Can’t speak for the selection of beer, but the food was decent. The service was friendly and quick.

The pub was excellent what you would expect from a pub. Good was not amazing and not bad. Service was a bit slow but not bad. Would I go back for a drink and pub food. Sure, is it the best pub in town? No. Is it the worst net even close. It’s a good large pub that gets the job done. You will not be blown away but you will not be upset.

It's a 5 star pub on MacLeod trail (it's MacLeod Trail aka HWY 2A, so it's a chain~ it's not a UK country pub). The service was excellent and the food was too. I've been going to this pub for about 20 years on and off. We just ate there today and all I can say is wow! I had the poke bowl and I was incredibly impressed. I used to come here for the boar burger a very long time ago, but this poke bowl was definitely a refreshing update!

Three stars just for the server and the service! Really disappointed by the fish and chips - for the price I didn’t expect burnt halibut and oversalted fries!!! Picked up fish&chippies for mom and she couldn’t eat it due to too much salt and charred halibut!!! SMH.

Limericks hostess this evening for my father’s 90th birthday party. They were very professional and our waitress. Kathleen was terrific. I highly recommend limericks for any function Thank you so much.

Nice neighborhood pub I go to. Patio is perfect to sit out during summer months and if you are a sports fan, sitting inside with the televisions is bliss. I had chicken wings with Cajun- really nice , and cod fish and fries- tasted just okay.

Can be loud when a soccer game is going on. The food was great. Atmosphere was great. We needed a bit of quiet and sat in a lounge area.

Went for a friends birthday this evening. We sat on the patio upstairs and the restaurant was fairly dead. Our server was nice but didn’t check on our table/if people needed drinks regularly, drinks were sub par and my burger was extremely pink inside. I didn’t notice until a piece of it fell apart and I saw how pink it was. Quality is definitely not worth the pricing. Unsure if I’ll go back.

Our Harry Potter engagement party was a successful hit at Limericks. Thank you so much to all the staff that hosted our engagement party. Our servers Kristina and Ali gave excellent outstanding service to our guests and felt like they were part of our guests, while keeping professional. Thank you to Clayton for your amazing mixologist skills and entertainment, finding out all those drinks and shots in spectacular time and style. Thank you to Trevor the Executive Chef and his kitchen team for the amazing quality of food that we ordered and accommodating our requests. The amount of food was perfect for our number of people and presented nicely. Lastly thank you to Mary and Natin for coordinating our amazing special night for my fiancee and I. Their communication and hospitality was above par and above and beyond any event I have been too. This location offered more than enough space for our guests with the flexibility of having people come and go. I was unexpectedly surprised to see that our space had the use of the patio and we were able to setup our decorations and photo booth comfortably.

I ordered the prosciutto wrapped halibut with butternut squash and risotto. When asked how its tasting I said it was very salty and suggested to use less prosciutto and/or pare with a less salty side than the risotto. I tried to finish but could not and when they came and asked how our meal was, I repeated what I said. The manager came out and I said the same and said that I had some stomach cramp. She said they would take my suggestion under advisement and that people have different tastes and it may not taste salty to others and comped my $4 tea. I have an educated palate. When you mix a large amount of prosciutto and the parmesan in the risotto it's going to be salty.

Some of the best pub food I’ve had in Calgary! Id consider it a hidden gem because I’ve never heard of the place before stumbling across it last night. The half order of nachos is a full order anywhere else, the dry ribs were also freakishly large and tasty and the butter chicken was better than most I’ve had at Indian restaurants in the city. The server was super attentive and friendly. Great experience, we will definitely be back!

Pros: Great place to watch sports, lots of TV's and a good atmosphere. They also have a nice selection of local craft and imported beer. Cons: Nothing inspiring or nutritious on the food menu if you are a vegetarian. It's a veg pizza or plain nachos and that's it (although the waitress did suggest that I can order anything from the menu and just ask to have the meat removed but 'fish & chips', 'cottage pie', 'St. Louis ribs' or 'butter chicken' without the meat is just basically a plate of fries... no thanks).

Checked out this place with a friend about a month ago and had never been here before. We are welcomed right away and allowed to pick our own seating. Our waitress approached our table and was super friendly, got our drinks to us right away. The food options were wonderful and well proportioned. I could have had two meals out of the pasta dish I got. The atmosphere was nice even though it wasn’t very busy. Had some good tunes playing, was really well decorated, comfortable seating, everything was clean and well organized. Our waitress was really on the ball with our meal and checking in on us throughout our visit. Would definitely recommend this place and it’s close by to Chinook for anyone looking for good food after some shopping, Cheers!

The staff were great, friendly. Our order of wings,ribs(so delicious) caesar salad and mashed potatoes with gravy- everything was great they made our drinks to our liking. Highly recommend this pub. I will come back again. The food is excellent!

Best chain for wings on a Monday. Forget wing wednesday. The Gas Lamp house beers are super cheap and can come in schooners. The wings are a good size and come at an actual deal price, unlike so many wing Wednesdays. Too many tvs and sports for me though.

Came here for lunch with a group of coworkers. We were one of the few occupied tables, and the server seemed irritated by our presence during every interaction. I ordered the steak and arugula salad, which was mediocre. The steak was a challenge to cut at times, even with the provided steak knife. Overall, it was a lackluster experience.

Mary & her team have hosted us on numerous occasions for large events and smaller gatherings! They always pull things off incredibly smoothly and ensure our events are a success! Great food, great service and fantastic people! Thank you very much!

The beer is great! Especially the dark beers. Our waitress Cherise was fantastic, friendly and very helpful with out orders. The Nashville Nuggets were great! Hot but fantastic! Overall, my experience at Limerick's was fantastic. Thank you Limerick's and Cherise especially!

Used Skip to order some wings and the sticky toffee pudding, unfortunately the latter doesn't come with toppings when ordered through Skip. Unfortunately the dessert was dry and unappealing without said toppings but when we asked for the brownie instead, they obliged AND gave us toppings to go with it. Super impressed and really appreciative!

UFC night and Flames game. Food was tasty. Table had nachos with flavourful Cajun chicken. Fish and chips. Tex Mex bowl. Steak bites and onion soup. Big burger. They were able to make my special request as tooth extraction today and accommodated what I could eat. Service was excellent. Keep our glasses full all evening. Friendly servers. Clean including washrooms. Covid protocols in place.

I have always loved Limericks. This time proved again why it's been a Calgary staple for so long. The food was wonderful. (I had the Cottage Pie, my friends had the Char Burger and the Butter Chicken.) They had a red ale on tap that my friends had and they said was really good. I had a Ceaser. Our server was the perfect blend of attentive without being over bearing. I would definitely recommend anyone who likes pubs to eat here.

Be sure to have a lot of time and patience when coming here. The servers do not check on you often enough and aren't even around to flag down if you want another drink of more food. The ambience of the place is great and the mini steak bites were quite juicy and delicious though. So the only barrier to this place really excelling in reviews is more attention to training and selecting staff.

Throughout the restrictions this place has done what they've had to in order to stay open and even thrive. The menu is proper pub food prepared in a well run kitchen and never disappoints. The staff do a great job of keeping everyone happy despite having 45 beer on tap and so many stairs to climb, every shift. Even though it's been around for many years and the city has grown all around, it's still easy to get to from all corners of the city.

I was there last Saturday with a few colleagues from work. Christina T. was extremely helpful, professional, and fun. She made sure we had everything we needed, and helped make our night great. Service was great, food was great, 10/10 would go back.

Is this the best pub in Calgary? Probably not, but the food is good and interesting enough to keep me coming back, the beer selection is diverse enough to mean you don't have to drink the same thing every time (though defaulting to the gas lamp mandarin sour is perfectly acceptable) and the staff are the right level of attentive but unobtrusive. Only real complain is the parking is a bit of a mess and the stairs are a bit steep for some people.

Been sometime since we've been able to do the date night thing since kids. Used to head to Limericks constantly back then. Happy to report they still have an incredible setup, friendly staff and accommodating. Great food, Good times.

Food was decent, service was excellent. We went for the 49 cent wings, decent value, I thought some of the wing flavors were a little bit under-seasoned, but over all decent.

We were seeking out a sunny patio 🌤️😎 later in the evening and wanted to grab a margarita🍸for Cinco de Mayo🇲🇽 we also decided to try the Fish 🐠 Tacos and the Tex Mex Bowl both were very delicious😋

Great Irish Pub.. every night there are very good drink and food specials... had the homemade pizza on Wed night... Delicious!!... and Half Price!... Atmosphere is worthwhile and staff are incredibly friendly!... am planning to go back soon!

Their clubhouse is the best in the city. Also their fries are cooked to perfection. Crispy outside and soft inside with perfect seasoning. Excellent food!

Had an enjoyable time at limericks. The food was amazing as I have been a few times and had the pleasure of selecting different meals. The drinks selection as well isn’t too shabby as well as you can dive into and find many favourites to eat with your meal or without. Another great location to take family or friends and enjoy the amazing service.
