A hotel that is underdeveloped with its employees ,and deals with two standards and has no management and all of its employees deals with the person as the one who gives the decision in the hotel without referring to its management and depends on his right to alternate and his personal opinion without considerations of consequences, and among the advice to those who want to book in the hotel attention to the hotel's movement in fraud and not to provide A kind of support for the reservation, and telling you to refer to who agent who made the reservation for you and solve the reservation problem with him, which is not a problem in the first place, but rather it was created by the person in Hotel reception in not accepting the guest’s registration with him, knowing that the guest has paid the full value of the reservation and that the customer loses his reservation and money and begins the search trip About a reservation in another hotel, and without caring for the guest’s arrival from traveling to rest and his lack of knowledge of the city and the laws set by the employee who received himself, and led his guest to a waiting stage in the street after the hotel did not receive him due to a law established by a receptionist without reference to him and not announcing the hotel if The reference was correct for the guests on his page for reservations, which brings the placement of the guest on the street instead of his room because of this fraud on the guests while they are making a reservation with him on his internet page, so I advise all visitors of this thousand ,We advice from foreigners coming from outside Egypt to bring an official marriage document so that he can register in the hotel for the moment of arrival, or he will find himself in the street for not bringing it. Note that the hotel does not put a warning on its reservations page while making the reservation, but rather informs you of this upon arrival, and then you find yourself No shelter and lost the value of the money I paid.

Three men knocked on our door at 2:30 AM, demanding to see proof that we were married. They were aggressive and they made us feel unsafe enough to leave in the middle of the night. I don’t recommend this place.

The Guard Hotel is lovely, we were here for a one nights stay before our flight home. It’s certainly not a touristy place as we were the only westerners here, however we were made to feel extremely welcomed and the staff made a lot of effort with what English they knew. The facilities are great here, with a sports field, pools, gym and spa. The food is a little lacklustre but as we were only here for one night, it wasn’t an issue. The cost of food, etc. are local prices, which makes a nice change. Location is close to the airport but not much else is. Overall, this place is great value for money and would be fine for a few days stay.

The room is basically, wifi signal is very good and stable. There is biggest swimming pool, enough space for take rest. Very safety hotel, they gave us the tape to put and to avoid who not living in hotel to go inside. We got the price is without breakfast, so I can’t understand how is their buffet. Overall is good.

Good hotel for transit. The room is clean. Breakfast is ok. The pool is big and beautiful. Wi-Fi is slow You can see the landing plane better. No alcohol is allowed. There is a big mall nearby, within 10 minutes by Uber. 20 minutes to the airport $ 3. Convenient. I recommend it.

When booking at the Guard Hotel I had no idea that it's a hotel run by the army, I noticed quite fast in my stay there and to be honest there's nothing wrong with that as many businesses in Egypt are owned by the army, Security wise the hotel gets 100%, The staff are amazing, polite and great helpers when you might need them, The cleaning crew is respectful and very professional, The location is a bit eh, since it's on a highway and by the way the Egyptians drive, this can be a bit tricky if you'd like to walk around (didn't try it on the first two days, but after the second day I kind of got used to it and was able to cross the highway like a normal Egyptian 😂) Well done, if I ever come back to Egypt I will happily stay at the Guard again!

Ok, the hotel is horrible in service. I went down to get a mango juice. The servers were at the bar and I said all I need is a mango juice. He said it’s after 12 he is close. They say the room service is 24 hours no one picks up. The only persons that are nice are the security oh the irony. You cannot bring in outside food, no alcohol. Ok you cannot bring in outside food or drinks but the room service don’t pick up. The rooms are nice tho. I mostly eat seafood so their seafood menu are limited. So I had to eat out everyday. I think they would do really well if they had better management. I don’t have any problem with the fact that you cannot bring alcohol into the property. It’s a military hotel. I understand but I am literally here hungry. I cannot call Uber eats and the room servants are not picking up.

Great location close to the airport. Family room is great if traveling with children. Great gym on property. Bassant Wafy one of the receptionist is very nice and helpful. Her and the other ladies in the front desk are excellent. They assisted in calling us an Uber or a taxi. The wait staff and chefs at the restaurants are very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Very dirty room. It was not the hotel building itself but shale of day use. Even towels look like they was not cleaned for weeks. Absolutely dirty floor. Good that we no need it actually for anything except changing clothes but very unplesarable feeling. In any other circumstances will make a scandal but was already in such condition that just don't want to bother myself. 😕 Worst experience. Swimming pool look OK. Guards and cleaners is present. Food of acceptable quality.

I only spent an afternoon and half a night there. Very convenient that it is close to the airport, just a few minutes by taxi. I used the pool, it is very big and clean. Every few minutes the planes fly over you. I also used the room service and the food came within the specified time. Some of the staff speak little/very bad English. I can recommend it as a stopover to/from the airport, but not for a stay in Cairo itself as it is very far outside the city center.

Clean, comfortable, modern, affordable hotel close to Cairo International Airport. Planes fly over the hotel, but the rooms seem to be soundproofed, as I wasn't really bothered and got a great sleep there in their super comfortable beds. Easy to get an Uber to the airport or to downtown Cairo right at the front of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed my stay.
