Walking
distance
of
a
secluded
beach.
The
closest
beach
is
open
sea
with
agitated
surf
and
some
current.
It
is
close
to
the
Vilas
do
Atlântico
Beach,
with
nice
beach
bars
and
restaurants.
It
is
also
half
the
way
between
Salvador
and
Praia
do
Forte.
The
hotel
is
inside
a
gated
community,
with
some
annoying
work
to
pass
the
security
check
points
to
get
in
and
out
the
gates.
It
is
far
away
from
Salvador
main
attractions,
with
terrible
traffic
during
weekdays.
The
hotel
facility
needs
more
attention
to
the
maintenance.
We
had
to
swap
rooms
3
times
before
finding
a
room
without
a
licking
in
the
bathroom
and
with
a
working
air
conditioning.
We
gave
up
looking
for
the
perfect
room
and
slept
in
one
which
the
air
conditioning
didn't
turn
off.
We
woke
up
in
the
middle
of
the
night
in
an
freezing
Chamber.
I
complained
next
day
with
no
action
from
the
maintenance
at
all.
We
had
to
turn
the
unit
off
before
going
to
bed,
to
not
have
hipotermia.
The
bed
was
totally
disappointing.
Pour
and
ripped
cover
and
a
hard
mattress.
It's
futile
to
look
for
a
room
with
a
nice
view.
The
hotel
is
in
the
middle
of
the
neighborhood.
The
view
in
the
back
is
worse,
with
the
machinery
in
front
of
the
rooms.
The
swimming
pool
and
the
other
amenities,
are
shared
with
the
community.
The
hotel
staff
are
very
friendly
and
tried
to
accommodate
the
best
they
could
when
we
complained
about
the
problems.
There
was
an
on-site
restaurant.
Supposed
to
be
ran
by
the
famous
Dadá
(refer
to
"Muqueca
da
Dadá").
The
restaurant
was
supposed
to
serve
the
Dadá's
tipical
Bahia
food
on
Saturday.
We
tried
it
and
got
once
again
disappointed.
No
trace
of
the
famous
chef
in
the
served
plates.
The
deserts
were
terrible
as
well.
