After a visit to the piece of hall, we went to get a food and drinks to the percy shaw. It's a nice, well decorated place. We ordered. In few minutes we have our drinks then later the food. The service was impressed and fast. The food was tasty and amazing.

First stop for a day out in Halifax with friends. Very handy for the Premier Inn and also the bus station. This is a very modern Spoons with some outside seating. We arrived at 12.30 and it was already busy. Not the greatest of real ale selection but my Moorehouse's White Witch was on form.

Lovely views from window seat across Halifax. Got a mixed grill. Food was superb I returned it because it was a bit rare, no fuss just exchanged it, it was delicious. Lovely atmosphere and very clean. They were a bit short staffed but not a huge problem. I really liked this spoons been to a few. This one was fab.

Came for lunch today and whilst I appreciate this is a cheap establishment to eat and drink in, it was possibly one of the worst Wetherspoon Ive been in. -Slow service -food order was wrong. I asked for chips not rice, the girl went to change it and then went behind the bar to serve. When I enquired after half hour as to how long it would be she looked like she'd never seen me before. Whilst I understand they are busy places, it might be wise for one of the managers on duty to come out of the kitchen and help with food service -the pub itself is untidy and I'm yet to witness a table being wiped. Thankfully the beer is cheap so I can forget the service and food. What a shame 😔

Nice looking spoon 's. Free WiFi. 1.49 a pi 't. Some outdoor seating. Great view of the wooded hills.

Got a lovely mixed grill. Fast service even though the app wasn't working, didn't queue long. Food was quick, hot and all the meat cooked well. Only knocked a star off because every sauce bottle was nearly empty and only 1 vinegar seemed to be available. Nice clean pub. Clean toilets too

Place looks really nice and cozy, but egg Benedict discusting, muffin cold and old... egg fully boild,Do not recommend

Warm and comfortable on a cold wet day. Staff were efficient, the food was prompt and exactly what we ordered.

The best thing about this one is the view. Service wasn't as good as it should be with limited unhappy staff. Some very good ales (see photos)

Fantastic little pub! Lovely staff, great food and fast service to say how busy it was. Was about 20 of us, the staff were very polite, food beautiful and the vibe was okay, could’ve done with someone music. The duty manager sorted out every issues and she was fantastic and efficient. Will definitely come back

This was a great restaurant to visit, with a well-presented counter! The layout is flashy, staff were friendly and the service was fine. I had a Chicken burgers with chips followed by Raspberry Vodka and a Coors, although the portion was a bit small.

it was so bad i want to give it a zero, but not possible. so i give a 1.the customer service was shocking. staff are rude and ignorant. i was ignored multiple times by staff. i was having meal today on the 19th december, i had order a english breakfast. i had been supplied with a small amount of beans, i had asked the waitress if i could have more beans. she then went to ask her supervisor the one with the dog collar and xmas hat and he said no you have to pay and you only get a small dish which is the conversation that i overheard. SINCE WHEN HAVE YOU HAD TO PAY FOR EXTRA BEANS WHEN U HAVNT BEEN GIVEN ENOUGH. WHY WOULD I EAT A DRY MEAL. not once have i ever had to pay for more beans. to add to this horrible experience the bar man tutted at me after i asked for no ice in my drink, he then didn’t listen to me made me a drink with ice. i repeated myslef and he gutted in my face… HOW RUDE

Overall a great Wetherspoons in a good central location. Usual good range of drinks at great prices, and basic meals. A bit short staffed when we visited between Xmas and New Year but staff very friendly so happy to wait.

It a nice wetherspoons but the staff are quite slow, they do the job but with minimum efftort and certainly don't go the extra mile, staff couldn't be bothered to say hello or thank you when taking my order, just took the order and walked off. It would be nice if they were a bit more polite and engaged with customers, instead of just chatting with each other behind the bar... Food was ok considering the price. I'll come back again but only for the price...not the staff -_-

Nice place , quick service. Partners burger was dry as had no mayo but was ok however not something she would order again Shame it’s closing down.

Food was stone cold stuff didn't seem bothered about doin or showing good customer service won't be going back when I asked if my food could be atleast heated up was told no we don't do that so have it as it is or don't like I said wouldn't recommend nor will I ever go back there again

There was a sticker in my tuna mayo. Didn't stop me eating the rest of my meal, like. It's a spoons after all.

Really enjoyed my experience here. It was really cosy inside and a nice atmosphere. Quite a small chain, but considering there is another Spoons chain up the road, so I don't think this is an issue and it wouldn't really deter me for future visits. Easy to order and staff are really on it in terms of ensuring you're OK and that you are satisfied with your order. Free tea, coffee & hot chocolate refills for an extremely reasonable price, which is an absolute blessing in the current circumstances - I think more restaurants and cafes should be taking this initiative. Food was of a good quality, price and was really tasty. The only thing I would suggest is more options for dietary requirements - I'm gluten free and would love to be able to order fish and chips or something else, such as sausages - I find this in many places and it can be quite a frustration. As a person with reduced mobility, I found it to be very accessible in terms of no stairs as there was lift access in the car park.

Nice staff and quick service, plus they came over several times to see that we were alright as my wife is slightly disabled.. Much appreciated. Will call in again next time we are in the area. Thank you!

we have visited in october 2022 BEST DEAL : ALL DAY REFILL coffe and hot chocolates @ 1.95 GBP Sumptous breakfast with healthy and vegan options. Lunch you have curry meals, Fish and chips. Dinner options includes Pizza,pasta, lemon-herb chicken . Drinks , ale are available all day. Hygenic , clean atmosphere. Nice ambience. well behaved staff. Food will be served within 10 minutes. First you have to make the bill after deciding your Table number.

Service, food and prices good. Plenty of room. Staff extremely pleasant. If you're a Wetherspoons regular, you'll like this place.

Always busy and in a handy location for the bus station, also a cinema etc on the same complex/site so handy for that too . I have had mediocre food here and overcooked chicken I couldn't eat, but I've had decent fish n chips here and you can't beat the 'spoons on drinks prices! Great selection too. Named after the guy who invented our 'cats eyes' who was, of course, from Halifax!

During our visits of five evenings in a row this pub ran out of several dishes on the menu including some Currys at 7.30pm on Curry night! Can't blame Covid any more. Staff were hard working and always pleasant. The place always gets noisy due to the large areas of hard surfaces and the large volume of people it can hold. Good views of the street and hills beyond but this is not a place for a quiet meal and a drink.

Absolutely appalling food, £4.90 for a portion of nachos that had never seen cheese, no guacamole and literally looked liked someone had thrown the salsa and sour cream from a great height on to the 12 crisps on the bowl. Manager said this is how it comes . Would not recommend ordering these at all. Very disappointed for a wetherspoons.
