It's normally a good location, but after the past few pickups, I'm not impressed. Direction not followed at all. Skimpy vegetables, in some cases none at all, extra vegetables not even in the dishes and paid for extra sauces that were so small it was laughable. Don't know if this is a new staff issue or what, but this location keeps shorting our orders.

Ordered from Ubereats. Well I’ve never been this store before but it’s Edo Japan so thought everything should’ve been the same way with other locations. I’m a big fan of Edo’s chicken chopchop bowl with rice, so I’ve tried from many different locations but the one from here was the worst so far. They just threw carrot sticks in the bowl, haven’t even chopped properly and just looked like random leftover pieces. Cucumber was very big chunk of pieces too but at least they were chopped. I was trying to take off all “carrot sticks” from it and got so tired and lost my appetite. Whole bowl was like full of random chunk of veggies . I hope they didn’t reuse leftover or something. I’d rather find a closest different location for sure.

Instead of pearls they’ve put some jellies. And they can’t do less ice probably because they’re saving on green tea? This is how much ice is left after I finished the drink. A little care about the customers would be great.

Ordered beef bento box with double meat, two sides of edamame and three teriyaki sauce. What I got was beef bento box with normal amount of meat, no salt on my edamame and one scoop teriyaki at best. So it tasted bland and was ripped off 5 bucks. Don’t go here.

I am Uber eats delivery driver. One of the employee works at front is very rude, unprofessional, loud. No customer service skills. I feel sorry for that employee. I don’t know the name of that employee otherwise I will mention it here. He takes Uber eats orders. He is full of bad attitude and arrogant . Please teach your staff to be polite with delivery drivers. Also he gave me bad rating that I misbehaved with him but instead he was so unprofessional with me . I think he is in wrong profession or he don’t like to work there. Something wrong with him for sure. Please be careful from these kind of employees because these employees are affecting your reputation in market. Thanks

Update: I am so glad I gave this outlet another chance. I have been back several times and tried the wraps, Bento boxes and Chop Chop bowls and all have been delicious every time. I am so happy that Edo Japan is back to its high standards - thank you! I was so excited about an Edo Japan opening near me but I was sadly disappointed. Both times I ordered the food did not taste fresh at all. The chicken vegatable soup had tiny pieces of chicken like bacon bits, little tiny vegetables and a few noodles for $11.00. The rice rolls the second time were not fresh and the shrimp in some was the shrimp tail. Very disappointing. And the staff was rude - not a good experience

The food was fresh and the service was great. I love edo, but today the service was really fantastic. The only problem is nobody wore name tags. The reason that’s a problem is I’d like to give an extra big shout out to the girl working at 6pm on Tuesday, November 30th. She’s a gem.

Whoever answered the call today had poor English and made ordering a challenge. We ordered one rice base and one soba base and they gave us rice and udon. I’m allergic.

Very quick service. They were very generous with the teriyaki sauce, felt more than 2 scoops, but that made it so much tastier.

This may be ok for those who want to grab a quick bite but not enjoy it. The rolls were very small and the rice was undercooked. We ate everything just because we were very hungry. Also, the ginger was placed on top of soy sauce packets, which can have a bunch of all sorts of unhealthy bacteria on it. it even wasn't delivery

3 different times so so rude. Customer service is terrible. I have seen them so rude to delivery drivers. It happened to me. They go and give you bad ratings. Drivers are helping their business. A lot of drivers hate to go there. They act like haters. Never happy or smiling. Terrible restaurant. I bought food also, terrible and I would never again.

Absolutely gross, dry and cold sushi Part of them were not even supposed to end up in customer’s plate , literally leftover ends I don’t have high end kitchen expectations for fast food , but at least keep some standards please.

So glad there is a location right on 17th. Open late and have daily specials! Great staff easy to order and to up portions are 👍👍 Check it out!

place is very clean, food came out fast, staff are super nice! the area was modern and nice, bathrooms were very well taken care of!

I love eating at Edo, but this location is by far my favourite in the city! The workers always have a smile, and are so kind. The food is always hot and delicious!!!

Consistent quality with any other Edo Japan location. Service was friendly and the food was prepared quickly. This location features a cozy seating area by the front window where you can watch the happenings on 17th Ave (aka the "red mile").

The food is good I would like to go again for sure..

Doesn't know the difference between rice and noodles - Thursday December 2nd, 2021 6:00pm

Got the Chicken and Beef Noodleful tonight. Although reasonably tasty, the portion size was pretty small for the price, and there really wasn't much meat. They get one extra star because they kindly consented to substitute mushrooms for the bok choy.

Good location. The service was friendly and the food was good. I'll be back here a lot!

I was excited that an Edo was opening up near me. Always been a fan. It was ok. Not horrible by any means but not great. Staff was very friendly. But I think I'll go back to supporting Hana Sushi and the more mom and pop businesses in the area. I'm sure Edo will be just fine without me. Welcome to the neighbourhood.

Ordering a lot from here during the pandemic. For the most part the food has been perfectly prepared and tasty. Unlike other Edo's these guys are usually very consistent.

I love edo Japan considering I was visiting from Toronto. I had it tons of times in banff. However, this location they skimped heavily on the quantity. Very small salmon portion and there was literally just 4 mushroom pieces. Hate this location, considering this was my only meal before a 5 hour flight.

An amazing staff and company! The food is great but the care for their customers is second to none!! Thank you very much!
