The amount of traffic and people in the store is getting ridiculous year-by-year management services, not able to keep up and from the second you’re in the store to the second you walk out of the store be prepared to show your IDs and membership almost every single corner of the store! (Not over exaggerating) From the second you walk in to a random member walking past you, When you’re trying to stand in the checkout lane, before they start scanning your items and then, once again when you pay for your item. And of course your reception before you leave the store. The amount of interaction you have to do with employees just to prove you paid a membership fee to be here increasing every single time. Making the overall buying experience go down.

If I could put zero stars I would. My partner and I went through the self checkout and one of their workers stood in front of us the entire time check out. Then once we paid, had the audacity to stop me to look over My receipt to slowly match each item purchased to make sure it matched. No one else got that same treatment. Not only DID I NOT STEAL but she didn’t apologize and left me feeling extremely anxious and embarrassed in front of the other customers and my own children. I am absolutely disgusting. And to top it off it was not the first time this had happened.

Worst experience I had today at refund department for Costco , I’m super disappointed how people do open racism with people , I feel like some employees just misuse their position and do actions which are so not up to the mark , being loyal member of Costco from long time I felt they are spoiling the brand name for Costco. They may don’t care about us as a customer but I guess Costco do. #stop racism #stop bullies

I don't know how I feel about this location. The customer service for the most part is the most poor of the Costco locations, often not even a hello or goodbye from the cashier, or being the only person in line at customer service while 6 human beings ignore your existence and then acknowledge a customer who came in five minutes after you. The store itself is my favorite. Ample parking, less crowds and honestly one of the cleanest and best-supplied stores in western Canada. Especially after 5pm on weekdays, it's almost a peaceful experience. So if you can look beyond the lack of customer attention this is definitely the ideal Costco to visit. Most people will probably be somewhat offput by some of the majority of staff here though.

Imagine you go get a "cheap" Kirkland Gin bottle and find out it is more expensive than the Bombay Sapphire... thank you very much.

Very good selection of products and big parking lot .Very busy at weekends but the weekday are good to go there for shopping

Update 2: East Hills is quieter than the other Costcos, especially compared to Beacon Hill. I also found the gas station quieter too! Update: I haven't been here lately and found why this Costco is so special. There are more hot items here, which I suspect is due to their distance from the city centre. I was surprised by the amount of stock found here. Mental note: shop here more often! This Costco is far enough from the inner city that it isn't as busy as others. There's plenty of stock of most items. Staff are friendly and efficient. The place was very clean, as expected for Costco. Gas here is slightly slower as they have 2 pumps per station versus 3. However, the line moves fast enough. This Costco is worth checking out if you're looking for a sought-after item.

The East hills Tire centre is super amazing, I think suppose to waiting for one and half hour, but just only waiting for 45 mins to one hour. Also last time I changed my tire from other Costco, they didn’t wash my wheel, but this time I was surprised that they wash my dirty wheels, it seems like the new wheels. I really like their customer service, it was really friendly and kindly.

Horrrible experience with help outside. We had 20 big bottles of oil the guy that tried to help us,kept breaking the boxes didn’t even want to help and was very rude. He was a taller gentleman with blonde hair. HORRIBLE service! I wouldn’t give any stars if I had a choice! And we were waiting for a hour for horrible service! Come on Costco you can do better!!!!!

Lots of selection, most prices are great. And alot of the staff can be helpful. Some, not all at the self check out are able to help I don't understand why they have someone there checking membership again when you need it to come in and you need to scan it start the checkout till. It just makes the process redundant and longer, they should be there to help.

Parking lot in costco is the best. Either is busy or not in your location, you’re sure to get plenty of space for your vehicle and not worry about people denting your car. I love the food samples. It’s a good advertisement technique.

Absolutely delighted to hear that you've found the best Costco in town! While it can get quite busy at times, it still outshines other Costco locations in Calgary. The friendly staff and the abundance of good samples contribute to a fantastic shopping experience. Not much to say. It's Costco, everyone knows what to expect with every single location. Bulk buy giant store.

This Costco isn't as busy as most, easier to find parking and close to another strip mall and Walmart. Location is decent but overall experience with the customer service kind of ruins it all. I don't like to return items here cause the reps don't know their own return policies products. I get frustrated and goto any other Costco with no issues.

Warehouse was very clean and fully stocked. Staff was very busy but were very helpful at the same time. Take some bags or boxes with you as it doesn't appear that boxes are available anymore for your items to be packed in to put in the trunk for the trip home.

Decent lay out. Ample parking. Ok design of the gas bar. Pharmacy staff quick and always helpful. Fast-moving self check out and a slightly better design on the food kiosk so you can still maneuver around other shoppers. Bathrooms are also decently attended to.

This is my favourite location for shopping at Costco. Huge parking lot and the store is of course bigger than other places I have been to. Whenever you go you will always get ample parking space.

I would like to thank Dakota for the excellent service at Easthills location today. I went up to the service desk and asked one of the associates if they had any of the SS BBQ sheets in the store , she kept talking to another associate while trying to look it up. Then told me there were none in Calgary. She handed me the sales flyer and the magazine and told me it should be in there. I was trying to tell her that I had seen it in an email. ( I forgot my phone at home on the charger.) Meanwhile DAKOTA was listening and helped me instead. She took me to where they were and lo and behold there’s a pallet full. Kudos to Dakota for actually knowing what customer service is.

I love Costco, they have everything you need in MASS QUANTITIES. Even though we went on Saturday lines to pay were reasonable. PS... Christmas decorations were a huge hit with the family

Cashier was rude and seemed prejudice because I was disabled. I live with my daughter and was trying to pay for the groceries when the cashier said if I didn't have my own Costco card I couldn't use my credit card to pay. This has never been a problem before, but this cashier was bright and cheerful with customers in front of me, however she was extremely curt, rude and racist/prejudice toward me. I am not sure if it was me being of native decent or being disabled, but her entire attitude with me was different than with other customers. A manager came over and proceeded to tell me I would be unable to purchase anything in her store unless I paid for a membership myself. I told her we lived in the same house and she said it didn't matter. My daughter did get me my own card, (we never did prior because we always go together) as they provide one for an additional member of the household over 18, and I will never shop at this location again after the way I was treated. I am very disappointed in this location and would like to suggest customer service training for their employees and managers.

Like most Costco warehouses, this place is always ridiculously busy. The staff are always very pleasant, but the lack of proper communication for lineups at the registers is very frustrating. Given how busy and crowded it can be, it's very understandable that there's immense difficulty regarding managing customer lineups. But there definitely needs to be more than one poor staff member trying to direct more than one hundred people to cashier lanes.

Nice Costco with a Liquor Store, Gas Station, Tire Centre and warehouse. The staff were friendly and helpful especially Adam, in the electronics section. Lots of parking and clean, very happy with my visit. Went back for fuel 10mins prior to closing. (love that the gas station stays open an hour after Costco closes) The staff was awesome and even helped me fuel up. Great customer service, will return.

Big and large Costco wholesale might have it all and possibly in bulk. Huge warehouse with even bigger inventory form Electronics, clothes, food, cleaning supplies, tires and way more. Great for every time of year with every changing stock.
