A great chinese restaurant in Huntington Hills NE. Recommend to anyone!!!

Working nearby, it's so awesome to have great Chinese food so close. Cherry Inn is a family run restaurant with awesome people worth supporting. From the first time I met them, I have always found them warm and kind. Often, I pick up my go-to classic Chinese dish: Beef Hor Fun wet-style. I find some places have no idea and the gravy flavor is off. Not here! They got the flavor down pat and the rice noodle is tender with good wok hey. It's exactly how I remembered it and reasonably priced. Support this awesome local family business!

The food was good. It was a little salter than normal but the owner changed it when he found out about it. Very good staff. I would good there again and recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We are so happy we found the Cherry Inn!! Hands down the best Chinese food in Calgary! My wife is British and she has had a hard time finding a good fresh Chinese and this place hit all her cravings. Not only is the food fresh, and so flavourful, but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The owner always thanks his customers and gives fits pumps! We will be back weekly for our Chinese fix! Spring roll didn't have any flavor other than the oil it was deep fried in. Ginger beef and sweet and sour pork were okay, the sauce was hotter than meat and didnt taste fresh.

Decided to try this out for the first time since our usual chinese spot is closed on Tuesdays. Absolutely delicious, the food arrived in 20 minutes, piping hot, and was full of flavour. Massive portions of meat, you really get your money's worth and more. Looks like this is our new local Chinese spot now!

Ate here last month and it was honestly the worst Chinese food meal I've ever had. I came in optimistic and hopeful from all the rave reviews but was very disappointed with my meal. Broccoli had a weird burnt taste or like it had been cooked in a dirty pan, it was pretty much unedible, the ginger beef was so chewy and the batter was doh'y the rice was bland and had just frozen mixed vegetables. It was also cold when I picked up on time and don't live too far. There are too many other great places to try so I will not be back. I hope this reveiw helps this business to strive for better.

Love the Cherry Inn. I have been going there close to 20 years. I have never had a bad meal there in all this time. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Food is always delicious, and the prices are fair. What else could you want. Keep up the good work

I have been loving this restaurant since my my childhood. My dad used to bring my sister and I there, I am so happy they are still providing such quality food so close to home. There is this one crispy noodle seafood dish that I order off menu, nothing quite like it anywhere else that I have had...

Ordered a dinner for 1, was very excited based on the reviews but kinda skeptical cause it sounded like a LOT of food for $20. And it was a lot of food for $20. Not awful food, but not consistently great either. Wonton soup was beautiful, had like 5 wontons and so tasty. Spring roll was above average I’d say. Pretty good. Sweet & sour chicken was very tasty but the chicken chunks were way too big for me. Not the end of the world. I’d still say it’s good though. (See edit @ the bottom) Shanghai noodles were great, can’t complain there. There was something questionable on top of them idk if it was a mushroom of some sort or a weird chunk of meat but it was a very odd texture & I didn’t eat it. Ginger beef is where ya lost me, it was very bad & disappointing. Not a good texture, the beef chunks were dry and tasted like the bottom of a deepfryer. And there was no sauce asides from a measly puddle under the beef? Very strange, not like any ginger beef I’ve had before. Didn’t eat it. (Edited my review bc it was way too generous. Halfway through I gave up trying to enjoy the noodles/chicken. The chicken tasted oily but was masked by the sauce in the first couple bites. I wound up eating two pieces of chicken, maybe 1/3 of the noodles, finished the soup & spring roll but damn. That was disappointing as hell. Dropped to 2 stars and won’t be returning.)

Cherry inn is always good. But today it was even better. Almond chicken, chicken balls, and spring rolls were all crispy and flavorful. Garlic broccoli had nice spiciness.

Finally tried this place after many recommendations. The portions are big and flavour is good. Their ginger beef is one of the best tasting out there. However we did order the deep fried wontons with sweet and sour sauce as well and it was just a bunch of deep fried wonton wrappers with no meat or filling,very strange. Aside from that good overall.

The food was amazing and a lot!! Ordered the egg roll, shrimp fried rice, Singapore noodles, chicken curry rice and the curry prawns sauce! Also had the pina colada 🍹It’s was simply amazing and I had a lot to go because of how much it was. A great place when dining as a group.

Authentic. Amazing. Everything came out quickly and so so good. Can’t say enough how good everything was.

Love love love this place! The old man is a gem. I wish they had more spicier foods because two of their most spicy chicken was tossed in honey and was extremely sweet.

Nice Chinese restaurant. I had ginger beef, sweet and sour chicken and chicken fried rice. It was delicious.

Food tasted good! We’ve been there twice and both times their service was quick. All of us liked their food and the staff was very friendly. Will visit again.

Typical Chinese restaurant with good vibe and excellent customer service. Portions are large, food are ready fast. Would definitely recommend!

I have enjoyed the great food here for over 20 years. The Salt and Pepper Chicken and Beef and Broccoli are my favourites and are outstanding.The Ginger Beef is also outstanding as are many of the dishes I’ve tried over the years. Yip knows my address when I give him my phone number lol. Great food and delivery, the dine in is very good too. I’m so glad that they still provide such good food after all these years.

We love their Wor Wonton Soup, it never fails to impress. It's large enough and full of wontons. We've only ever gotten takeout but they are always quick and on time. Definitely recommend

We have been searching for a great Western style Chinese place in Calgary and going on the strength of the reviews we tried this place. The service was great and the food was quick to come out of the kitchen, which is surprising with how busy the restaurant was. The food, we had vegetable fried rice, which sadly fell very flat and was basically tasteless with some of the vegetables not even being cooked long enough to be warmed up and were still cold right from the kitchen. Stir fried vegetables, which again had very little flavor and once again the vegetables were under cooked, but at least they were warm. Sweat and sour pineapple chicken. I'll give it points for sweet, but didn't taste any sour in the 8 or 9 pieces I tried before moving on. House special chow mein, well down with lots of flavor, the noodles and meat were cooked to perfection, while the source complimented the dish nicely. Maybe we ordered wrong based on all of the other reviews so we will be back again and sample other dishes. Hopefully we can be converted.

I'd rate Cherry Inn second best in Calgary for Chinese food, with Silver Dragon #1. Have only tried a few items. Cherry Inn portions are very generous, and while the fried rice was average, the sliced beef with 2 kinds of mushrooms was fantastic. Same for Special Chow Fun. They offer free items based on subtotals. Their delivery fee was $8 though the distance is 11 km. After trying other places with free or minimal delivery charges only to be disappointed in the food, I return to order from this restaurant.

Catered a lunch for our office for 25 people & it was delicious!! Helpful with gluten allergies & food arrived hot! Ginger beef, sweet/sour chicken & salt/pepper squid was one of the best in the city! Highly recommend in Calgary!

I love there Wor Wonton, it never fails to satisfy and it’s loaded with wontons. Friendly and fast service. I’ve never eaten in but always have had great success with takeout

OMG, the food was great, the service was prompt and attentive, the portion sizes are huge (compared to lots these days), price was very reasonable and the restaurant is very clean. Definitely will come here again.

Delicious dinner. The shrimp with 2 kinds of mushrooms was so good I might have to go back today. Nice, friendly service. Definitely recommend.

Ate in the restaurant and the food was so good. Loved every bite and I took some home. Still great Chinese food after all these years. Must be because it is run by a family. Thanks guys

Been going to the Cherry Inn since the early 90's for their lunch specials. Now retired I find myself drawn back for their dinners. Yuen Chow has made great food for a very long time. I was worried he retired and sold the business thank goodness that didn't happen. Will support him and his family as long as he's in business.

Great lunch combo. Soup, choice of carb, and 2 sides. With tax it comes to 13 something. I've ordered the same thing both times I've eaten here, which was wonton soup, chow mein, ginger beef and chicken in black bean sauce. The portions of ginger beef and Chow Mein are huge, and the chicken with black bean sauce is smaller, but tons of chicken. The meal comes in a great container that keeps sauces separate and is also microwave safe. Very much looking forward to the day my roomie wants Chinese so I can try more dishes!

Absolutely excellent in every way. The best Chinese food you can buy with reasonable prices. On occasion we try another place out and we always regret it. Not only will they prepare your food with the highest standard of excellence, the owner will bring it to you and give you a fist bump too. You must try their food!

Excessive batter on everything Fried rice had a fishy taste. Huge portions however and very friendly.

Went for lunch. Serving size was great value. Food was served quickly, and was piping hot. Excellent food. Will go again.
