I hate to write negative reviews but this experience warrants it. Although they have some nice pieces and I purchased several items, I can't say that I'd recommend this store to others. The owners are not welcoming to all and have low quality standards. Should have listened to the bad vibes I got from my first visit when after waiting 2 hours the male owner was annoyed that I didn't like pieces he was showing me and tried to rush me. I ended up purchasing 9 pieces and 1 of the pieces I purchased came apart before I even had the chance to wear it...the bangle bracelet broke right inside the box. Tried to return it and after waiting 2 hours (2nd time) to be assisted, the female owner gave me an attitude and blamed me for the defective item. There are many other jewelry stores with better customer service and just as beautiful pieces (Michael Oro and Botros to name a few).

Very small jewelry , they can customize different things. Including a lot different copy of well known brands. The only concern is the waiting in the street! And once you enter in the shop, more waiting. People is on top of you when you are choosing or asking for things. No privacy! They should renew the place to make their costumers more comfortable.

What can I say about maison d'or other than it's like a role model of how family business should be. Monsieur Ramsis is very dedicated to his work, a real artist. He treats every piece of jewelry he has as if it's his own children. He's like a doctor that give you the piece of art you need once you tell him what's in your mind. I'm really proud we have such a jeweler in Egypt.

Although the people who are working in it are very nice however its a very busy shop ,Long queue outside , you have to write your name in a piece of paper and wait ,the average waiting time is about an hour depending on the customes (not organised at all ), they're trying to maintain covid safety precautions but they are not able to especially because they let the customers in and wait again inside the shop.
