Delicious shawerma. Also had the liver, but amazingly the Star might be the mango juice. It’s the best I’ve ever had, just perfectly ripe mango in chunks.

One of the most delicious Shawerma in el korba area, food was really good and in a good quality. Prices are average compared with others. The food takes no time to be ready. Sometimes it's very crowded, but the service is real quick. I went in early morning and it was open. Also went very late night and it was open as well. Highly recommend Shawerma restaurant

For us, the restaurant is iconic, and we've eaten there for years. We can't get enough of the Egyptian shawarma and his wonderful 😊👍😊 fresh mango 🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭 drink. It will be the first choice for people shopping 🛍️🛒🛍️ in the Roxy surrounding area.

The staff was very friendly. We tried their shawarma plate and meat ball sandwich. The food was ok but nothing special about it in spite of too many good reviews. Definitely not worth the travel from Zamalek to Heliopolis. I don't mind the dominant savory taste of lemon/vinegar, but if you don't have a sour tooth (!!), it might not be a good option for you. The pickle tastes really bad as they've made it with city water and you can only taste the unpleasant taste of Cairo city water. They didn't have the dining in option, so we had to have our food on the street.

Abou Haidar is listed as the #3 best street food location in Egypt, and it probably should have been #1. The Shawarma sandwich is soooo delicious. I also have the oriental sausage, and it was just as good. The pickled veggies and the mango fruit juice(little thick)were all delicious. It took us about 35 minutes to get our order, and it was absolutely worth the wait. We took an Uber from the Hotel $35 EGP, less than $2 USD, and we walked 15 minutes back to our hotel.

The best shawerma in Egypt! I live far, but still come as much as I can. Always get it in small round bread (kaizar), that’s the original and authentic Egyptian shawerma experience. You may have to wait for the order as it gets really busy during the day, but totally worth it! One of a kind. There’s no place to sit, it’s take away only. Or you can sit in your car, and someone will come get your order. Mango juice is also worth trying

a bit pricey but they are really the best. the best shawarma in a bun, kids especially love it. highly recommend

Very authentic and tasty as always have been however I find it very over priced especially for a takeaway food service, they could improve pricing and improve the overall waiting service .

It is not like it used to be before. The meat is not good quality. I felt I'm chewing rubber covered in vinegar. The mango is still good but they add lots of suger. Pricy as well. Save your money and time.

Shawarma 🥙 was pretty good but not mind blowing, fried brain sandwich was very dry, oriental sausage sandwich was full of spices and vegetables you can barely taste the modest amount of actual sausage, finally the pickled eggplant was not pickled at all may be brined for 20 mins or so overall wouldn't recommend

Amazing beef shawarma, classic in cairo. Served in kaiser buns, pita bread, large buns, baguette styled bread. This is a must try if it is your first visit to Cairo, Egypt. The mango juice is soo tasty too, can’t go wrong there.

Been there a lot over the years. You can get nice juicy minty spiced Beef shawerma still. Better in the morning, also less crowded Yet gets very busy by mid and up to late at night with the quality affected by the crowdedness. Hint: try ordering from your car when crowded.

The best shawerma in all of EGYPT!!! You have to have a cup of their mango juice too. Be better prepared for CHUNKS of mangoes! They come to your car to take orders. Orders arrive in a matter of minutes. I once ordered 12 sandwiches and it took them less than 10 minutes to prepare all of them. Very hard to park in front of the store.
