Ain Al-Sira Lake is a natural groundwater spring located south of Cairo in the Fustat area It is adjacent to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat It is also adjacent to the most important archaeological monuments of the Fatimid state, which is (the Domes of the Seven Girls). It is also adjacent to ancient arches called the Ahmed Ibn Tulun Aqueduct or Saqaya Ibn Tulun The name of the lake will be changed To become (Lake of the Eye of Life) It exploded as a result of an earthquake in 1926, and its water has a high level of salinity. Its level rises and falls at different times of the year, causing the closure of nearby roads. The contracting company is currently expanding and deepening the spring’s flowing water basin to an area of about 2 square kilometers, and so far this spring has not been exploited for tourism. It is planned that there will be a hotel, a tourist promenade, and tourist cafeterias around the lake Two bridges are being built next to the lake The other lake, called Batn Al-Baqarah, is also being developed to become an integrated tourist area

A beautiful development for an area that was neglected. Ain Al-Sira Lake is located south of Fustat. It is a sulfur lake that became famous last century for its ability to help treat skin diseases. The Ain Al-Sira development project removed slums in the Ain Al-Hayat area, removed the Old Misr Police Department, and removed the Imam Al-Layth Youth Center, cleansed the lake of solid waste, aerated the water to return to its charming nature, and created an artificial island in the middle of the water and a number of fountains, in addition to green spaces on the sides of the lake. And the establishment of entertainment areas, restaurants, and an open theatre.

(Translated by Google) People who go to the Museum of Civilization in Fustat, don't forget to hear about Lake Ain al-Sira after its renovation; The lake is surrounded by a tourist walkway and green spaces with cafes and restaurants, and the beautiful thing is that this place was a swamp of garbage and around it nests for about two years, but now it will be one of the most important recreational and tourist areas in Cairo, God willing ❤🇪🇬 People who go to the Museum of Civilization in Fustat, don't forget to hear about Lake Ain al-Sira after its renovation; The lake is surrounded by a tourist walkway and green spaces with cafes and restaurants, and the beautiful thing is that this place was a swamp for garbage and around it there were nests for about two years, but now it will be one of the most important recreational and tourist areas in Cairo, God willing ❤ (Original)
