This place is simply amazing and should be on the list for anyone interested in WW2 or engineering. I like both so, for me, this is a fabulous place to visit. Firstly it’s really well laid out and managed. Really well. The paths are well marked and maintained. There are also excellent audio narrations at certain points which are certainly worth listening too. On the way to the main exhibit (a simply enormous WW2 bunker) there are lots of exhibits from artillery pieces to train carriages, bombs, Radar and even a submarine. And then there is the bunker itself which was built to be a V2 launch site but got bombed by the Allies so never actually was used. Half is in pristine condition and the other half is derelict and shows clearly the effect of the bombs. It is really really impressive. You can also go inside the pristine portion and see the scale of what was being built. This portion was meant to be an oxygen production site to be used as fuel for the V2. You should go. Just go.

What a place. and only a short hop from the Ferry at Calais. I was thoroughly amazed by this tour, not just because of the excellent and professional layout of the exhibits, and the time they clearly put into maintaining the exhibits, but also because they have gone to great lengths to ensure the 'human' story is being told. It's quite harrowing the story of the workers used during this period to construct such things as this bunker, but the team here have done a brilliant job ensuring that the story is being heard and acknowledged. The Bunker for the V2 rockets is just insane! I had no idea. I'm very interested in War history, and this blew me away. We toured all the way round the bunker and inside. For anyone interested in this period of history, the stories behind it's construction, how Britain's RAF combated the incoming rockets, and it's eventual destruction, you'll spend your 10 euros very wisely. Oh, very helpful motorcycle area outfront with a locker system to lock helmets away. So handy.

You have to visit the place to see and feel the enormous amount of work that went into the construction of the building. With all WW2 artifacts, information boards, audio and video clips you get a real feeling of the horror's of war. Hot and cold drinks available. Toilets

An incredible place, sends you shivers to realise the sheer operation and amount of destruction such rocket installation had done. Definitely a must visit place for anyone with interests in WWII

Surprising museum, you start outside with some information about the start of World War 2. There was a deportation train where you could imagine how it was during the war. After a walk in the museum garden, you come across a giant bunker! It looks abandoned (little bit urbex) but you can visit the inside of the bunker where an old car is hiding. There is a V2 diplay in the bunker (still not sure if it is a 2D or 3D rocket) and a short documentary in a language by choice. Outside the bunker is a V1 and V2 display. It's impressive to see. I would recommend this museum (and the shop too!). The people who work here are doing their best at English:)

The biggest bunker I’ve ever seen. The museum is very interesting, all information is available in multiple languages and there is a lot to see! A must see and worth a detour.

Impressive building. I've been there 5 or 6 times now, generally on the way back to Calais and it never fails to inspire awe when you turn a corner after walking through the woods and it just confronts you.Rest of the museum is good as well with lots of info. If you are on a motorbike then they also have a parking area for the bikes with lockers to put your crash helmet / backpacks in! Never seen that at a museum, so very bike friendly (but then France generally is)! You could do the site in about an hour but if you want to read the boards and take in the atmosphere then 1.5 to 2 hours would be better. Highly recommended.

A really interesting place. Not especially heavily advertised but it's definitely worth visiting. The bunker is an engineering feat in itself and it has an interesting and often chilling story to tell. V1 and V2 rocket exhibits on site too. There's an audio tour in several languages. You walk around the site but it's not too strenuous. Highly recommended

A must see. From this site many V1 and V2 bombs were launched and hit many targets in Britain. Awful history of prison workers and concentration camps but we must learn and acknowledge history even if its not palatable to us. Inside the structure was incredible. The only negative is that although it's all wheelchair accessible the gravel pathways through the site are not easy for disabled/mobility scooters.

Astounding concrete building depicting how Germany developed rocket wraponry, v1 and v2 and the British worked out how to destroy it using the 6.5t tallboy bomb dropped by Lancaster... very impressive tour and location.

A 'must do' experience. Yes it's about the V1 and V2 rockets but it is also a 'memorial' to all of the slave Labour that the Nazis used. Stepping back in time, you follow in the footsteps of the prisoners, from their deportation through to their work on the base. Thoroughly recommended.

Flipping a coin we visited here over La Coupole. The building is rather extraordinary and the exhibition talks through the construction of the site and development and production of the V2 missiles. The site is mostly outdoors so it's best visited in pleasant weather.

Price per person was €11 THIS IS A MUST VISIT IF YOU LOVE WW2 HISTORY! My visit : Visiting this Super Blockhaus was amazing! You walk up the hill to get to the blockhaus. The walk had some pretty awesome war time artifacts. You walk around the whole bunker before you go inside. The inside of the super blockhaus has a couple rooms… the rooms though were insanely massive and spacious. In the rooms it has some Information on the walls and TV screens that also display information. Outside/surrounding area : has a dozen of artilery guns and anti tank guns. There are also some trucks and some cool WW2 naval items and a mini submarine. There is also a train wagon to sadly simulate how the train ride was to the concentration camps. There are both V2 and V1 replicas outside. Blockhaus Facts : - Its main purpose was to store fire V2 ballistic missiles towards England. - The bunker could have stored 100 V2s inside (if it was fully completed). - was only %50 completed due to being heavily bombed in 1943-44, damage can be seen on and around the bunker. - A “Disney” bunker busting bomb was found lodged in the roof of the bunker. - A tallboy bomb blew up outside the bunker which created an artificial pond.

This has to be seen in person to be appreciated. An important story of a certain totalitarian WW2 government (which Google evidently won't let me namef) and its forced labour policies and how close WW2 came to being even worse. And Google, I understand not glorifying groups like that, but naming them in this context is is just the historical record.

During my D-Day tour I visited the blockhause bunker. And I have just one word to describe this bunker: HUGE. From the parking you only can see trees. The entrances is a bit weird. It is a small store with some items you can buy. Then you will walk in the forest an you can see some trucks and artillery pieces. But then you walk around a corner and you will see one of the biggest bunker of ww2 that you will ever see. The bunker itself is just so interesting that it is hard to explain. You can see the battle damage of the air raids that suppose to destroy the bunker. Inside you can not visit all the part of the bunker this is a downside. Look good at the movies that are in the bunker. Only this way you will know how this bunker should have worked when it was finished. The parking is free and the tickets were easonably priced. Go to see this concrete giant.

Some places are just historic. This old World War 2 concrete bunker is an interesting relic to the past. It was used to house V2 rockets but was never fully operational. There are a few exhibits like mortars and old cars to see too. There is not loads to do and €35 for a family ticket was a bit expensive for what’s there. We stayed about 40 minutes. There is good parking and parking for Motorhomes.

The bunker is very impressive, even though I was expecting a big bunker. We had to take a trip with the guide (something we didn't want) who wasn't able to explain some things in English, let alone Dutch, too bad! We were lucky to see a change to sneak away from the group to take our own tour. We enjoyed our visit very much.
