Global pet foods carry LOCAL products. Check out their MADE IN CANADA harnesses, leashes etc. Much of their pet food is locally made also. In particular, we like the ACANA brand, MADE IN ALBERTA. This is a high protein blend balanced with fruit and vegetables. If your pet seems to have gluten issues, this is a great food to try.

Upset with the exchange policy. I spend a good amount of money since I moved here but that doesn't matter. Bought a damaged item which ruined and contacted the store and was told unfortunately they can't do anything about it. Final sale means final sale apparently even if they sell you damaged product. A customer would not buy damaged products if that's the case. Will advise everyone not to go to this location going forward.

Friendly and helpful staff. Will always support the neighborhood businesses and their prices are better than the big chain stores...win-win!

The staff here are awesome! Always super friendly and helpful. I know I'll be able to get help with the heavy items when I shop here. Good selection of items for my rabbit, including oxbow hay and pellets, chew toys, and pine litter pellets.

Took my puppy here after her grooming appointment next door. The girl working here was very nice to my pup and I. She is very knowledgeable and it was overall a great experience! We’ll be back soon.

Very good 1st experience with well informed & helpful staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Its also great they are located between my Vet & Groomer, so it really is one stop shopping....

My partner mentioned that when clerk made the transaction she did swipe her areo plan card and even though it was out and ready at time of purchase. She asked if they could fix/ cancel/redo....the clerk said for 2 miles? I'm sure my partner will continue get our pets food and treats there even though it imbarrassed her to have been asked if the 2 miles was worth the time of that clerk to change thier mistake. Maybe I'm old and cranky but I find it's more about what the amount of money this person sends over 6 or 7 years feeding 3 dogs let alone driving across town to get there. There is 4 or 5 pet food stores closer. Sorry for rant ...

This location is a cute small franchise. They all are different and carry different foods. Staff is really nice and helpful. They also carry some food that other stores don't.

I absolutely love this store. They treat my dogs so well... Always seem excited to see them and give them treats. Their prices are fair, they selection is great and they carry my purchases out to my car. They just generally offer great service. They also do a pretty good job with their social media.. Keeping engaged with their customers and offering contests and specials.

I love our pet store, it's so much more than just where we buy food! They are family owned, and I love supporting Calgary owned business! They have an amazing selection of quality foods, and all staff are very educated on pet nutrition. They also donated food when we fostered kittens, and have helped out with a fundraiser we are putting on for a cat rescue. They truly care about giving back and I am so grateful we found them!

The only place I will go for my cats and dog. They know what they are talking about, and are so helpful with all their knowledge. Their compassion is also what makes them special.

My favourite little pet store. Fantastic staff, good prices, and they take Air Miles. They often have in store events and raise money for worthy charities. Selection can be limited due to the space they have, but if they can get it, they will order it in for you. They are obviously pet friendly, so bring in your puppers for some socialization, I always enjoy meeting new animals whenever I visit.

Great selection and great prices too. Friendly staff and knowledgeable about the products they sell. I actually shop mostly at the airdrie location and had a coupon for, what was supposed to be for the airdie store only. The lady working was nice enough to call the boss and they were willing to accept the coupon instead of waiting to go to airdrie next time to use it. That was above and beyond, in my books. Would recommend shopping here

Hands down the best pet store in the city. I was greeted warmly by everyone who works there. Most importantly I was helped with my specific pet needs of finding probiotics and pet food (I have some picky animals). Not is only is the staff knowledgable, Global Pets Foods has the best biologically diverse pet foods in the city. AND the pro/prebiotics are the best I have ever used for my cat with digestive issues.

Had our dog groomed there, very fast and professional service. The lady that grooms the dogs is very pleasant to talk to.

The cat only eats the frozen raw food from here. Must be some kind of Carnivore!
