I honestly wish there was a lower rating than 1 star. The emergency department is worse than you can ever imagine. It's completely slow and by slow I mean hours before a doctor even bothers to take a look at you. They draw your blood and leave you hanging for hours with no diagnosis or anything. They also refuse to write any diagnosis on the final report if you decide to leave!! The doctor finally told me my condition after waiting for 7 hours in that place and when I was leaving he refused to write any sort of report. They provide doctor's notes or sick notes as if they are paying for it out of pocket. And after the 7 hour wait period and the diagnosis that was barely explained turned out to be wrong in the end!!! I was given medicines without being told what they were, when asked I was literally yelled at. The report I got was useless piece of paper that has nothing but my name and the date in Which I entered the hospital. This shouldn't even be an apprentice clinic let alone a hospital

There are more people than rooms and staff available. Very tight hallways and low ceilings makes you feel like you have no room to breathe. It’s very overcrowded at all times. It feels like your typical public hospital, despite this supposedly being a private one. The service is a bureaucratic mess. It took forever from leaving ER to get into a normal room. And waiting another 3 hours for a doctor to appear to provide any information after. The nurses are rude and don’t seem to care. To them it’s like any another job, they could care less about the patient’s life. They do the bare minimum, and that’s after ringing for them for 30 mins to get someone to come into the room. As for doctors, there are some good ones, but unfortunately, they are always busy as many patients go to them. The younger doctors aren’t as educated or experienced, and often indecisive. I was left with one and they couldn’t provide me with any significant, new, or insightful information from when I first arrived to the ER. I was left frustrated when leaving. In other words, avoid this hospital at all costs.

I came to Egipt on vacation. Unfortunately I fell sick and had to go to hospital, my stomach is very sensitive so this happens to me quite often ( 3-4 times/year). I chose this hospital because it had the best rating. Most doctors and nurses speak english so they will understand you, that doean't mean they will take in consideration anything you say ( i kept telling them i only vomit and have no pain and they kept treating me for pain, my diareea stopped and they kept giving me pills for diareea). In the emergency room, to start with, everything went well, after 2h the doctors and nurses that greated me were replaced by others that didn't speak english and left me hanging in there. From all the doctors that have examined me throughout the 2 days I've been in the hospital ( aprox 8 doctors) only 1 took the time to listen to my medical history to get a better understanding of my case. This was the only doctor that changed my medication and made me feel better. After this they came back to the original medication and i felt again as sick as i felt when I first came to the hospital. They really tried to strech the time to make me pay more. The ingections they did, were not opened in front of me. They will probably treat you eventually but they will take as much time as possible and as much money as possible. I asked to talk to the manager but that didn't change the situation much. Somehow, as you are a foreigner, it feels like they know they have all the powere and they do whatever they please with it including mocking you for not speaking arabick. They mentioned a partial refund - I am still waiting for it.

They have nice staff who do all their best to give high quality service. There are very good doctors in different specialities.
