Awesome location for the view of downtown, especially at night. Must see for those who have not.

Hands down one of the best views of the downtown, and the best place for sunsets! If you're a photographer I highly recommend this location. At night the city skyline is lit up with thousands of lights and looks spectacular.

Top of my list when show offing Calgary. Beautiful views of downtown Calgary and a very nice walk. Park itself is great for walking your dog and enjoying sun.

Come here during the Christmas period to see some of the best light decorations in the city. Lovely place for a stroll or ride. Excellent views of downtown and the mountains (on a clear day).

Great spot to watch the sunset with a beautiful view on Calgary. Free parking is possible at the surrounding streets. It seems that many dog owners come here for a sunset walk. If you are in Calgary for a visit, this is definitely a great spot to watch the sunset!

Taking the dogs for a tour down the trail lots of folks and dogs. A few dogs there that should be leashed for their whole walk... After small incidents, two owners have leashed them for the balance of their walk. Just a reminder to always be on watch in the off-leash areas! A timid dog may not enjoy a large rambunctious dog running up to it!

Beautiful public space. Off leash dog park. Recreation programs. South facing, lots of sun! Great view of the Bow River and Downtown.

Nice view. However, the road was not in good condition. When cyclists raised dust on the way up (no photo here), we had to choose a very steep dirt road to climb.

Amazing views of calgary skyline from this area. Worth the visit for photography or for tourists. Driving around might be not as easy, but very pedestrian friendly

A short walk to go to the top of the stairs and there's a stunning view of Calgary. There are quite a few people running up and down the stairs but they're all so polite.

If you’re only in Calgary for a short amount of time, I’d definitely recommend coming here. Beautiful view of the skyline and a nice walking trail to enjoy the view

Went for an early morning walk with my pupper.. It was the first time we had been there and it was beautiful.. Watching the sun rise was perfect and really set the tone for the day.. Do watch for coyotes as one ran by my car carrying some breakfast just as we were leaving and ran right up the path we had just came from

I climbed the short but steep set of stairs which provides a stunning view of Calgary downtown. I found this view much more enjoyable than the view from the Calgary Tower. Also, it's totally free!

Beautiful spot to look at the city and bask in its beauty. The separated bike lane makes it easy to get around the crowds but also distance from pedestrians as well so they can enjoy the lookout without needing to watch for cyclists. Great summer infustructure there!

Decent park. Trails were a little muddy. Could be maintained much better. But the view of Calgary skyline is beautiful.

Great path that has an unbeatable view of the river and city skyline. Perfect for walking with the pups, even when there's snow!

Locals Tip: Free Short term parking is now allowed inside the Crescent Heights View Point ( 2 hours maximum). So if you feel like it, you can now park 2 hours for free, then do a brisk jog or walk along this scenic route - plus a magnificent view of the Calgary downtown.

Great place for city view. You can see whole downtown and river. Best time to visit is sunset and sunrise, it will give you immense view of Calgary downtown. You can walk your dog over there also small steps to go down near river.

So pretty!!! Felt like the trails back down were a bit too steep for me but others were fine.

Beautiful views of the city and mountains from the top of the bluff. Lots of people exercising on the stairs and many dog walkers and cyclists. A very family friendly feel.

Park right by the downtown community. Love walking my dogs here. Always a good walking area. Plus the view is really wonderful. There's a river right below the park and plenty of parking right by. Also few nice houses to look at.

One of calgary's natural wonders with amazing views of calgary's downtown in a natural setting. With the road closed to traffic it is now a fully walkable experience.

Breath taking you can see the whole downtown, the only down fall was that they have closed parking So we had to park a bit farther and walk to the spot and also it was very smokey and the pictures did not come out well.
