Great space and paths. Great location. Only 3 stars though as its badly maintained. The parking lot is often a mud pit, not paved and little to no gravel. There are many areas with no grass (just dirt, or mud) needs to be reseeded. Dog is a dirty mess after most visits. Also watch out for foxtails.

I couldn't believe how much people didn't pick up after their dog. Most unclean dog park I've been to in Calgary. As a dog walker, I go to many parks in Calgary, and this one is by far the worst I have seen. The park itself is nice and not too busy. But people need to clean up!!

A large, well fenced park. Good location with a number of interesting areas for my dog to explore. Unfortunately, each time we've visited, I have found it filthy all over with a considerable amount of dog waste. I cannot fault the park itself for this, but it does detract from the user/dog experience.

This park is HUGE - and entirely fenced in if you're worrying about that. There's also seperate fenced areas for training. The pups seem to love it so take up the rating with them.

It's a great size dig park for bug and small dogs. It has a water fountain at tye entrance which is excellent and more parks should add one of these.

Paths and grasses area can get a bit muddy after rain, but over all a great little dog park. looks like they hauled in more gravel. πŸ•

Garbage bins are really full but otherwise we enjoy this park. More dog fountains would be awesome also.

We are frequent guests of the park and love our routine walk. The park needs more attention to cleanliness. Efforts from the community are noted through community clean-ups and support from local businesses - however, strong odours and dog waste are frequently observed. The space has the potential to be expanded further west. This should be something considered for the future as the weekends tend to push the capacity limits of the space provided. The park offers a multitude of activities for all types of breed tendencies; from a boardwalk to multiple shrubbed areas throughout, I have witnessed dogs of all walks enjoy this green space.

A good fenced dog park. They have separate fenced areas for dog training. Couple of water dispensers for the dogs. I wish they had some more shade and trees in the park. Most seating benches are without shade and can be quite exhausting on hot days. Plenty of parking available!

Fun park! Always very friendly owners too. People need to do better at cleaning up after their dogs but it's not horrible. There's lots of garbage cans throughout.

Such a great dog park! Fenced in and lots of places to roam and explore. It is obviously quite new, and the trees are still tiny, but still lots of fun for people and pups and will get better as the greenery matures.

It's a lovely place but some people seem to think that it's OK to let their more aggressive dogs off leash with the others. It's not everytime but there are a few dogs we've encountered there that growl, snap and tackle other dogs and their owners either pull them off and set them loose again or just call their dogs name and say, "No no" which does absolutely nothing. It's usually fine but just keep an eye out for your dogs there.

Great dog park but gets busy on weekends. Recommend going early or late in the day. They have planted some nice tree features and take good care of it.

Really lovely park! It's so big, lots of space for the dogs to run around in. Good use of the space. The dog water fountain doesn't work though.

Great dog park. I love that it has two training areas, a water fountain and lots of space for our dog to run around.

Large dog park. Able to run our dog without bothering others. Even has a water fountain for the dogs. But unfortunately some pet owners don't clean up after their pets. Despite that, we'll be back.

Nice little fenced off leash area. Getting out into traffic can be difficult. The majority of dogs and their owners are friendly, polite, and understand canine behavior/ signals. But as always, and like any other off leash area, there are a few that do not know anything or very little about canine behavior/ signals, which can lead to negative experiences.

It's not bad, but there's no pool for my dog to swim in, and because of her arthritis she can't run a lot because then she starts limping. There's plenty of room to run for dogs, but if your dog is fat or prone to arthritis and if its a hot day then your dog might suffer heat stroke. I like to go to the pine creek off leash area because my dog can swim in the river and cool off on super hot days.

As far as off leash parks go, this one is pretty good. Very open, even of its full, there is still lots of space for the dogs to run on their own should they want. It's unfortunate that the city has so few parks in the south of the city now... hopefully once ring road is complete they will actually do something about it. But until then, besides being out if my way, this park is a nice spot for them

We love this dog park it’s a huge open space so you can see your dog even when they run at top speed away from you 😳 Titan thinks it’s awesome there the one of him laying down is him refusing to leave!

One of the beat God parks. My dog and I really enjoy coming here, not once we had an issue with any other dogs or owners Seems like the city keeps up with keeping the place clean.

Wide open space for puppy to run. Mostly dirt though with little break from the wind if it's a cold day. But lots of parking and a great space!

Very big off leash dog park for your furry children to enjoy in SE. Took my furry nephew here for a walk. He met a lot of his friends there. My sister and brother in law takes him there everyday.

Lots of happy, playful dogs of all ages. Plenty of room to run around. Also has two average size enclosures for dogs in need of a quieter play space.

Nice area and beautiful space but I wish there was another entrance to it, when it gets busy, so many people are all entering and leaving at one spot. Also, just in one area near the entrance, there was so much poop that weren’t picked up. Too bad though, we would go there more often as it is closer to home. But there are other parks in the south that are much better in community pick up.

I love going to this park. Most dog owners are friendly and respectful and dogs are well behaved. My dog loves playing and running with other dogs here. All areas are fenced so it is really safe for your dogs.

A vast yard for your dog very nice with private training areas. It's not perfect as there aren't activities to do there with your dog.

Looooove this dog's park. Well I don't have a dog...but I have a toddler who loves dogs and always carry his puppy toy with him when we take a walk there. Dog park is very clean, wide open ground, with great grass. Whoever has been doing the work to maintain the dog park besides the great dog owners, thank you πŸ’•

Auburn Bay Dog Park is a nice surprise to newcomers. Decently sized, half a dozen bins, a couple of pens, and a good mix of field, hills, bushes and trees. 2-3 loops will make your pups tired. Also a great place to meet furriends.

I used to love this dog park. Went almost daily with my black tri Australian shepherd. Know a lot of the regulars etc. My dog is still training/a pup. Had a scary run in when my dog jumped on a lady and she yelled at me and threatened to kick my dog if he ever came near her again. Now I am scared to go back to the place I love/frequent often. Any advice/comments is appreciated. My dog is super friendly never attacked or hurt any dog or person.
