Visited this place after going through the review. Of the restaurants visited so far, this one stands out as the interiors was quite different from rest of all. The owner seem to like the witches a lot as you could see many different types across the place and a big one on the way to washroom. Very old and nice look inside. Food is simple and fresh, very limited vegetarian options so we were disappointed with what we ate. Not sure about other food options (non veg). Many varieties of beer and local appetizers available with reasonable price. Child menu for kids also available.

Visited here last October. Loved the atmosphere. When the owner learned we were Canadians he poured us some apple vodka on the house. Great food.

I visited twice while staying in Dunkirk. Really good meals on both occasions. The cheese tart starter was lovely, and the carbonnade flemish delicious!. Quirky place, great food, well worth a visit.

Perfect cook, the dishes are really made in the traditional way. Plus, the waiter was super friendly with some jokes to tell which added a good ambient to the dinner. I really recommend this place !

Fabulous little restaurant, authentic, slow cooked food, quirky decir(don’t forget to go upstairs). Really recommend this, wanted to keep it to ourselves but it deserves to be shared

Great atmosphere, delightful interior, wonderful local dishes, strong beer selection, very reasonable prices and late opening; perfection!

If you want to taste food typical from the north this is the place to visit in Dunkerque. The service was really nice, people warm and welcoming and the whole place has its own style and look that must be experienced. The food was really good and in generous portions and they had a nice selection of beers (that's what you want to drink there).

Cool and quirky bar. The owner seems to have a bit of a thing about witches! Good food and beer, and late opening. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Gaudy, shabby, unapologetic . Magnificent . French barely tolerating the English . In the best possible way .

😠 Most dreadful meal I have ever eaten freezing cold and tasteless. Was going to have an after meal coffee so poor the meal left my drink and did not order a coffee. Complained to a member of staff .complaint not passed on to a higher level off staff. Will be sending an email to the company. Very very...

👍👍 Au Bureau is a lovely bar and restaurant in Dunkirk and well worth a visit if you're in the area - we were well looked after by the staff, who were very helpful - the food was absolutely amazing and good value - I enjoyed cheddar cheese sticks and a burger for my main with a Diam bar pudding, which...

👍👍 I have enjoyed it a lot. Seems to be the only coffee shop opened at 09:00 from the beach area. Either this, or is is the most visited one. We went for "le petit dejeuner" which is Cofee and a croissant for just 3.80 euros. From what I have seen during the day, at lunch and in the evening it is full...

👍 Pretty good place to eat, quality-price match, the food was mostly yummy and the waitress and waiter were polite and welcoming. They have an English menu for people who don't speak French. Also a decent place for a drink by the beach, it was too windy for us so we had food inside.
