I love, love, love this store! And so do my dogs 🐾 We stopped in this afternoon to purchase some treats, and were immediately greeted by the friendliest people! The store is beautiful, and stocked with the cutest toys, beds, leashes, treats, and basically everything one could buy to spoil their fur-kids! My babies received treats from the kindest lady, who also helped me select the right snacks for my babies. We left with a few bags of treats and some adorable stuffed toys. My pups are overjoyed with their haul! Many thanks to the staff at The New Forest for making our visit so enjoyable! We look forward to shopping here again soon 😊

Super cute shop that makes it hard not to spoil your pets. Was a little disappointed we couldn’t get a couple items due to no stock and not being able to fit the floor model in our car for being already assembled but it happens. Will be back

This is a very cute boutique pet store that primarily sells dog and cat gear and toys. The price point probably won’t be for everyone but all of the items are beautiful and well made. If you are someone who really likes to spoil your pet and yourself with adorable stuffed toys, elegant dishes, and chic collars this is your place.

This is my favourite pet store in town! Before you even step in, you'll find so many dog lovers willing to play with your pup in Kensington and then you get to meet the wonderful owners Jen & Neil! My dog loves being showered in attention while he gets to pick out his new favourite toy in the shop. We never leave empty handed, there's always at least a treat! Don't let the fancy decor fool you, the prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. We find that every-day items like a bag of treats are maybe $1-2 more than the treats from the big retail stores, but the ingredients are much simpler and cleaner. There's lots of high-quality goods that look great and are made really well. We've bought beds, leashes, collars, toys, jackets, and treats, and everything has exceeded our expectations. Love coming here! The New Forest is an absolute gem for pet lovers! This small and chic pet boutique is a true paradise for our furry friends. The selection of products is fantastic and it's evident that they care deeply about the well-being of our furry friends. My little dachshund and I are obsessed with this store! Jen and Neil are the nicest people, and really care for both their products and costumers. My dog is naturally anxious around strangers, but she looks forward to, every week, heading into the store for a little treat and to say hi to Jen and Neil. Their products are always exceptional, especially their jackets, which are long enough for my little weiner dog. I seriously can’t say enough good things about this store :).

Outstanding Product Selection and Customer Service. Jen and Neil provide high quality products at reasonable prices and are exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. We always find the best stuff at this little gem of a shop. The owners are amazing and know my pup Poppie by name. Whenever we come in, we always find something fun to take home. They carry a range of products and brands I've not been able to find anywhere else in town. Big Fans :)

We love this pet store. The owners are always so friendly. They have the most fabulous finds. All the items in store are high quality and made to last. The toys particularly are indestructible. The jackets and boots are so fashionable that people are always asking me where they're from.

Great small business with lovely owners. The leash and collar that we bought a year and a half ago are very well made and going strong (which is saying a lot with our strong and ‘willful’ 55lb dog).

I absolutely love this shop - they always have a new assortment of things for both cats and dogs. The shop itself is beautiful, and is always a treat to walk around. The folks who work there are incredibly welcoming, and always take the time to say hello. Truly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

I really love the concept but it was super disappointing when I walked in with my dog and the dark haired lady behind the counter looked at us and said “oh, thats $150 dollars”... why say that, I still bought it but I felt so judged.

What an outstanding shop! Unique product offering, gorgeous space, and such friendly staff. Look forward to many more visits in the future (and I know my little Billie Dog does too)!

This is my new favourite pet store, an opinion you will surely share once you visit. The owners (I believe they run the store) are lovely, the products are very high quality and the cats toys are the only ones my cat will play with. I also appreciate they try to support local or Canadian products, while I was there they shared they had to support a young girl of 18 who just started making cat toys out of Vancouver I believe. Who we choose to support in business is everything these days, and I know I can trust that my values are shared in supporting this amazing local business. Thank you for the great experience, and I of course will be back regularly. <3

Such a neat place! I went crazy buying toys and treats for my dogs and cats. Everything was so cute! I'll definitely be coming back :)

You will want to shop here even if you don’t have a dog or cat! Such a cool place filled with interesting high quality products. My two dogs now have the best dog beds, collars and leashes, stuffed toys and food and water dishes. Owner owned and operated this gem is a must visit when in the Kensington shopping district.
