Our 2 year old dog got the best grooming of his life from Lisa. Super friendly, super professional and amazing skill set. Catherine has certainly put together an amazing team and they are always there for their clients. She partners up with other local businesses and puts on amazing events like the Halloween Pup Crawl!!! We are truly lucky to have them

My senior mother went here on foot to buy pet food for her dog. She asked for a small bag because she couldn't carry a large bag. Instead, the Pet Planet employee helped her buy the more cost-effective bag, and the employee walked my mom home! Amazing service, I really appreciate it.

My go to place for my two dogs’ food and related items. Very knowledgeable staff and, just as important, very warm and welcoming staff. I always enjoy stopping by to get what I need. They also discount any bagged dry kibble that is nearing its expiry date, which is not something all pet food vendors do. Great place. Highly recommended!

Miss Bella loves going to the store to visit the ambassadors (Briar and crew) and the delicious treats. Catherine and her team are Professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Awesome 1st Experience...on line acct setup & order...easy process and great to deal when I called with questions. Did same day delivery, even though I didn't place my order until 11am ...will definitely be back... You just can't go wrong with these guys! From the owner to the staff they constantly going out of their way to give great service... These guys never cease to amaze me with the tremendous lengths they go to make sure they get what you need. No other pet store in the area even comes close to this team IMO.

I have to say, I just love this place. The customer service I have experienced there over the past six years is amazing. They have a wonderful selection, and they are always so quick to offer genuine advice on their products. When I called this morning to see if they had my dogs brand of food and to see whether or not someone would be at the store to carry it out to my car for me the owner offered to deliver it herself! Not only that, but it was a free bag and I still didn’t get charged for delivery. Just amazing!

We had such a great experience today with the cat groomer Lisa! Our cats who aren't always good with grooming/the vet apparently were very good - Lisa seemed to have an instant touch with them! Both our cats are arthritic and very sensitive to being handled by strangers so it's really quite a feat that they were so well behaved for her. Anyone frustrated with most local cat groomers being too busy to take on new clients should go here!

The only place I go to to have my dogs nails cut and his coat groomed. Lisa C. is kind, caring, and very good at her job I happen to know she has won awards for grooming. The staff of PP are always helpful smiling and welcoming. I have been introduced to some excellent snacks for my dog, Calgary made too!! Love this shop and go out of my way to shop there.

I love this store! The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful, they have a large variety of treats, toys and raw food for my pups to enjoy, and offer delivery when I am unable to make it in in person. If you haven't yet, I definitely suggest trying the self wash for your pups bath time!

I had been looking for a groomer who I could stick with long term and that's when I found Lisa, the pet stylist! She 100% loves dogs and in return my dogs 100% love her back. She works with her daughter who the dogs love as well. This morning I told them "grooming", we walked out the door and they ran straight to the car and were absolutely pumped. She's very generous, hard working and knowledgable. The store is in excellent shape as well, fully stocked with the best toys and food. two thumbs us for me. Thank You

I don't intend to stop at Pet Planet everyday but my walking buddy insists we must. The team at the store are always delighted when we pop in. They have a great selection of products and I especially appreciate their zero waste options, like the buffet of treats that I fill my own bag with. Great addition to our community!

Popped into Pet Planet in Kensington today, with my two elderly chihuahuas, who were in their puppy stroller. The store was well-stocked, organized, clean, and staffed by the sweetest lady! The Sales Associate offered treats to my fur-kids, one of which gobbled them right up, while the other was too shy to immediately enjoy the snack (she later ate the delicious treats!) I purchased some treats and dishes, and left the store with a happy heart - and happy dogs 🐾 I love shopping at this Pet Planet location - it's always such a joyful experience 😊

I recommend Pet Planet Kensington to everyone. To be honest, Catherine was more helpful in finding a pet food that worked for my senior dog than any vet. What you feed your dog truly matters and Pet Planet has the best selection and knowledgeable staff!

My favorite place to shop for pet supplies. The ladies are friendly and very knowledgeable. Our dog loves stopping there on our walks, he's basically pulling us through the door. Definitely recommend this store!

I popped in quick to see if someone could trim my boy's nails quick... excellent service! Lisa has groomed my dog before back home in Edmonton before she moved away. Imagine my surprise meeting her here again in Calgary! She is so wonderful with dogs, and an absolute joy. Highly recommend her quality work (my floofy boy looked incredible when she worked with him), and I'm considering another YYC visit just to get Bandit groomed. The other staff member in the shop was incredibly helpful and lovely as well (although I didn't get her name - thank you for the great conversation). Do yourself a favor and visit this locally owned Alberta business!

Our Max has allergies to a lot of food, with the help of there knowledgeable staff and the variety of quality food and treats. We no longer see him fatigued and has a lively life ahead. Oh and he looks awesome in the matching harness, collar and leash from the store.

I recently began shopping at the Kensington location after shopping at Beddington for years, I must say that both locations are wonderful and well stocked! The Kensington location has a very welcoming air about it, with knowledgeable and patient staff, that are easy to talk to and take the time to provide information about even the most obvious of questions! Prices are affordable and unlike other pet shops they sell quality without trying to upsell you on anything you don't need. I wholeheartedly recommend becoming a regular at your local Pet Planet, as they have discounts and free bags of food if you purchase often enough. Thank you to all the staff for helping me and my fur baby Johnny find the best food, toys and more! Best nip dealers in the city!

We brought our 1 1/2 year old bernedoodle to Lisa for grooming yesterday and it is hands-down the best groom we’ve ever had. She takes so much pride in her work and is very thorough and professional. This is the first time our boy has come out of grooming still looking like himself! Highly recommend.
