Impressed. This place is awesome. It is the perfect mix of great food and fun games all in one place. You can eat delicious lunch or dinner here and work off your meal with a plethora of games for prizes. I was impressed by the quality of the restaurant food served here. Games area was also clean and tidy. They even had lunch specials with a three course meal consisting of salad, a medium pizza, and ice cream for around 15 to 18 dollars.

The Rec Room is a great place full of games games and games. Food also not the biggest selection and pretty pricey for what's on the menu. Awesome place full of fun times to be had with friends and loved ones or when you're just trying to get out on your own. But you should probably bring a friend tho..

This is the only Rec Room in Calgary area, so your only option if you are into these. This place in particular has a decent arcade with almost all the usual games and machines. The ticket return is also the usual. They have working VR games as usual at the VRCADE section. The only cons were not having a bowling alley and the fact that some of the machines did not work on every tap. The staff however made up for it by refunding the lost credits.

Very fun place to go with the family. I feel like it's a place for all ages ...well within reason. My son is 2 years old and he really enjoyed himself and was just fascinated by all the games that were there. I like the fact of getting a card that comes with a big card and a small card that gets put on a ribbon for your points. And it's great that you don't need to use the points on the same day you visit there you can keep saving up your points each time you visit and when you save up as many points as you want to redeem in the store for whichever gift/prizes you want makes it so much better. There is such a great selection in the store where you can use your points. The only thing that I dislike is the amount of points you need to get for some of the prizes that are available. It could take a long while to build up points for.some of the prizes that are in the store. But for the amount of money it costs for points to play the games makes it all worth it. We only spent a little over 20 dollars and that kept us busy with games for a good 1.5 hours. You can also get food in there as well. There isn't a big selection but it's nice just to get just a drink and snack if you plan on spending half the day there with the kids. Always have a great experience when we visit the rec room.

It was really fun place with so many great games, especially the VR game! Sorry to the people who was in my pictures! I tried my best to avoid taking people into my photos but still could not accommodate that. We spent all the money deposited into the card, but still could not stop because those games were so good and full with fun! Also, the customer service was prompt and great. We had an issue, but the service guy came to fix it within couple of minutes! Will definitely keep going back ! You should come to try too. Highly recommended.

Talk about a great escape in the city! If you ever have one of those days were you just want to let loose, have some fun, and live like an action hero for a day, look no further than the Rec Room. It does cost a little $$ but the experience is well worth it. My friend and I had an absolute blast. As it turns out I am a lousy driver and an awesome sniper. We got ourselves a $50 card at the dispenser and began our adventure at the motorcycle racing game. Three games later we were hooked. However, it is the virtual reality rides that really drew us in. The first one we went for was the seated one where you picked the video and rode your way threw space deserts and haunted mines. You shake and rattle but never get sick of this wild ride. The one experience you have to do more than once is the "Time Zombies" shoot 'em up VR game. You travel through various time periods and locations destroying zombies that are coming in all directions at you. This place is worth coming to when you want an experience. They even have events and parties there from time to time. I might just have to go one night.

Always impressed with the food here! Very flavourful and lots of options. We had the salmon and crispy tofu bowls. Salmon portion was kinda small otherwise great. For drink we shared a delicious French Kiss cocktail. Thank you Arges and staff for great service and being accommodating. 4 stars for atmosphere as it was a bit loud for our liking with the game room nearby.

This is a really great place with tons of fun games, VR, arcades and even pool, golf simulation and table tennis on the second floor. Food was okay. There was a weird cheese on our nachos that we didn’t appreciate too much, though the jalapeño poppers and goat pizza were quite tasty.

We came here for a friend's birthday. It was everyones first time to the venue, and we had such a blast! The food was filling and so so delicious! The drinks and cocktails were decently priced and super yummy! They had games for EVERYTHING. we even played 4 person air hockey! They had a Cinco de Mayo party the Friday we went, and that was so fun! Watching everyone dance, and they had a dj playing some awesome beats! Even as a group of adults, we found many many games to enjoy as singles, and as a group! Highly recommend this place if youre looking for something fun to do thats a bit retro!

Had a visit with my wife & good friends on Saturday 12th. Was greeted first thing when entering The Rec Room by friendly staff. My friends were hungry so we decided to get a bite to eat. I had the poutine which was pretty good the gravy tasted good but could of been hotter. My wife had the pretzel she really enjoyed it. And my friends liked their salad and nachos. The servers we very nice and friendly. Next it was time for hitting up some games. This place has a lot of games but they could use more older games for example pinball and fighting games. The point system is good but I got ripped of on the barrel game I had 300 points but it only counted 151... It was at this moment I gave up on the tickets. Spent 50 dollars and got about 1402 tickets. The place was bit of a gong show by 4:00pm so decided to leave. ***Note they need to do something with huge PAC Man game as people can walk in between you and screen not cool!***

We stopped by the Rec Room for some fun and games to finish our date day. We grabbed a $100 game card and started jamming some shooter games. Most of the games worked great, I think the Transformer game had a jittery second gun which mad aiming difficult. We played through a whole chapter of Tomb Raider. I really wanted to play House of the Dead or the Aliens shooter, but they were both very busy. We stopped by the bar for a quick drink. Service was quick and the bartender didnt seem busy as many of the patrons were underage and not buying drinks. The Rec Room offered a decent selection of games. There were many kids enjoying the day here, probably 2-3 kids for every adult. Maybe the vibe is different at different times, but today it was very kid heavy, with boys sprinting around and wrestling with their buddies. Probably an amazing time and place to be a kid. I give it a 4/5 stars, as it was quite fun, but maybe not the best place for a mature gamer. I sort of missed some of the retro games from my youth. I didn’t see too many fighting games or side scrollers, mostly shooters, carnival type games and racing games.

Honestly, this visit was not very good. Not sure if its the Pandemic or if management changed. The service was terrible. Never got any attention from my server... she was never around. The food was bland and tasteless. There was no chance of getting a drink at the bar cuz there wasn't anyone there at the centre bar. Over in the arcade area there was no hand sanitizing stations or anyone wiping down machines or visible trying to keep things clean. Once you make your way to the prize area to redeem your tickets collected... the shelves were bare and had no chance of being restocked. When I asked the people at the redemption desk they simply looked back with a empty stare and said... "oh, we had no idea it was going to be this busy. And shrugged it off". Very disappointing visit.

Love the arcade always fun for everyone. The food however is terrible you are better going to mcdonald’s. I ordered a free spirited cocktail that came with pomegranate syrup and it was terrible, didnt taste like pomegranate and bitter. We had ordered the pepperoni pizza for dinner and it was paper thin, shouldve been cooked longer and just didnt taste good in general. The service wasnt very good either. Our waitress wasnt very friendly, When we asked for a lime wedge she brought it over wrapped in a napkin and she wasnt very attentive.

Hangout with my workmates in Three10 bar and restaurant. The happy hour booze and food were all bang for your buck! We played arcade games afterwards and hopefully they can add more. It’s not busy on a Thursday night, however, I can see weekends here can be pretty packed and busy with just a few rows of game and activities. Nonetheless, a very exciting and sensory overload place to have fun with your friends and families. Definitely coming back to try out the DJ night and TopGolf simulator!

Food is lacking however we come for the games! Love taking our 7 year old here & have been coming since it opened. We skip food here and eat elsewhere. Not a lot of options for dietary restrictions. It’s nice to be able to have a drink & play some games all afternoon with your kids though! The games aren’t “rigged” either, many times we have hit the highest jackpot on different games resulting in a great stock pile of tickets to spend. You can save points and game credits to use next visit. The point / game credit cards we have also work when we visit other locations.

Nice big location. Staff were nice and greeted us when we arrived. Explained everything to us. It wasn't overly crowded as it was very spacious. A couple of restaurants to choose from and all looked great. I've ate at the rec room at other locations and liked it but never tried the food while we were there this time. Prices are fair and I enjoyed the layout. All machines were working which is always nice! Good for all ages but if you're bringing younger kids please watch them.

I would love to give 10 stars out of 5 from the Manager Aman if I got his name right 😊 to the servers especially to Kevin our server last night. He was so accommodating, very kind and patient. We were a group of 20 guests with kids. The food was great, kids had so much fun in the arcade while us, parents enjoying catching up with each other. This is the best place in Calgary where everything is all in one.We were like so loud and laugh so hard.Kids had fun at the arcade while dad’s doing Pingpong on the second floor after dinner. The food was great!!! The ambiance was a happy place. This was such a memorable night for us as we celebrate our Annual Christmas Party! Thank you for our great night,Kevin! You are a 100000 % awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent food!!! Unique, flavorful and absolutely delicious. The cocktails actually make you stand up and take notice!! Especially the Dutch Mule made with Spicy Ginger Beer! The games are fun and let's be honest, addicting! On a Friday or Saturday night it's such a vibe! The DJ usually has the atmosphere lit!!!

So this is a pretty cool place. Ideal with kids as there is limited there just for adults, but kids with you and you will have a good time. Effectively you loadup some wrist bands with ”credits” which is done via a counter or machine with real money. You then use the credits on arcade games. Some of the games are classic arcade games - shooters, streetfighter, racers etc. Some of them are “ticket” games which can be collected and then exchanged for rubbish prizes. There is a bar there where you can have a drink and get food. There are also Table Tennis / ping pong tables and pool tables. And finally some multiplayer VR rooms. All in all we have a good time there. You can easily spend a couple of hours there but not much more than that. Most games were working and in pretty good order. Some were broken and some were in bad order, but on the whole, a good time was had. Our first trip was relatively close to opening. We had a full intro to the games and credit system via a host who was really helpful. It slowly got busier towards lunchtime but we could still get on everything. Our second visit was to use up remaining credits. And was at 2pm on a Friday afternoon. It was much busier, there were hardly any staff around and some of the games were hard to get on because of so many people. Only one woman working the VR and the prizes stall means you are queueing and waiting around quite a while for them.

This is a great place to have some fun with friends. The games were all well kept for the most part but the food was very ok. Took a long time and was not seasoned very well. Seemed a little overly expensive for what you got. Would come again but would not eat here again.

Just visited the rec room after about a 2 year gap between visits. The experience has gotten even better and the layout much improved. 10 out of 10 for family fun for all ages!

Lot of games if you come with your little one..just head up in case you go to " play with your food" , drink was ok but then we had to wait like 25 min for a "funnel cake", nothing like the picture they show you.. a disgusting oily piece of dough that I wouldn't feed my dog, my wife can make them way better and won't take her 10 min..

So many awesome memories have been created here I still have my prizes that i won from here. I love how many game options there are. Another thing i love is how everyone there is very patient and respectful. There is also a lot of games so the lines are small when there is one. I would say the area is pretty good too considering it's close to a lot of things.

Another great spot for games and food and drinks. Located just off Deerfoot, which makes it easy and accessible. The staffing is highly trained and friendly. The food is really good and the drinks to go with it compliment it.
