My kids love the planes so we were looking forward to this visit. The museum is open from 10 am till 4 pm. Great collection to see inside & touch the history by this way. Unfortunately, the hangar outside was closed on that day. We were offered 20% discount or the pass for another day. As we couldn’t come back, we took the discount. The staff is helpful & friendly.

As it was father's day we have been there and to my surprise it was free for father's .It's worth going there. We had such a great time knowing about and watching the flights of yester years. And the great brains behind who build the flights and rockets. Each flight is a live example. Besides, there was Helicopter tours for 10 min. Any of your family member can sit take ride on the helicopter. Fantastic Ariel view experience of Calgary. Don't miss it. Museum staff was so polite and helpfull.

Absolutely loved this flight museum. My husband is a big fan of airplanes and cars and this place was like a perfect place for our weekend getaway. We just enjoyed learning the history of Canadian aircrafts . Plus : Ticket is just $15 per person and they also offer helicopter rides for $100 per person.

Easily one of the best aircraft museum experiences I've had. The staff here is very passionate about history and are excited to share it with you. John, a volunteer, gave us all a tour of the museum and walked us around, teaching us about the unique history of each aircraft and its place in the history of Canada. He was very passionate and kept it intesting. I will be returning to visit from the States every time I come into the country.

This place is a great place to visit with kids! It's a mix of educational and interactive. There's an aisle of a WestJet plane that you can sit in. There's a large selection of old planes that you can see, as well as engines of all kinds. We will surely be back! The gift shop is reasonable as well.

Great place to learn about the history of aviation in Western Canada. I especially liked the wedding dress made out of parachute, I believe at that time they were silk.

It's basically 2 hangers with a few old planes in there. Cool spot to checkout if you are new to the city.

Fantastic spot. Love that you can buy tickets online or in person now. Once inside it’s spacious and informative, a mix of old and new exhibits. The kids loved going in and out of the WestJet training cabin, I loved all the engines upstairs. The women’s bathroom is AMAZING with the anteroom. Nursing? Overstimulated? Kids just need a reset? Perfect space. We had snacks on the picnic table outsideunder the helicopter before heading into the tent hangar to see even more.

Came here for the candlelit concert. It's an interesting place with different airplane displays. I read about one fighter who died at age 22. He was a student in the University of Calgary before being a fighter jet pilot.😢 Washroom could be cleaned better

Great little aviation museum that does a great job of telling Canada's aviation history through most of the 20th century. A collection of really nicely restored vintage aircraft on display, both civilian and military. The outdoor fabric hangar was closed due to weather damage when I visited, but it is expected to be repaired later this year.

Fun visit following being given a 20% discount due to second hangar building being closed currently, reducing the cost of entry to C$12. Interesting, informative exhibits throughout. Worth a visit.

Great place for a quick visit. We stopped by before our flight home and it was a good way to spend an hour. Unfortunately 1 of the hangars was closed and since we paid online beforehand, we were offered a discount on the next visit rather than the day of.

Took my 11 year old here and had a lot of fun. If you or your kids love planes, you'll enjoy this place. Lots of history, don't be afraid to ask the staff on the floor questions... they'll have the answers! Now my son wants to learn to fly ...lol

Dad and myself went here for a rainy day activity. I was pretty impressed with the airplanes, engines, information about Calgary and how much of an influence it has been to the RCAF. It was very cool! I learned a lot and it was very cool seeing the bombers!!

While on a work trip to Alberta this last week I had time to spare on Sunday so came here while I was waiting for my hotel room. I'm glad I did. I'm a huge aviation and student of WW II history. This museum is a fantastic hidden gem with a great collection and knowledgeable volunteers. Their engine collection is one of the better ones that I have seen. A must see for aviation fans who find themselves in Calgary.

Nice museum of old Canadian aircrafts. You get to see the structures and also manifold engine types. Pretty darn interesting if you’re an engineer or an aircraft aficionado.

We took our seniors here for a free jazz presentation and was AMAZING! They had tables ready with snacks and beverages. Was very organized and such friendly welcoming staff. The band even played happy birthday to one of our residents that was turning 103!!! Wonderful museum for everyone to explore! Thank you for such great hospitality! :)
