Such a wonderful place to walk and play with babies or kids. It has trailers not only for walking or biking but also walking your dog. Many black birds and ground squirrels live there. The park has wonderful views to the river and beyond

Before you come here on a weekend, know that parking gets full really quickly. If you're not here before noon hour you are outta luck. The park is nice but lacks benches. During our visit we had to experience strong odour from cannabis that some were smoking close to the playground and picnic area. A large group of people also playing loud music spoiled the peaceful atmosphere and took away the relaxation of folks trying to enjoy a quiet afternoon. City bylaw...do your job. On the positive side, there are lots of trees to provide nice shade, and the serene trails lead to the Harvie pond / floating stream that is an adventure in itself.

One of my favorites parks. Lots of parking available. First half has tons of benches and tables to chill at. I enjoy going through the wetlands. They have. Few paths through out the foresty area. The dirt paths are quiet and great to walk the dogs. The paths are flat and would be fine with a stroller. They have a few maps around showing you the different routes/paths you can take. Some picnic tables hiding off the paths are great spots to relax. There is also several chairs and benches. Washroom located at the north end. Or several port o potties along the harvie passage path way. Walk east along any path to get to harvie passage

A wonderful place to chill with the family. Large open areas for large family picnics, church events, or small venues. Within a stones throw of the pathway that leads to the river, (follow the signs) that say "Harvie passage" You'll be taken to a divided part of the bow river, where people can learn to kayak or water board, (without fear of being dragged down river).. There is shallow areas for younger children, though parents are strongly recommended to be close, as the rivers current is swift in certain areas. Lots of places to hide in the shade and relax, have a picnic with family.

We hadn’t walked through this park in years. We were so pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it is. The pathway around the river has amazing views. Lots of picnic tables in the park and very spacious. Great spot!

This is a really cool park. There is a train that comes through... plenty of trees. River, water fall, larches , ponds. We were lucky to see an eagle in the trees eating a fish.... it is a must-see !!!

Beautiful and relaxing park! I was in Calgary for a day and so glad came to visit the park. Parking is a challenge, so arrive early on weekends. Wish they had more parking.

Amazing place to relax. Near downtown and has plenty of parking. The place is always crowded with people coming to relax near water. The garden is packed with people enjoying family picnics. The area is clean and the flow of water is majestic. Love coming here every couple of days during summer.

Beautiful park with terraces that you can walk down to get to the fast flowing river. A launch for kayaks. A beach area for swimming if you dare, calm water but cold! Bird sanctuary with a board walk so you can get close to marsh wildlife. Beautiful birds.

Beautiful park by the river. There’s also playground and picnic area where you can bbq. I prefer coming here in the fall season to see the colour changes. It’s wheelchair and stroller friendly.

Brief walking area. Neat art spots. Open area for picnic with larger aged trees to provide shade. Bathrooms near parking lot area. Mostly a nice space for the younger ones. This is mostly a water area with some rapids. I’ve seen the cut off spot used for various types of water craft. Generally a crowded area, but a good spot. Fishing type space for learning and hatchery are there too.

I did not know this place. Thought of taking a different route today for cycling routine and ended up here. Absolutely loved the flow of the river. Nice place with lots of shades, not quiet though as it is close to freeway. Lovely place to spend time with your family. Will return back.

Nice City Park along the Bow River in Calgary. Alberta Canada. Felt very safe and easy walk from parking lot to river's edge. Minor rapids provide soothing sound.

Summer time, this place is great. Fun for the family. Bring your swim suits. You can float down the creek or just enjoy the water. It also has spots where younger kids can enjoy. The park itself is quite large. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but that's kind of expected.

We had a church picnic here, and it was so comely. They have lots of parking spaces, lots of spaces for family picnic, recreation, canoeing, swimming and relaxation. The park is close to the Elbow River and is well maintained.

Visited Pearce Estate Park and Harvie Passage for a leisurely outdoor walk with family. It was a good time with lots of people enjoying the sun, canoeing, swimming, and walking or biking down the path. Would return to have some fun in the water. There are low level rapids as well as higher level ones that are separated and distinctly labelled so that people know where they are going. Public washrooms are available

Great park. Playground. Trails to the bow river. Bow habitat fish hatchery is excellent. Staff very personable and know their fish. Super fun for kids to feed the fish. $2 pp. Check feeding dates. They also do guided tours some days Aquarium is small but fun. Great place to take kids. Reasonable price.

This is a great place to take the kiddo. Lots of room to run around, there's hills and rocks. Informative areas and endless things to climb. They have fire pits and shaded areas. On hot days, harvie passage is a great place to go wading in the shallow water. We can spend the whole day here and not even see everything

You got picnic tables, children's play ground. Real washrooms not the portable ones. Once you are tired you can go to the river.

This park is so beautiful all year round! They have some picnic tables each one with it's own grill they have a number were you can call and reserve a table for a specific day and hours and I think there is a small fee. I love this park because it has a decent size parking lot and the park is big enough to keep a safe distant from everybody else. There are paved paths so you can ride your bike too. They have a trout pond for kids and an information centre but they are temporarly closed due COVID. The park also has washrooms

This place is a great weekend walk with interesting things to experience. Kayak course, rock playground, lots of birds and a good playground. Plus some fun educational interactive boards. The one with buttons that allows you to listen to different birds in the areas was a huge hit. We went here three days in a row.

This is my first time to visit this place, called Pearce Estate Park in calgary AB. This place was so quite and amazing place. Good for the kids to walk and play. It is very cool under the trees. U can book for picnic cause they have a bbq stand ang bench. You can bring your dog as well if you have or can walk close to the river. The water was so clean and clear. Recommended yes!!

So quiet. Got everything. Picnic area, bike path, backing to the bow river. Got the fish hatchery. Got little paths you can walk your dogs. Got washroom. Wetlands...I often come here with Bailee for summer swims. It's really nice place in the city for a little afternoon getaway. I've observed a lot of people come here to kayak, and Got their floating gears to enjoy the rapids of the river.
