Me
and
my
wife
were
assaulted
on
the
3rd
of
August,
2019
by
the
security
(6
persons)
of
the
World
Food
Programme
building
in
49
Street
105,
Maadi,
Cairo,
Egypt.
We
were
in
the
public
garden
in
front
of
the
building
(which
is
not
marked
by
any
signs).
I
was
filming
my
wife
while
she
was
talking
about
her
journey
in
India
and
the
USA
with
our
back
to
the
building.
One
of
the
security
came
and
told
us
to
leave
in
a
very
rude
way.
So
I
told
him
why,
he
said
you're
in
front
of
a
UN
building.
So
I
told
him
but
this
is
a
public
street
and
I'm
at
least
300
meters
away
from
the
building
and
I
also
did
not
know
that
this
is
a
UN
building.
He
ignored
me
and
called
a
police
officer.
The
police
officer
came
shouting
and
he
said
you
need
to
erase
everything
you
filmed.
I
asked
him
why
so
him
and
the
other
5
decided
that
I'm
not
being
cooperative
and
arrogant
and
they
started
pushing
me,
my
wife,
while
trying
to
snatch
the
camera
from
my
arm.
In
a
moment,
I
was
being
held
by
two
and
a
third
security
member
hit
me
in
the
face
with
his
head.
The
police
officer
was
trying
to
get
the
camera
from
my
wife
to
break
it
while
she
was
screaming
hysterically
from
fear.
We
managed
to
get
away
and
leave
and
as
we
were
leaving
the
street
they
were
cursing
us.
I
left
because
I
feared
they
would
harm
my
wife.
