I love this park. it's close to me and cozy! Plenty of parking. There's a pond that fill regularly with rainbow trout. For a couple of buck, you can fish here and you don't need a province fishing license. a lot of wide open areas with tons of picnic tables. My friends and I really enjoyed it here. Will definitely come back again!

Family friendly park with a lot of pros than cons Pros 1. People help each other and normally treats each other with respect and some people are generous to share some fish or worm 2. The scenery is one of a kind 3. Beginner to intermediate fishing spot Cons 1. they don't normally add fishes on their pond. 2. You need to pay for fishing and there's no guarantee you'll catch one 3. Overcrowded for fishing spot

Recently discovered this gem of a park. There's an area for fishing and picnics ( which are currently closed due to Covid). There are a few different trails which are all breathtakingly beautiful. Very serene vibes and very well maintained. The times I visited there wasn't a lot of people. Worth the trip if you enjoy easy-med trails. They do charge for parking, but you can walk in for free.

Nice spot. Lots of parking. Lots of room to space out when fishing. But the water is very dirty, green with algae and thick as soup. Most people aren’t catching any trout. And you have to pay for access and extra for fishing.

Lovely picnic and volley ball area, nature trails are beautiful as well but more of a hike than a walk. Lots of frogs hoping around and saw some fuzzy bumble bees too. Was a nice way to spend a sunny afternoon.

Place was great for fall colors, parking space was decent and there is an entrance fees to the park.

It is a wonderful place to visit during the fall season, it was our intention too to see the beautiful multi-hued leaves on the array of trees making anyone think of a painting by a Professional. As the hue is changing day by day until all the leaves have fallen, making another visit or two to the same location within a week or so will undoubtedly make anyone stunned. There is a large lake where fishing could be done at leisure.

Love open areas. It provides several different trail options. There's a small creek and lake not too far from the entrance.

The days of great/good/something fishing are over.. I fly fish, and also use any of my 30+ rods and setups, and I have gotten 0 hits on anything I cast day after day..multiple times...last year my dad and I visited almost 80 times. We used to get at least 3 each on one of our methods last year.. this year... 25 fish put in/50 on weekends we are told. No fish caught for 8 hrs at all..sometimes 1-3 in those 8 hrs total from everyone(30+ people on the top pond for example). Kids are upset they can't get even a bite, which is why most parents bring their kids there. I know most of the veterans there, and the ponds are not the way they used to be...this year the grass is about 3 ft tall around them, and fly fishing is sometimes a nightmare (and the fly fishing ponds are closed..again..)... Even the best fishermen get skunked there..as a team.. Not a place to get HOOKED ON FISHING!

Awesome place for a hike. First time I got there was this fall. The forest was carpeted with leaves!

Nice system of trails. There's a small finishing pond full of people. Didn't see a soul on the trails. Part of the trail is on the Bruce trail. Wish there were more markers at the intersections. Made the wrong turn and looped back to the pond. Probably won't happen to an experienced hiker haha.

It's a nice place if you come with friends. Fishing here..in my opinion, it's not all that..the pond is full of algae, but if want to kill time..sure. good hiking and place to bbq

Great place to hike. Easy to get lost even with all signs . Wear hiking shoes as it gets slippery. Too many mosquitoes so take OFF. Not recommend to take pets due to Ticks in area.

We had a taste of their Nature Trail on the day. Due to rain, we stayed for less than 2 hours. Very nice, and quite forestry. Scenic, will go back again.

Great place to hike around if you are looking for shorter, medium, or a long hike. Although the shorter one is very simple with few elevations but a great place to be if you love nature. It's surrounded with greens. For fishing, there is a separate area, and it might be full during summers so advisable to come a little early. Also, few spots can be reserved for a larger group, which also has benches and tables. Overall a great place to be.

Nice well maintained park. Though they say their fishing ponds are great, in reality it is not. I spent almost 3 hours with my little son in both 2 ponds along with 14-15 fisherman including kids. I saw only one boy got a small fish. It was really disappointing. So if fishing is reason you want to visit this park, think twice as it is not a good place and of course you need to pay per person for park admission and also for fishing.

4 stars from me..A nice place for a bbq and great trout fishing. No fishing license is needed. Only negative thing about the place is there to much surface weeds on the ponds because theres not enough water circulation.i would of gave 5 stars but they close way to early on weekdays. 4 PM. So they get 4 stars..but over all not a bad place to spend day and do some fishing and have a bbq with the family and kids.

This is an amazing park with areas to barbecue and play games, but also kilometers of trails through beautiful hardwood forests. Nice bridges and fishing ponds.
