They were extremely professional but helpful in fulfilling our visa requirements for Egypt. They even sent their agent for us at the airport to meet and assist us, the agent arranged for our tours and transfers and even helped us in exchanging currency and getting a local sim card saving us a lot of extra hassle....so overall it was worth booking their services.

The 12-day Egypt and Jordan trip we took with Egypt Direct has just come to an end. I would like to thank Mr. Ahmed and the entire Egypt Direct team for making our trip an unforgettable experience. In our hotel, Mr. Ahmed personally met with us. Throughout our tour, they assisted us in every way possible, from airport pickup to visa processing (in Jordan), to currency exchange, and getting SIM cards. The drivers and guides were all punctual and very knowledgeable. They provided us with tips on how to avoid crowds and get the best photos. As a result of bad weather, we had to change our literary selection. They were very flexible in meeting our needs. We are very happy and satisfied. Mr. Bassam was the best tour guide ( In Cairo) and Mr. Yosuf ( In Jordan) was the best driver. We highly recommend Egypt Direct as a reliable and trustworthy company.

It was an incredible 11 days trip; without this team, it was impossible to travel to Egypt and learn its history. I was with my daughter to cover ancient history and this team met our expectations, with very knowledgeable guides and experienced drives. Mr. Ahmed did great planning professionally and had our arrangements on time. He listened to our needs and changed the plan accordingly, he was very flexible and kind. Mohamed took us on the 5-day river cruise visiting Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan, and Abu Simbel. In addition to explaining the history and the architecture, he also told us about the diverse people and the cultural differences. 👍 Bonus activities Mohamed kindly offered us that other cruise guests did not have the opportunity to enjoy: 1) He taught us the basics of Hieroglyphics + some symbols so we could identify some scripts on the ancient walls. 2) He took us to the local market to experience the authentic local lifestyle and negotiated the best price for our shopping. 3) On a small boat ride to Nubian Village, he found a beautiful corner on Nile River and let us swim in the river. We absolutely loved it. (No worries - There is no crocodile in the river downstream of the dams.) 4) On the River Cruise, we visited the Captain's bridge and honk the horn at the boats we were passing by. Thank you, Mohamed. We are still talking about you in the US. 🙏 3. Hassan is the BEST driver in Cairo. We went everywhere safe and fast in the midst of the extremely chaotic yet uneventful traffic. He sometimes stopped the van to buy local food and juice to share with us out of his kindness. 🙏 Though Hassan is not an official guide, we learned many landmarks in Cairo and Alexandria from him. Thank you, Hassan. We miss you. Transportations: Egypt Direct Tours did an excellent job arranging all the transportations including cars, domestic flights, river cruise, local boats, and horse carriage. 💯 The vehicles were always waiting upon our pickups. We simply hop on and off to start or continue our fun activities. Summary: Our trip was "perfection". 👍 Our only complaint is that we should have stayed longer. Egypt Direct Tours took very good care of us so we could focus on learning and enjoying Egypt without worrying about the research, planning, or logistics. We truly maximized the experience and the VALUE. 😀 We are going to send all our friends to Egypt Direct Tours so they have a wonderful trip like ours.

We booked three tours with this tour operator and we enjoyed them very much. All three days we were accompanied by Mohammed and Sharif. We had great fun with them but they also were able to tell us a lot about the country, history and a lot of other things we liked to know. It made all the difference in our vacation.

I had booked this 9 day package for my 50th birthday looking for a bucket list experience of a lifetime and it surpassed expectations! I was slightly nervous about traveling alone, though I was joking a small group, everything was smooth and easy. Hassan the driver picked me up just outside the airport doors as promised waiting for me. He also delivered me to the airport despite a late night flight during Eid no less. Hotel Barcelo in Cairo was fantastic, I enjoyed all the immensities from their restaurants, food too pool and the spa which was excellent. The staff were so curteous they went above and beyond to give you everything you need and more, including an unexpected birthday cake delivered to my room! The tours did not disappoint, major monuments are seen with knowledgeable and friendly guides who take care of your like family. There are extras to add on if you choose to and I highly recommend the hot air balloon at sunrise over the valley of the kings in Luxor, it was magical and worth it! Also with the extra add on was the tombs of working man/the artists, just beautiful. There are stops in each city at local artisans to buy quality things such as cottons, perfume, alabaster but there’s no pressure to buy, you learn about how they make things and if you choose to buy you know you’re getting the real deal unlike on the streets or in the markets. The guides are very knowledgeable, ours in Luxor down the Nile named Mohammad has a masters degree in Egyptology and a wealth of facts and information. He also went out of his way to accommodate needs or requests and felt like family by the end of the trip. Nasser in Cairo kept us safe and yet showed the best the city has to offer and took care to ensure we saw as much as possible and yet as we wanted. I recommend adding in the museum of civilization to see the royal mummies, also worth the addition! The river cruise was so relaxing I loved being bake to open my cabin door to the water and enjoy the scenery and sounds as you go by. The staff there were also extremely caring and level of service excellent. Aswan was my favourite, so much to see there and Nubian village was fun, loved the spice stores and brought home a bunch I can’t wait to cook with! The tour is wonderfully curated and for all you get, an amazing price. I felt very safe and even loved, Egyptian hospitality is simply the best! Thankyou for the experience of a life time, I would go back in a heartbeat.

Ahmed was very helpful and his response time was amazing even with the time zone differences and everything before the trip he very promptly responded to all my emails and text messages within few minutes. The local guide Nassir in Cairo and driver Hassan were also very friendly and went above and beyond to make our trip a success. Absolutely recommend going thru Ahmed's company.

Nasser and shrif were absolutely amazing !!!! Nasser took so many pictures for me. He was patient. I did a private tour, they stopped and helped me take pictures everywhere I went. After visiting the pyramids and sphinx, they took me to make my own perfume oil, following a spices/tea/chocolate treats tour, we went to see Egyptian art, an Egyptian jeweler whereas able to create my own necklace, and finally a museum filled with other 20 mummies. Amazing day. Included pick up and drop off and all private transfers and tickets. Thank you for showing my Egypt !

We did a half day tour to the Egyptian Museum. Nasser and Abdo were on time for pick up and Abdo had so much information to pass regarding Egyptian history. They did a great job and we learned a lot. Will use Egypt Direct tours again!

Our Egypt tour was from 11/3/2022 to 11/13/2022. We visited Saqqara Monuments, Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk, Abu Simbel Temple, Kom Ombo Temple, The Temple of Horus, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Pompey's Pillar and Catacombs. I loved all the sites we visited and amazed/impressed by the ancient Egyptians, their talents, their creativeness and their skills. Our tour guides, Mamdouh and Mohamed, were excellent. Both were very knowledgeable and eager to answer all the questions we asked. Mamdouh, in particular, enthusiastic and full of energy. He is a walking encyclopedia and never tired of telling stories. Our 11 days tour was well planned and executed. I really enjoy the tour and will do it again in the future.

My parents and nephew did a 10 day tour with Egypt Direct and were extremely pleased. Big thanks to driver Hassan, Cairo guide Naseer, Luxor guide Mahmoud Amer for taking care of them throughout the trip especially since my parents are already in their late 60s. Dad even climbed the big pyramid and Mt Sinai checking off his bucket list. When he was aching after the climb, the team went out of the way to make sure he has everything he needed. The agent I communicated with for the booking was also efficient and kept me updated on their s he dile and whereabouts - very comforting.

I can't say enough about the tour Ahmed and his staff provided us. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We were pampered throughout the tour from pickup and delivery, guides and to a constant supply of water.

I found this page and I didn’t know what to expect honestly because it was my first time dealing with a tour company. I am Very happy honestly with their services . Firstly ,They took us to the pyramids and stayed with us the whole time with the company of the great guide Mr Nasir . Second of all they arrived on time , the car is very clean and its brand new. Finally they are really kind and humble as well as they are very educated and they gave us great history speeches, and make sure 100% you will not be played in any prices or anything when you are with them. I definitely recommend them and it will not be last time dealing with them.

Great experience. My guide Nasser was very kind and help me out with everything i needed. Most important aspect for me was that he let me spend as much time as i wanted to see the monuments. No rush, good advices an a litle bit oh history telling.

We booked three tours with this tour operator and had an awesome time together with driver Sharif and guide Mohammed. They were relaxed people and new a lot to tell and what the best places were for pictures. Restaurants weren't standard, they took us to places we felt like. Thanks for everything!

I organized a 10 day tour for 16 friends to visit Egypt for the first time. We chose Egypt Direct Tour because Ahmed is very open to adjust the itinerary to accommodate our interest. I was a bit nervous before the trip. But everything worked out well. We were picked up and dropped off on time for our various flights, had very professional drivers for the whole time, and our two tour guides are very kind and knowledgeable. I had a wonderful experience on my 9 day Egyptian tour booked thru Ahmed ElKadi at Egypt Direct Tours. Ahmed met us at the airport and stopped on the way to our hotel for a welcome drink. I had cane juice. The 2 tour guides I had were exceptional. Howaida Abdullah was the BEST! She knew her Egypt history, was friendly, very personable and took time out for our well being and needs. Mohammed also was very educated on the Egyptian history and took very good care of all of the group trying to squeeze all info in on a short period of time. I am so glad Mohammed gave us the opportunity to visit the Nubian Village. The 4 night Nile cruise was awesome. The hot air balloon was a great experience! Overall I would recommend this tour company! Great tour!

Egypt Direct Tours was a great tour company that will take good care of you while in Egypt. We loved our guides Mervy and Mohamed that they selected for us. We were taken to all the top highlights, great 4 star hotels and excellent river cruise. They were willing to accommodate all of our needs and requests and made sure our group of 12 was happy. I would not recommend taking the sleeping train unless the government updates them because they are extremely dirty. This was not the tour company's fault however and they were willing to book us flight tickets back from Aswan to Cairo so we wouldn't have to take the train again. Overall we had a great experience and I would highly recommend taking a trip with this company. Thanks so much for the adventure!
