Watched a film from way back home, nice cushy reclining seats, not crowded during our family visit.

We ordered our tickets online. This was a great idea. It is easy enough to pick your seats and pay for your tickets prior to getting to the theatres. You should also order your snacks etc online as well. The lineup for snacks was seriously INSANE! But the line for online orders was about 5 people compared to like 150+. We didn't order anything so we didn't wait in line. There are lots of theatres here which divided into sides. Each side has a ticket taker, washrooms and water fountains. There is an arcade to play video games etc. in the main area while waiting. The theatres are relatively small but definitely clean. Of course, there is good sound. And with the reclining seats, you will be quite comfortable. All in all a good theatre experience!

My favourite movie theatre. Great prices for what you get. The recliner seats are super comfortable, it’s great when you get stuck with it for a long movie. The theatre is very safe with covid, and the theatre has an amazing modern atmosphere. Definitely a top priority to be here if your watching a new release.

I’m a regular here. Terrific auditoriums with great sound, and awesome customer service. I’m always here and it has a very welcoming atmosphere. Snacks are great, staff were awesome. I’ve needed help with ticketing issues in the past and the staff have always been extremely helpful. The seating was terrific. The ‘Atom’ site is incredibly easy and makes the whole movie-night-out go a whole lot smoother.

This place violates human rights. No way should I be forced to get a vaccine or covid test. Soap2day is great

We went to see Black Adam. The seats were so comfy, the refills are always appreciated. There was about 30 minutes left of the movie when the projector blew up. The cinema compensated each of us with two tickets each!! This place is amazing.

Going out to the movies is such a fun experience. Especially with the reclining seats. I can’t tell you how much that makes the experience so enjoyable. Being a sweet tooth, I love the selection at the concession stand. But make sure you arrive a little early as the lineup for concession is always long.

It was the first time we've been back to the movies since Covid hit. The new cleaning procedures were fantastic and the assigned seating for social distance was really nice. There are black plastic barriers between groups of 2 seats now so you really feel separated from the other patrons. The theatre was really empty which is great but I encourage anyone who loves watching movies to go see it on the big screen. It's so much better than at home. The movie industry needs all our support to keep making great films. Thank you Landmark.

My partner and I locked ourselves out of our car and waited for the locksmith to come. We waited in the theatre after hours because it was too cold to wait outside. The manager working that night, Melissa, was so nice and she made sure we were alright. She was an angel, and she was able to make this stressful situation a little better. The movie theatre is also great; clean, comfortable seats, and fun arcade games it truly has it all. Anyway, it’s nice to know this place has such a wonderful manager!!

Great set up in theaters for social distancing, they are doing everything right !! Not one complaint. We go everyweek.

Landmark all the way baby. I would sell my firstborn to support blockbusters after covid... And landmark is the place I'll go once the purchase is completed. I'll even keep going here once my firstborn grows up. When I'm on the run, and this is a spot where my whereabouts are a known commonality, I will still come to landmark. Even if I have to fight my child there in the lobby. God bless this place and its staff. Bravo.

Such a pleasure in these Covid times - so much space - saw a movie in the IMAX theater and we had amazing physical distancing. The cleanliness was also remarkable. Great experience.

Easily the best theater in the city. The pop machines are awesome, as are the 2 person seats. I always have a great time here. The movie also wasn't too loud for me, which was enjoyable. I will say that there was a problem with our tickets, so that's why there is only 4 stars. It said our tickets were invalid when we paid for them online. Unsure why.

No seating to eat a hot dog. You have to line up twice once for concession and again for drinks. They shut most drink machines before the last show. I bought hot dogs but they didn't tell me about condiment issues. Coke was out and I couldn't get it elsewhere as the other machines were shut down. Very expensive tickets. Couldn't start a movie if their life depended on it.

Great seats. And always have fun here watching movies. Concession is great we love the popcorn and cotton candy. Hope to check out arcade now that its open (seems to be on small side but could be fun while waiting for movie to get started).

Other than the door only being opened 10 mins before my movie and having 2 special needs clients with us, who take a fair bit of time to get organized. Everything else was great. We had the entire theater to ourselves. We got the food quickly, seats were comfy. If you are one that is worried about other humans being sick. ( I'm not) there were dividers between every second set of chairs. Date nights would be even more ideal, you can steal more kisses. If you go with the kids, they can feel like you are not there. Its a cool idea.

I enjoyed my first movie with them, from a gift card. It was a little confusing, they only have one line for tickets and concession, it was new for me. The service was great, and helpful. The theatre was amazing, comfortable recliner seats.

One of my favorite movie theaters by far. Only issue is that the amount of ads before the movie is too much. My family has used this movie theater the most, and there has been movie theaters that have play places so kids, such as my siblings, can play in before the movie begins, but this one doesn't, which is a little disappointing, but I don't really expect luxury often, so it's okay! This, is 100% my Childhood movie theater

We went in to watch the long awaited Lion King. What better place to watch it than at Landmark Cinemas! From buying the tickets, getting the snacks and finally settling down to watch the movie, the excitement and experience was awesome! The picture quality was beautiful and sitting together as a family to watch the movie brought back such sweet memories.

My home neighbourhood movie theatre, which means I might be a bit biased but overall I've had lots of great experiences with the (I admit overpriced) concession and the staff. Very comfortable reclining seats and great audio :)

We should not have to wait 35 minutes in a lineup to get popcorn for a movie. Over half the cashiers are not staffed. Managers get your act together, this is not acceptable!!

We decided to go to Country Hills as the movie we wanted to see was sold out in our regular VIP theatre. Was not a great experience. We arrived well before our show and the concession line was almost to the door. They had 5 of 12 tills open. So we weren’t able to get snacks. The floor everywhere was extremely dirty and the bathroom was horrendous. We walked past a mountain of boxes to get to our theatre. I get businesses get shipments, but it’s not a great guest experience. The recliners were super comfy and the screen/sound was good quality, but did not make up for the rest. We will stick to VIP moving forward.

A great theatre to enjoy IMAX in Calgary. I usually frequent the Cineplex theatres but I was very much impressed by Landmark Cinemas. There is sufficient parking, the place is easy to find and the seats were so good. The automated recliner seats let you enjoy the movie. I was here to watch Oppenheimer and I had no complaints at all.

Great seats. Big and comfy with lots of room between you and your neighbor. New pop machine have it all. Every flavor imaginable, and even some I never thought of.

This used to be my favorite theatre, but the customer service has been leaving much to be desired as of late. The last few times we've visited, there have been TWO people working the concessions. The line up is long and two people are not enough to handle so many people. The pop machines are never all working. The lights are not on in the theatre, even when you show up 20+ minutes before the movie starts, which makes navigating the theatre next to impossible. The cherry on top, almost ALL the stalls in the women's washroom were out of toilet paper today. Seriously, prices are rising. Do better, Landmark. Do better!

I came here three weeks in a row. I buy my tickets online so I don't have to wait in line. But honestly the line for snacks takes way too long. And who doesn't want popcorn when going to the theatre? It's nice and clean here. The staff here is nice even when it gets so hectic on the weekend. But I will say, every time I come here the bathroom is dirty. There's stalls that aren't flushed, I guess it's not the staff's fault but it's disgusting. Oh and movies are getting way too pricey! But the seats are so comfortable here.

Got premium seats for the first time, and was so glad I did! To be able to put my feet up and have heated seats if I wanted was awesome! My 1st theatre movie since Covid and I loved it! Even had a cubby to put my purse in! The only blemish on the evening was that we were told the soft ice cream machine was down. ( Something contagious from McDonald's, perhaps? Theirs are generally "down " too).

Great seats and for the same price as other theaters in town. Love being able to select our own seats and ample space.

I love the reclining seats, it is a great viewing experience. However, knocking back some stars because the concession is sooo slow. Almost missed the start of the movie. Give yourself lots of time if you want food or drinks

The place was nice clean and smoothly organized. Nowadays vaccinations checks are done and quite reasonably crowded. I will definitely try to see my next movie with my family here.

A good theater. This was my first visit to a Landmark for Spiderman. I was happy with the reserved seating and reclining chairs. They are super comfy. Row E was a good spot to be able to sit and recline all the way. The concessions were quite busy, but that's to be expected on a Friday night. Thank you!

Overall one of the best theatres in Calgary. Plentiful parking space, excellent seating experience with recliners and large spacious auditoriums. Great selection of movies at all times with a nice balance of blockbuster and indie. Video and sound quality are both great in even the smaller rooms. Interior is kept quite clean with a lot of food choices as well as a few Coca Cola machines to self serve from (outside of Covid-19). There is also a decently sized arcade area. The movie-going experience is very pleasant in general. Highly recommended.

There is no social distancing in this theatre. You are sandwiched in, sharing armrests and no masks while eating or drinking. It is a true nightmare

This has become one of my favourite theatres in Calgary. The lobby is bright and airy, the staff have always been friendly and the seating is comfortable even in the IMAX auditorium (unlike a competing IMAX screen that still has older seating). Bonus: The popcorn Landmark uses is awesome! All in all, it's a great place to see a movie.

This was my first time back in a movie theater since the pandemic had started, and I was so impressed at what an amazingly safe and comfortable experience it was. Distanced seating with dividers made me feel not at all worried so i could just focus on enjoying my movie. Really appreciate all the hard work you folks have put in to bringing back the movie experience!

Excellent theater, been going since I was a child. I like their new pop machines with all the custom flavors. Only improvement I can suggest, is they don't always have salt available.

A great venue for movies and parties! Expressive snacks as is normal for a theaters and that's always a bummer. I know it's hard to keep a theatre clean because people are slobs it was typical sticky floor and popcorn on the floor. Not really the theaters fault more of a fault of society. Come on people try harder to find your mouth!

I came here for the first time today and bought Aquaman in Imax. Just as we entered the theater they informed us that the theater is damaged and they gave us a couple of complimentary tickets, but how is it possible that they sell a ticket two minutes before and do not notify The sellers that the theater does not work, they have zero internal communication, not happy with this, they wanted us to make the long line again without even at least making an exclusive line for those of us who had already made that line to at least change for another different movie

Easy access south and North entrances and parking area full if really Busy. At 615pm it was easy to park. Can park in other areas. Theatre was Busy but not crazy. Lots of staff working. Clean. Chairs are like large love seats with own control of reclining. Found chairs pretty big and a bit too sloped if you have a bad back. Seats are in good shape and ours worked fine. Sound and film quality great.

The best in Calgary. Recliner seat for the same or less prices than at other theatres. Good sound system. But one thing that I noted is that the side wall lights are kept on and the staff couldn't do anything when i checked

This used to be my favorite place to hang out with friends and watch movies, but not anymore. The place looks like it is slowly falling apart. There are no posters outside of individual screening halls, the theatre stinks, no proper ventilation, the seats are not clean, dried pop stains and hairs sticking to the seats. Also during the promos the screen was off, so we could only hear trailers not SEE them. The front doors to the theatre looks like they have been abused a LOT. I gave them 2 stars only for fond memories of the past and location. Wish they would improve. And last the LANDMARK sign could use some boost, looks lonely and sad by itself.

This location has the advantage of having more recliner equipped screens (minus IMAX) than any other cinema in town. Some of the flaws this theater includes are that the seats have shown cosmetic damage in screen 14 but are still functioning otherwise. The on-screen presentation at its core is solid, but select regular auditoriums (at least screen 3) have a touch of hazy projection.

Super comfy reclining seats, advanced tickets so you don't have to line up makes for a pleasant movie going experience. They do a great job cleaning between showings, I've never run into dirty seats or sticky floors here. The concession can get a bit busy with a lineup, so plan a few more minutes if you need to buy popcorn and snacks befofe your show.

They should have more than one line open for concessions....but then you need to hire more minimum wage employees instead of just having massive lines. Missed the start of the movie but the $50 popcorn was worth the wait. Chairs are super comfy though.

"is this the proper direction to the movie I'm going to see?" I ask the ticket checker, with 2 handfuls of drinks and food with a 5 year old in tow. "Ya" she says. She patiently waited until I put enough things down until she asks "what start time?" And then tells me that the movie is on the opposite side of the theatre. The whole place is dirty and unkempt. Several of their games are broken, but not broken enough to not take your money. The air hockey table was absolutely filthy. Aside from ONE staff, none of them were friendly and were obviously only there for the paycheque. Food was fast but subpar. Like one rung below gas station food. Only good thing I can say about this place is that the premiere seating was comfortable. But it better be for that price.

One of the most comfortable theaters I have been in with its oversized double recliners. Some nice simple options for food, hot dogs and pizza. Popcorn, soda, candy are also on the menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be making this our new go to theater.

Concession has been slacking since the pandemic. Nachos are always stale.

My son really enjoyed watching a movie here and had a blast!!!

This is nowhere near the same theatre you remember from 10 years ago. Looks very modern, NO CARPET ANYWHERE, and big comfortable leather reclining seats for the same price as a general ticket at Cineplex. What's not to love! My only complaint is that there's always only 2 maybe 3 of the 10 drink dispensers working at any given time. Why even invest in 10 if you won't use them? I had to find something to complain about for what is probably the nicest cinema in town ;)

This is a great theatre, always lots of options for showtimes and generally more options for movies than any other theatres in the area. The seats are comfy and they sanitize the auditoriums between showings since the pandemic started. There's usually very few people around and no time spent waiting.

This is the best theatre possible especially since COVID 19. I appreciate the honest, hardworking staff and clean facility. They always have the most showings of any theatre is seems. Great parking and location. Reasonable prices for admission!

Clean. BEST REAL popcorn and REAL BUTTER. I expressed additional butter charge ridiculous. Still he was polite and to get through me is a miracle handled by this young man. No name, but had a beard. EXCELLENT work.

My daughter and I always come here for our mommy daughter movie dates and have always had great experiences! The seats are so comfortable and the staff are always wonderful. The facility is always very clean. The snacks are great. This will always be our theater of choice!

Favourite theatre! They have the best seats, great staff, and prices are way cheaper than competitors. I will always go out of my way to go to landmark before any other theatre.

My favorite cinema. These seats are all lazy boy recliners and actually have arm rests on both sides for yourself. They have double seats where you can lift the middle arm rest and have a much bigger seat or cuddle with your partner. There is also separators between the double seats if you want for privacy and extra health precautions 😉

The men's bathroom was totally disgusting you know that smelled like his urine and you could tell it wasn't cleaned at all it looks from days. There is no social distance or dividers in the theater you're allowed to sit wherever I had people sit beside me and there was no divider where is the other landmark theaters I've been to head dividers this one didn't care about your health and safety. Will never come to this theater again!! Highly recommended go to a different one

Always a great cinema to go to and they have great precautions in place for COVID. However, I wouldn’t go for the IMAX choice for movies, because the sound is just way too loud then it should be.

This is my favourite theater. The reclining seats are so comfortable and very roomy. Love the soft drink machine that you can pick your own flavour and so many different options to choose from! Happy to be able to go back and see movies on the big screen, again.

Yes it has great seats and a good viewing experience. However, if you are concerned still about covid the website does not tell you correct information. Shang-Chi was completely packed with no measures for social distancing. The 1 and one hand sanitizer was before you get your tickets checked, and it was empty when we arrived. The seats were still sticky and popcorn in the seats. I was uncomfortable the entire time.

Very clean and food was good. Theater was cleaned and sanitized between each sowing which is awesome. They are doing their part in keeping everyone safe.

I have been twice to the country hills landmark location and is unbelievable how they don’t check tickets which allows a lot of people to sit in the empty seats left for social distancing, there is no one checking that seats has been left empty and people without tickets just sit on it, right in the next seat. I understand that they are understaffed, but if they cannot maintain the social distancing rules, they should close, I paid full price for a movie, I should get some sort of services and safety with it . I won’t comeback and I will report to AHS. The only reason that I went it was because the app atom details about of their empty seats in between customers. I want to support businesses , but not at my own health risk

It was fine. That’s all I’ll say. The chairs were comfortable I guess and the tickets were bought last minute so I didn’t get the seat that I wanted but other than that not too bad.

Went here for a cheap screening of Nightmare on Elm Street (I figured old movie, reserved seating and masks was a safe bet) and was impressed with the social distancing practices there.

Better than Cineplex in almost every way.

2 yrs ago, I wrote "Best cinema in Calgary. Great seats, and pre-assigned seating make it very convenient." I went and sat in Theater 9 Sept 2020 and the recliner seats have changed and don't recline as far as they used to and unfortunately are less comfortable. Similar to the less comfortable new Cineplex seats. I was disappointed.
