I recently took my cat Scooter to this clinic and had a fantastic experience. Dr. Joe was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but he was also very gentle and patient with Scooter. He took the time to thoroughly examine my cat and address all of my questions. I can tell that he genuinely cares about the well-being of his furry patients. The clinic itself was immaculate - very modern and the staff is very friendly. Five stars without a doubt!

If there was more than 5 stars to give they would have it. We recently changed our vet to this one and it was the best decision. I felt very save and comfortable bringing my little puppy here! It’s very clean and welcoming! The staff are amazing and the vet was full of amazing tips and information! The clinic is super cute and clean, felt welcoming. After having a mishap with some shampoo and a rash, she reassured us that his breed was very hypersensitive and will react to anything. Felt like a safe place to ask any question we had and she was full of amazing information and tips for us! She explained everything that she was doing without us asking and it felt reassuring that he was well looked after! They are very transparent with their pricing and affordable. Would recommend to everyone!

Love working with Fleur! Have had amazing experiences both with the veterinarians, veterinary techs and front desk staff! All are lovely people. I have two dogs big and little both are mutts and they provide realistic guidance and information for owners that match their lifestyle!

The landslide of five-star reviews do not lie. The admin team at this clinic is friendly, efficient and excellent w/ general communications, providing instructions and timely medication orders. My cats and I have traveled extensively, and thus, we have seen our fair share of veterinarians. I must say, Dr. Joe's manner and approach with animals is incomparable to any other vet we have ever visited and he has a wonderful sense of humour and is very personable. My cats were so relaxed that they were actually able to down a few treats during their visit (first time ever!) and they hardly made a peep during their checkups. They usually get riled up when their teeth are being checked and of course, when they have to get shots, but Dr. Joe was able to accomplish these tasks so gently that my cats didn't kick up a fuss at all. Dr. Joe took his time w/ us during the visit and he made sure that all of my questions were answered and that all concerns were addressed. To add, it was obvious to me that Dr. Joe's priority was to provide the best treatment plan for my cats, while also keeping things as economically sound as possible for me, the pet owner. There was absolutely no "hard selling" happening here! Regarding parking, there is reserved parking for the clinic behind the building so if your concerns about this "downtown" clinic is about parking, no worries. Parking is a cinch. To wrap up this review, our visit was so pleasant and refreshing in a sense that I am grateful to know that there are still service providers like this out there.

If you want to know where the best animal clinic is in the city? It's the Animal Clinic on 9th! Let me tell you the staff here is amazing! The veterinarians as well are awesome. My dog is always so scared when he comes here but the Doctors and staff make him feel so welcome. Their prices are super competitive and they are always super upfront about treatment options. I don't have enough good things to say about the clinic. My dog has been coming here since his first vaccinations.

My family has been trusting this clinic for the past 25+ years (most of my life). In those years we have TRUSTED them to take care of 3 golden retrievers, and 4 acreage loving cats 2 which enjoy getting into trouble. We have the choice to travel a lot shorter distance to other clinics, but the long history of trust, care, professionalism, reliability, knowledge...I can keep going, out ways a convenient quick trip. They are always responsive when I encounter concerns with my current pets, and never put those concerns on hold. What is greatly appreciated they will and always have followed up couple days after an appointment to see how the pets are doing, which helps me be at ease. If I was able to provide more stars then 5 I would, and will never hesitate attending this clinic with my pets in the future. Thank you for 25 years+ of care and many more to go! From. Our former vet retired and so we went on a hunt for a new one and luckily found one that's very close to home and excellent. Dr Joe is a treasure and our cat likes him too. He is realistic in his treatment plans and I never feel rushed. Dr Fleur was so helpful in providing advice and reassuring us by phone when we woke up to a box of half eaten chocolates on the floor courtesy of our cat. (he was fine!). The team is friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend this clinic!

Check ups for our pup, Mochi are always a breeze. Dr. Bennet is truly amazing and personable, and you can tell she really loves animals. The staff at the front are so extremely sweet and welcoming as well. Thank you always for a nice experience for our doggie!!

We have been taking our fur babies to the clinic since 2001 and even when we moved out of downtown to the deep NE we still take are current 2 cats to the Animal Clinic because the vets are great they always provide the care needed, explain everything to us making it a relaxing and comforting visit every time. Super thorough and professional veterinarian clinic. We brought in our puppy for a routine check up and vaccines and we were blown away with how caring, compassionate and knowledgeable the vet was. Really great experience I'd highly reccomend this clinic to other pet parents.

They got my cat in within four hours during some of their busiest times. And I was a new patient. Decent prices. Honest workers. And the Dr. Didn't push for crazy tests and meds that he knew I couldn't afford. All honorable stuff in my books. Happy to have a new clinic.

I brought my elderly cat here after a bad experience at a different vet. Everyone was so kind and I got the feeling that the vet here really loves and cares about cats. He was very knowledgeable and made both of us feel very comfortable and I'd happily take my old boy back again.

I have never been to a vet that has been so gentle towards my cat - they really understand cats here and really care. Thank you to Dr Fleur and staff - I have a cat who has attacked every single vet I’ve been to before coming here, making visits stressful for both of us. They are so wonderful with him that he’s not had an incident once since I’ve come to this vet - in fact he’s been calm the entire time. I’m amazed and so thankful. They’re not only great to cats but also to the owners, very honest and follow up on care. Always on time and give you and your cat time to settle into the examination room when you arrive. Dr. Emma was thorough in her examination of our Australian Shepherd and she loves animals. This vet office is located right downtown in Calgary and it’s so convenient —there is ample parking right out front on both sides of the street. The Animal Clinic staff is polite, helpful, kind and efficient. This is definitely our Calgary vet. I highly recommend.

My little girl has been a patient for a few years now and just had dental surgery. Going into the surgery we were very anxious as she is a very fearful dog and every time we visit the vet for her checkups she presents with a slight heart murmur which left us unsure about whether the risk was worth it. Every single question we asked was answered honestly and thoroughly, and they did a great job explaining what would occur during the surgery. Surgery day, drop off was great and they kept us informed throughout the day with how it was going and how she was doing. She is now recovering and doing really well. They took great care of my little girl who is now 13 teeth lighter.

I was able to get in the next day and was so pleased with the service I received here! Very thorough and I felt like they really cared about my kitty willow. The vet took her time and I didn’t feel as if I was just another appointment to them! The front desk staff was also lovely. I am sad I won’t be able to come back because I’m moving provinces, but if you’re reading this there is a reason this place has 500+ 5 star reviews. Would recommend if you’re looking for a vet who actually cares about your animals!

I was searching for a new vet as my last one just seemed to give medication. The vet was so friendly and made my kitty feel like she was the cutest. The doctor was so gentle and provided me with so much knowledge as I was a new pet owner. Definitely a great place that provides confidence and they care about our pockets as well! Highly recommend! This is an exceptional animal clinic. I brought my new kitten in for her shots after having to put my previous cat down at another clinic a couple weeks before, and Dr. Joe was incredibly kind. He asked questions about my other cats Illness and provided insight, which made me feel a lot better about having to put her down. He was great with my new kitten, very gentle and thorough. You can tell how much he cares for animals. My parents also go to Dr. Joe, and have always had very positive interactions and experiences. The front desk staff were also very warm and friendly, and called to check in on my kitten after her appointments, which was really nice because I know how busy they are. I would highly recommend this clinic, and especially Dr. Joe.

Dr Joe and the whole staff at Animal Clinic are absolutely wonderful. They provide such great care to our dog Millie. She is a curious pup and has gotten herself into a few situations that have required urgent visits to the vet. Recently, we suspected she had some foxtails embedded in her paw and Dr Joe gave us clear instructions of what to look for at home and we were able to work together to locate the signs, and bring her in for a surgery to have the foxtail removed. I always feel like Millie is in good care at Animal Clinic. Thank you to the whole staff for your kindness and care.

I take my cat and dog here and the veterinary technicians, assistants, and the vet are all incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I first took my cat there and loved them; so wanted to take our rescue dog there as well when we were having issues with our rescue denying veterinary care. This clinic took such amazing care of our dog, addressed our concerns, and went above and beyond to ensure our dog was healthy and okay. When we were worried about her having a UTI they rushed a urine sample test to ensure she was okay. They’re absolutely amazing. I’m so grateful for Dr.Joe and his team. If you’re looking for a vet to take your animal to I cannot recommend this place enough.

Wonderful vet clinic. I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. After my cat died at another vet getting anaesthesia for a spay, I was understandably anxious about veterinarian care. These vets have been so good at taking the time to talk with me, and I feel my cats are in excellent hands!

The vets and staff at Animal Clinic are amazing and take such great care of my dog. My little guy had some stomach problems on and off for months, and Dr. Joe went out of his way to help, and Dr. Fleur was very patient with my explaining options and next steps. We have him on a special diet now and he’s doing great! The staff are always so kind and helpful with questions and I feel very confident taking my dog here. My dog doesn’t get nervous or scared going there and he loves Dr. Fleur. Their rates are super reasonable and it’s in a convenient location with parking. Love it here!
