. The food was very good and they also offer entertainment with live music and songs and dancing. The roof top has the best view and it's where the entertainment was. It was too loud for us at some point so we moved downstairs which was also good. A great experience and I'd love to go again.

Very authentic atmosphere. For Iftar in Ramadan just what you need, same as if you want to impress your guests by old Cairo. Big market Khan-el-Khalili just outside doors. The place look tiny, but it have few floors. Rooftop is best location to enjoy fresh air and old masjed picture. There is intertament program at evening. Portions are average size, prices are fair. Staff is friendly and helpful. The biggest gratitude to Shisha guys - it was very vonderful one.

The location is gorgeous and the view from the roof is amazing. The menu provides several offers for dining in; prices are reasonable. The line manager is a star and most of the staff is friendly. Live music is ok; dancing show a bit touristy. Overall, a highly recommended place for a visit!

Best place to take a break along the atmospheric Islamic Cairo walk. The rooftop is a great place for a pitstop from all the ancient mosques. Lively music and performance to break the rhythm. Food and drinks a bit pricey. Didn't try much. Just a double espresso and a falafel. Service is OK.

Great view from rooftop, decent menu and decent pricing. Food was good, especially the mulukhaiyya. Appalling service from a waiter who showed frustration with us picking from the menu, forgot our drinks, then didn’t provide the correct change - his excuse was ‘I don’t have any change for you’. This is bizarre as most sane, normal people would inquire with other shop owners to get the change you’re due. Utterly ridiculous.

The location is great and the view as well. The food is okay, but not great. They can do much better, the shish tawook is good. Pigeons were not good, dont try.

While I wouldn't necessarily recommend dining at this establishment due to the availability of superior food options in the surrounding area, I must say that their drinks are quite impressive. The wait for our food was approximately 30 minutes, which could be considered a drawback. However, I would recommend this place for its excellent drinks and hookah experience. The people here are really friendly, and I especially appreciated that the owner personally greeted and seated us at our table. It's always a nice touch to have a personal touch from the owner.

Gem in Cairo . Must plan a visit . Perfect location, staff and services. Spent about two hours and had amazing experience of hospitality. Mr Ismael and his team is too good to ensure that each and every guest is taken care of.

Rooftop restaurant located in islamic Al-Muizz downtown in Cairo. It took a long time until we got our cheese platter, same for coffee later, waiters were not attentive. We didnt really enjoy the cheese platter, the veggie decoration locked dry and the quality was not the best but therefore we had great entertainment from traditional dancers and a nice view. the show was amazing

The view is absolutely amazing in this place. Food is tasty and reasonably priced, especially for the location. There are a lot of locals there sipping coffee/ smoking hookah. We had stewed beef with okra, stuffed pigeon, pineapple smoothie and mango milk shake. Beef is tender and flavorful, pigeon is crispy and well seasoned. Milk shake is definitely better than smoothie.

The place is right in the heart of Al Moez St, has 3 levels, reception area,1st floor(indoors) and a roof in the open air.Your background is one of the most historic buildings with Islamic Architecture. The service team are amazing, always smiling and willing to do anything just to make you happy. They serve Egyptian oriental food, and everyday there is a show starts 08:00pm including various kinds of entertainment. Its my third time and definitely won't be the last. I just celebrated my birthday at this amazing place😍

Nice vibes but the food is not the best, as most of the places in Egypt the hygiene was not so good, we found hair in the soup. We ordered most of the menu options (molokhia, mix grill, stuffed pigeon) not so impressive , the only thing you can order and safe to eat is the feteer, it was good. Other than the food, it’s a nice place to spend the night and get entertained. Update: We received an apology from the manager after they saw my review and they made a service recovery.

I definitely recommend it for everyone, i advice you to go after 6 pm to enjoy the fresh air on their rooftop area and enjoy the unique lightings of almoez street.
