Sprawled in 14 acres and a venue of over 120 sophisticated stores of various kinds, the Core Shopping Centre is a high end mall in the heart of downtown, Calgary, accessible by Calgary transit. In fact, it is right on the 3rd street LRT's east bound platform. Moreover, it is in the proximity of the Calgary tower and the famous Stephen Avenue -the Walk Street - known as the pedestrian mall. The best feature that sets apart this mall from other aristocratic malls; however, is the 2.5 acre alluring garden, a children playground with lots of enticing equipment, and a 1,000 seat food court with numerous eateries. Although the beautifully crafted mall has all the ingredients required to attract multitude of shoppers and visitors, unfortunately, it closes its doors at 6:00 pm. Owing to the long summer days, it is desirable that the mall remain open until 9:00 pm.

2022 June 4.5★ Right in the heart of downtown, this is an exceptionally and beautifully designed mall. connected to other malls or centres as well. With glass elevators running up to the top, glass ceilings and nicely laid out stores, this is fun to walk in.  With great anchor stores such as Simon's, Banana Republic and others, here you'll also find the gardens at the fourth floor. Parking available nearby. Transit stop in front.

I was very very impressed with this mall but mostly because of the garden at the top floor. They have a nice food court at the top and plenty of places to sit around all around the garden. They have plenty of plants and the windows do make it feel like a greenhouse. I can imagine that this place gets pretty hot in the summer though but nevertheless a must stop while visiting Calglary.

I have not seen any mall with indoor garden. Kids really enjoyed the indoor garden, play ground, fish pond and jjst like other malls there were enough outlets of needed brand, enough washroom and parking with accessibility options. However street parking may be hard to find and may be expensive depending on where you park. But over all this is a unique mall. The food court was another cool one where you can see through the ceiling all the tall buildings. Follow for more reviews.

How is it possible that the CORE shopping center located in TD Tower only works from 11 till 6???? The inly thing that makes a visit worthy is the Botanical garden in the 4th floor.

Had amazing experience at the mall Usually I don’t prefer going to malls with kids But it was a great experience with kids due to their Devonian Garden at level 4 They had a small play area for kids to play And it was lifesaver for mother Overall had nice time there

Love this mall! Accessible from multiple directions downtown, and it's beautiful (check out the garden on the top floor)! Huge too, lots of stores.

Great shopping centre! High quality retail stores. Unique goods. Devonian Gardens are located here. Nice public spaces and eateries in the food court area.

It's a good place. You can enjoy shopping, eat, or drink coffee. There are many floors, so there are many things to do. There is a pretty garden on the fourth floor. There, you can chill by looking at the fish in the pond and looking at the sunlight coming from the glass ceiling.

Amazing mall in Calgary, we like it, great environment, very clean, a lot of places to see and yo take a photos. A lot of brands and choose. The food area very clean and big.

The mall was nice, but the real cool thing about it is the garden on the top floor. It's really nice. Filled with real plants and little fountains. It's really beautiful to just walk around and see everything. Definitely recommend visiting. I haven't seen anything like this before

I do like this mall. It has reasonable parking rules, good access for pedestrian, drivers or public transport riders. It has an aesthetically pleasing architecture, especially upstairs at the Devonian Gardens. Good job integrating the greenery oasis into the concrete jungle.

Such an awesome mall with a lovely indoor garden on the top level. The food court was nice, and the restrooms were clean. But mall closes at 6 PM. I think they can keep it open longer during summer.

The place has lots of amazing outlets to shop from. Right in core downtown Calgary, next to 4th Street and 3rd Street Station, once can directly access the shopping center. The Devonian Gardens on the third floor alongside the food court is a great place to enjoy and spend time with friends and family.

It's a good and nice place for shopping. You can enjoy shopping, eat, or drink coffee. There are many floors and stores. There is a pretty garden on the fourth floor. The largest mall in calgary very well located in the heart of downtown . Food court on the 4th floor. Devonian Garden relaxes you where you can get your lunch and enjoy it among tropical plants amd a koi pond.

It was fantastic! With over 160 stores to choose from, I had a blast exploring the diverse range of shops and enjoying a delicious meal at one of the many dining options. The modern ambiance and convenient amenities made my shopping experience truly enjoyable!

Really cool mall, connected to the many office towers in the downtown core, with the absolutely gorgeous Devonian Gardens inside. Honestly a fantastic mental relief, beautifully serene, a real visual and sensory treat in the middle of the city.

Love the rooftop garden and the water features. My mom really enjoyed coming here. Not a lot of choices for the foodcourt but otherwise a decent mall in the middle of downtown Calgary

Loved the Devonian gardens! Be aware when you go to the women's washroom! The security camera is directed into the first cabin, and they can see your butt and all the rest of the nasty things you plan to do in there. See the photo. There are too many homelesses as well in the center.

Absolutely incredible! There are 4 floors packed with shops and restaurants. It is very easy to commute to via train and the building branches into other ones nearby, with even more restaurants. The city scenery and vegetation inside is beautiful. I’m definitely coming back next time.

Nice shopping centre in the mid of downtown. Easily accessible through transit. Lot of shopping options. Public washrooms is a big problem and they have to manage that for some reason. Food court is nice. Be careful while visiting as lot of drug addicted are roaming all around even some of them come inside the mall. Be watchful. Although lot of place to walk and sit and enjoy the mall.

More people than I expected but relatively quiet. Would be great if more people could head down and make this mall vibrant on the weekends! Good stores, lots of variety, safety measures in place, lots of food options.

At first it looks like just any downtown shopping center. It's clean well lit and kind of busy. But there is a secret garden hidden on the top floor which is beautiful and the best place to hang out drink a coffee and learn about plants honestly out of ever city I have been to I have never seen anything like this.

Love this mall!! Spacious big mall in the city, they have events going on with pretty setting for instagram, has a whole botanical garden at 4th floor by the food court. So amazing to see so much green in the building.

Mall js gigantic for one day shopping. Hudson bay collection is too pretty for ladies. you can enjoy your breakfast with a view! It has H&M, Pretzel, Tim Hortons and many other shops. It has greenery on the top floor kind of Reels content for social activities!

The shopping mall is pretty big and lots of shops around situated in 4 or so floors. Some closed early and some don't open on weekends or maybe due to covid. I was looking for a pasty shop and the one I wanted to go was closed on Saturday. So I stop by here for a coffee and a pasty. Coffee was nice and medium strong but I did not like the pasty. The dough seem bit old and cream was buttercream which isnt soft and fluffy. But overall, cute shop, nice friendly staff and it was open, so thankful for that.

We didn't go shopping here because it was late but enjoyed the different artwork and looking at the different places to visit the next time we're in Calgary.

Excellent shopping experience. Great variety of stores for all of your home needs (no grocery store for your kitchen needs though 🤷🏽‍♀️) Still, it is a great place to shop for clothing items for all seasons and meet up with friends for a "mall day"...

November 2021: The mall is way too crowded during COVID. There are some many people that I see dozens in the elevators going up and down, and the hallways are so crowded it is impossible to social distance. There were many people walking around with no mask. The mall looks to be at full capacity when legally, it should be at less capacity. Mgmt does not seem to care. Will not be visiting again in the near future.

A nice and beautiful mall for decent to high quality clothing and apparel. Plus they have the beautiful devonion gardens. Maybe not so great as it once was but still a nice add on. Also has the largest skylight/ceiling in any building in Western Canada. Worth stopping by to visit and check out.

Wide variety of stuff to see and do. Most beautiful during Christmas season. Devonian Gardens located here too. Definitely worth a visit!

Good experience shopping at the core mall. We can by the trim and walk around looking at the decorations for Christmas. Some good shopping selections stores but overall really good time. Definitely recommend a visit if your in the downtown area.

Lots of stores to choose from but the layout is somewhat scattered. After the recent renovations there are lots of hidden gems in the banker’s hall area that are not as well known! The mall is clean and bright, a welcoming visit each time. Washrooms are generally clean and the dining hall has a good selection of food to pick from. Quick access to the Devonian Gardens which is a nice addition for people after finishing their meals. A pretty unique selection of stores in terms of Calgary shopping malls but they’re more niche so you may not always find what you’re looking for. Not too populated most of the time and worth checking out!

The mall is amazing. I love the Devonian gardens, food court is great, same with the shops in general. However, some people here are very creepy and rude. I was walking at the mall and I passed by a store called Paragon. I passed it because I was trying to get to the gardens. The worker there stopped me and wanted to ask me a question. I didn't want to be rude so I stopped to listen to him, he started talking to me for almost 10 minutes, wasting my time and showing me skin care products which I completely do not care about. I have no interest in this store whatsoever. He then tried to sell me some perfume for over 400 dollars. That is extremely expensive and I would not buy it either way. I told him I don't have the money which I don't. He then pressured me into buying a perfume that I completely do not want. He tried to reduce the price with the help of the manager and when I said I don't have the money and that I have to go, he kept trying to get me to stay and encouraged me to use a credit card even though I don't have one. He appeared to try to take advantage of me, probably because I'm young. He was money hungry and literally tried to prevent me from leaving until I would pay him for the perfume. I finally left without buying it. His English was a bit poor so he may have thought I accepted the perfume even though I clearly stated that I cannot afford, nor did I care to. But the mall itself is good, but if you pass by the Paragon, please do not bother talking to this person. He will waste your time and pressure you into buying extremely expensive things. Overall I was very disappointed.
