Irresponsible New Receptionists I’m already a patient of this clinic and was trying to schedule an appointment over the phone. My niece and I tried more than ten times for two days to speak with someone at the clinic but the calls were going either straight to voicemail or no one was answering. I thought something might be wrong or the clinic might be closed since the receptionist who I knew would answer the calls very responsibly. So my niece and I decided to go to the clinic to make an appointment. I made the last phone call before I go, but got the same result as of all the previous ones. Once I stepped into the clinic, I saw two new receptionists; I shared my experience about unsuccessful phone calls and asked whether something is wrong with their phone line. They said negligently that they are too busy to answer the phone calls! I looked around; no patient was in the room and the two receptionists were talking with one another when I entered the clinic. They did not seem to be too busy to answer one of my calls over the course of these two days! My niece and I took time out of a working day to make a trip to the clinic for making an appointment - something that should have been easily done by a phone call. The receptionists’ approach was very disrespectful and demonstrated how irresponsible they are towards the clinic’s patients.

I have been struggling with my veins for most of my adult life. I had visited another vein treatment center prior to my pregnancies and was slightly put off by their business like attitude. When I was referred to The Vein Treatment Centre, I was worried that I would be let down by the same business like attitude. After having multiple appointments here, I have been extremely satisfied with the service and attention I have received. The staff are all very professional, and courteous and really do make you feel so very comfortable. I can honestly say that Dr. Greg and his wonderful team of nurses have changed my life and how I look and feel in my body. I cannot put into words how grateful I am after having had treatment at this clinic and I would recommend The Vein Treatment Centre to anyone who needs help with their veins.

Everyone I’ve met at the Vein Treatment Centre has been professional and welcoming and I’m happy with the results of my treatments. Susan Green, the clinic manager, was particularly adept at assessing and hearing my concerns. She easily put my fears to rest and I’d recommend the Vein Treatment Centre to anyone!

Great dr and nurses here, I’ve been to a few different clinics in the city that deal with vein issues and this one is definitely the best.

I had Botox done by the nurse Candace, and loved my results! She had a lot of attention to detail and made me feel comfortable. She followed up with me a week later to make sure everything was still good. I would highly recommend going to see her if you are thinking about getting it done!

The staff at The Vein Treatment Centre go out of their way to help you with your needs and, just as importantly, to fully understand them. Dr. Gregg and the team of expert doctors and nurses are highly knowledgeable, kind and patient-focused. I can’t say enough good things about the folks at this clinic.

Customer comments: I recently was treated at The Vein Treatment Centre in Calgary. The doctors, Dr. Matt Muirhead, Dr. F. Ollewagen, and Dr. Sean Gregg all did procedures on my legs. Dr. Muirhead did Endovenous Laser Ablation on my right leg. Dr. Ollewagen and Dr. Gregg both did Ultrasound Sclerotherapy on my left leg. These doctors are excellent surgeons who go above and beyond for their patients. I began treatment at the clinic in 2021 and returned again this year for their skill and their expertise in their field. I would highly recommend this establishment for any vein issues.

DANGEROUS experience with this clinic. After the 3rd injection of my varicose vein, I got WORST side effect "nerve damage" which cause my right leg burning and tingling severely until I must walk with crutches. The tingling and extreme painful burning sensation on my right calf occurs every time I stands up only about 40 sec (forty seconds) so I must sit down again & again. I can NOT drive and can NOT do my daily activities. The injection that goes into my blood vessels circulates and affects everything in my body including my nerves. My family physician told me that the nerve damage (because of the varicose vein injection ) will recover for MONTHS !!!!!!!!!. So terrible and horrible !!!!!!. For many months ahead I will suffer a lot and Douglas Hill Clinic does not care about the grave consequences I have as their patient/victim. Also since the injection, I get skin rash and itch especially at night, they are really disturb my sleep and harm my health. I regret deeply Dr. Sheena Christy ( Pinnacle Medical Centers - Beddington Calgary) sent and gave me referral to this clinic.

It has been a while since I have been here, but my experience was nothing but positive. I had many appointments and most were on time. All of the staff are extremely friendly, and I loved the atmosphere - always happy. There would be lots of cross talk between the staff during my treatments and at first I found it disconcerting, but it was always light hearted stuff and I came to enjoy it. Sometimes I even added my two cents worth. I got the feeling that the staff enjoyed coming to work every morning.

Very bad customer service and attitude from the receptionist. I wanted to buy stockings as my doctor prescribed it. She wasn't helpful at all, put me on hold like 3 times and hung up on me. I had to call back and asked if I can pick up the stockings, which is what I need after my surgeries. She said yes, until 4.30 pm. On the website it says the office closes at 5 pm ( I get off from work 4.30). Her reply was for that they are closing at 4.30 pm and she isn't getting paid for waiting around for me to show up. I am truly disappointed and I didn't even end up buying anything.

Had such an amazing experience at this clinic! I had a treatment done by Rana and was very pleased. I highly recommend seeing her for botox and filler!

I have had an amazing experience during my vein treatment at this clinic. The doc was lovely and took great care of me. Holly, the nurse who did my injections, was so good at answering my questions and putting me at ease. She was extremely gentle and talked me through the entire process. I really appreciated their professionalism and ability to make my experience a good one. My results have been great and I would definitely recommend my friends and family.

The team at the Vein Treatment are professional , efficient and friendly . This includes everyone from the front office staff, ultrasound tech (siama) , nursing assistant (maya) and Dr Gregg. The staff take their time to explain options with grace understanding and some humour thrown in. Highly recommend this clinic.

I searched for YEARS for a clinic that had the expertise and technology to treat my under eye peri-orbital veins. I had a same-day consultation and treatment with Holly. Amazing experience and knowledgeable staff!

I've had a few sclerotherapy treatments performed here last year and was 100% satisfied with my results and the staff who performed them. Eveything was explained to me in detail and I felt complete trust in the doctors and injectionists. Although there were issues initially with reception booking the wrong procedure and also being directed to the wrong treatment room on another occasion, these problems were quickly resolved. Mistakes happen, but they were quick to rectify them, which I think speaks volumes about how they run their business.

Wonderful from start to finish. Jeff was my ultrasound tech and he was so helpful explaining the steps during the ultrasound. Really nice reception staff (names?) Highly recommended.

When I booked the appointment for some of the concerns I had, the front reception made me feel so comfortable and made sure that all my concerns were spoken about even before I came - not only was I impressed but also felt so important to receive priority care. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was greeted with smiles. My overall appointment was so amazing and Dr.Hill has a very kind, gentle approach which is great for anyone who has a little bit of anxiety when it comes to treatment. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming here for further treatment!

I saw NP Maya for a spider vein on my cheek. She was friendly, professional and thorough. I felt comfortable with her right away. She explained the procedure really well including the type of laser she would use, what to expect during treatment, the healing process and aftercare instructions. It was a stubborn vein and I went back for 2 more treatments. She was so patient during the process. I would recommend her to anyone for your skin care needs. She's lovely and definitely goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best outcome and experience.

My wife had an appointment and it was nice to go to go to the vein centre. The reception was super nice to welcome us. My wife was long waiting for her vain treatment and I know she is in the right place . They have a highly trained team experienced in the treatment of varicose and spider veins, along with cosmetic treatments. They have 30 years of experience as I saw in the website. My wife and I recommend this place for treatment of vein.

I'm IMPRESSED!!! I absolutely love this clinic! Dr Hill is such a kind and gentle soul. I really like the staff as well. They were very friendly. I have been to many clinics and I must say, this one is the best. Also the prices are much more reasonable than the other clinics that have been to. My results were great.

I was very looking forward to being a patient if this clinic but trying to book an appointment turned into not very positive experience. First, on the website there’s a link to book an appt. upon filling the form I got an email asking to call. Alright, I called, and a few days later I got a call saying they need to reschedule me as the doctor is off that day. Fine, things happen, we rescheduled, I adjusted my schedule, made plans, got a call again today, saying they have to reschedule me again as the center is closed on the day of my appt. I’m sorry guys, but I cannot keep making changes to my schedule, I’ll have to go with another clinic. It’s not my fault the center is closed on the date you offered and if you have to reschedule, simple “sorry for the trouble” would be nice.

The staff was very thorough, professional and friendly. They clearly explained each step of my assessment and provided the various options to me. I was able to have a treatment immediately following the assessment, which was great! I would definitely recommend The Vein Treatment Centre to my friends and family.

Brutal communication amongst the entire staff. I was not given proper communication prior to my procedures as well as after my procedures which led to a very long recovery that is still going on. I’m not sure who I can trust. I do not recommend this clinic. There are significant changes that need to be made to ensure everyone is safe.

On my first 2 visits I was left waiting for around an hour. On my second visit, when I was due to have treatment, I was told that I would have to come back as they didn’t have the necessary eye protection. They had also lost my file and had no idea why I was there. On my 3rd visit the man treating my face with the laser said that he was guessing as to where to treat as he couldn’t properly see the veins (my veins are VERY visible) so I can only assume that his eyesight is not good enough to be performing laser treatments. He also completely missed the vein that bothered me most and that I had mentioned at least 3 times. The treatment had absolutely no effect so this was a complete waste of my time and money.
