Good hotel next to CityStars mall. The staff are nice and helpful. The food is good 👍 but a bit pricey. All in all it was a nice 😊 experience.

A very typical Holiday Inn, you know what to expect in every country. The rooms are really huge as are the bathrooms. Service at check in was great. The guy was super friendly, welcoming and efficient (Mina). This hotel is connected to the Mall and City Stars tower for business so it's super convenient. I'll definitely be staying here again on my work trips.

Stayed in a single room king-sized bed. Room & bathroom design is nice. Above all I liked the working area/desk facing the window with electric outlets on right hand side & shelves on left hand side. Pillows are very comfy. Tea corner including the mineral water provided came in handy: kettle was clean inside, a nice variety of bags for different drinks -tried the earl grey tea & was really great. Fridge didn't seem initially to provide adequate cooling, but when the water stayed over night, next day it was a bit cooler. Bathroom was nice. Liked the soap bar. Ironing table & iron were quite helpful. The only downside is the basin drainage was suboptimal (a bit clogged) -would have called the room service had I stayed longer. Breakfast open buffet is good. Receptionists are quite professional. Doormen behaved weird upon check-in but nothing to worry much about. Overall, the hotel seems to have a spirit and identity.

Omar was great! He helped our stay be perfect. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is worth taking. The food is really good with fresh juices and a gummy that makes falafel. I really enjoyed our stay. I will definitely come back again.

Great design and well built 20 years old hotel. Coming into age, with things in place and a good team taking care. Housekeeping is effective and nice. Like to specially mention Ms. Yasmin, ADD reception host due to her presence, professionalism and nice approach towards guests and other staff.

Hotel is at very convenient location. Neat, clean. excellent staff. Each and every staff member is polite , courteous and extremely helpful. They resolve the language barrier by talking to career drivers for instruction about the location to bringing in taxi for our heavy luggage.

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. The rooms were not clean at all when we arrived and the lamps and my iron on of the rooms we booked were not working so we have to call reception to change it, linens are very dusty and if you have an allergy you won't even likely to stay at the room for a long time. We have booked 6 rooms in this hotel as our chosen hotel accommodation for our business trip. However, we have 2 rooms for that we have requested to do a refund but they were not responding and giving a clear confirmation over the email about the said amount that we need to obtain back. they keep on saying that we need to send an email and someone will reply to our queries but it takes ages and up to know there is no one responding to our queries. Extremely disappointed and horrified by the customer service and the management of the hotel, Knowing that this is a 5-star hotel and we expect the service will be smooth and not stressful. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL.

I was received at 4:00in the morning bellboy manager. All outside welcome me to the location. Feel like a VIP the location was great. It was right in front of the Nile River. The inside of the hotel was luxury or 100%. They catered to your The food was great. The restaurant was lovely The food and the service was great. I would love to return

I stayed there for 3 nights.. its a standard holiday Inn experience, what makes it special is the staff hospitality and friendly environment, they make you feel like they know you for ever. Omar on the reception was very nice and professional, made my check in and check out experience very smooth. the staff in the breakfast were super nice, its nice to wake up to a good coffee and nice smile from everyone. the guys at the concierge were also very helpful.. thank you all for making my stay special.

Receptionist were somewhat rude. Room service was helpful , yet they would disregard posted sign “ do not disturb “ for extra tip . Shower was disgusting and unmanageable water temp . Cold to hot in blink of an eye . Do not recommend aside of its location.

Good place for a business stay, airport and convention centres near. For sightseeing maybe not ideal,even if it's certainly a more quiet environment. The rooms are clean, but a bit old, need a redo. Pool nit so perfect, as the kitchen exhausts end there. Good for a swim outside meal hours, no view.

In a nutshell, it's a 3-star hotel stay for me with the starting price of a 5-star hotel, I did stay for only 2 nights but had negative comments on many sections of the hotel. 1) Reservations: gave me incorrect price over phone. 2) Food: Variety is poor, quality not asserted at the kitchen, I found cooking foil in my potato. 3) Rooms: Low quality, nearly everything. 4) Staff: generally welcoming and nice in front of you, but seen an incident where 2 staff members are talking negatively about a customer in front of other customers. 5) Seen angry customer shouting in the lobby as from her point of view dealt with inappropriate actions from staff. On the positive side, the location is great. Personally, I will not stay back again and don't recommend that hotel for your stay if your looking for quality.

Nice rooms with a good size and very clean. Excellent breakfast. The dinning is regular, they use a lot of spicies. The hospitality at the restaurant could be better and the price of the beverages is a bit high.

It was one of the best hotels I have visited. They handled visitors exceptionally well, and their reception was very pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed my vacation and would like to extend special thanks to Mr. Adham Sabry for his efforts during my stay. He is a highly respectable and kind person.

Our room was adjacent to the central ventilators, which woke us up multiple times through the night with the sound of loud engines running. Although the staff are generally extremely friendly, like Mohammed from concierge and the breakfast hostess(can’t recall her name), having a quiet night is a priority and we just didn’t get that, thus the one star rating. Would have appreciated being moved to another room on the first time we called not at 10:30 pm. I would recommend considering other hotels for the same price just to make sure you get that quiet bedtime sleep, which is much needed in the loud bustling city of Cairo.

The room is small and housekeeping smokes in the hallway so we had to smoke-proof our room with a pillow under the door. The room and bathroom are outdated. The breakfast buffet was nice as they have many options and the juices are fresh and not from a package. It's annoying because they let the guests smoke indoor (at the lobby or at the cafe/restaurant) 🤢

Excellent location, right next to a big mall for upmarket and regular merchandise and also for very good souvenir items. And then just cross the street and you've got cheap goods 😊. Main problem was the slow service, and many of the staff speak poor English. Tourist-oriented establishments should have staff and managers who speak foreign languages well, particularly English which almost all tourists use.

My wife and I stayed for 6 nights in this hotel. Quick and convenient check in. We were quite disappointed with the room size. Even though it is for 2 people but it was small. Closet was small and can't accommodate 2 people's clothes to hang. The bathroom was also small with basic requirements. The bed was comfy and the TV with good selection of channels.

we were disappointed with the level of service and the aggressive unfriendly reception staff as during our check inn they Told us that we are turned away to and hotel apartment at the 2nd building and the reception guy , his name was peter refused any kind of discussion and he told us in a very rude way to take it or leave it Although 1 - we made our booking through the official website of IHG so how do the hotel accept booking while he is overbooking 2 - we told him that we have a medical case which can not walk also we made several complaints to IHG For this case , but there were no response Thanks Mohamed Abu Alfadl stayed from 12 - 15 Dec. 2023

1.Booking with breakfast in the invoice then the hotel informed no breakfast inside the restaurant very embarrassing experience. 2.During booking it includes airport drop off. But it showing in the reception records not yet paid. Very hassle and it takes more time to rechecking. Must be spare more time because of this hotel system.

Ate at Indira restaurant, extremely wonderful experience. Fantastic staff and service, delicious food and great atmosphere. Beware when they say Indian spicy they really mean spicy! They offered us compliment lassi and strawberries to help with the heat. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for authentic Indian food.

Rooms are clean and well prepared, even that we requested the room service at late time many times in our stay there, they were very polite and helpful, the room service team do their work from all their heart, the security and the lobby team welcome you with a such warm smile, all the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had really wonderful food at the Indira restaurant in the hotel and Cairo Stars mall. This was a lifesaver after multiple days of eating Egyptian food and difficulty finding vegetarian stuff. Service was excellent also and definitely a must visit for anyone especially any Indian visiting Cairo

The Indira restaurant food was excellent with great service from the waiter Mohamed Hashim who provided us with an amazing service with his friendly smile. They also provided some strawberries with sweet cream at the end which made our day. We ordered morgh makhni and dal makhni both were tasty, savory and delicious.

It was an excellent experience for me i did enjoy the whole stay,all stuff were amazing and helpfull ,plus the Breakfast was to delicious,the Front office team are good and so friendly ,reall wanna thank Amr the receptionist guy

Rooms need renovation and staff need to mind thier own business (feel like they are monitoring you once you walk in). They have to improve the entertainment shows at night

The hotel is cool, rooms area is sufficient and well organized. But what really distinguish this hotel is the staff and how friendly and helpful they are. As a always-traveller to Cairo, I highly recommend Holiday Inn to you if your destination is at the heart of Cairo. Edit 1 (09/06/2022): Although Holiday Inn is suitable for business trips, the elevators are very slow. You will have to wait for average of 5 mins each time you decide to move inside or outside the hotel. It’s really disappointing and getting you nervous. It ruins the comfortable experience you have there. I hope they can solve this issue soon.

Not sure how this is rated a 5 star hotel. I was there for 1 night on business. The furniture is very old, missing the little items like toothpaste, robe and TV remote. The iron and board were corroded. They even got my bill wrong and tried to charge extra. On the plus side the bed, shower and location was great. Also, strongly recommend understanding Arabic when dealing with the staff.

Stayed there for 3 nights. The room was good. The pool was small. Check in and out was smooth. Location is great. There's a nice bar and restaurant there with live local music. Breakfast was great.

I asked about the safe in the room for 3 days without any response, just calls from the reception tell me that they will solve , I make online reservation with price better from reception and they tried to told me there is no reservation and there is no any payment done, in briefly it was very bad stay
