This place is much more than just a surf camp. It's a beautiful place in the beautiful state of Bahia that is made super special and unique by the people working there and the other guests. The surfing is very good. You will not only go out for ~2 hours every day. They also do a lot of "dry" exercises to practice the technique, you will go out to a nearby lake to practice paddling, turning etc. and you have the option of doing Yoga and stretching to become more flexible to build out the right muscles. The instructors give helpful and tailored advice and helped me to improve within the 2 weeks that I was there. Even if you don't surf, you can improve your health quite a bit by spending some time there: you can work out in the gym, do some yoga, go to the beach, eat acai bowls, drink coconut water and so much more. Even when it's raining or the weather is not as great, there is a lot to do: you can read, hang out with the other guests, skate etc. But the best part is that it all feels like a family. The camp has an amazing chef (Rita), a woman who cooks "home style" Brazilian food every day, you will become friends with the surfing instructors and generally meet a lot of great people there. I can highly recommend spending some time here, it will make for a beautiful and unique experience!

This surf camp is all time. Incredibly well run, steps from a beautiful empty beach, very nice property with areas to relax when not surfing, a gym, pool to cool off, fast internet, comfy beds, warm water, and the food was absolutely delicious and lots of it so you are never hungry. This is also the first time I have seen surf instructors really help, they are very knowledgeable and identify exactly what each person needs to improve. I was really impressed with everything and can’t wait to go back! Definitely a paradise to improve your surfing and enjoy your time while hanging out with great people, and the occasional monkeys.

Best place to disconnect from the city! There is nothing that will distract you from catching perfect waves! Empty lineup, private beach, the best people and good vibes! What else does one need?

I went to BSC with my two boys for a week surf. Camp The camp is simple but warm, welcoming and everything works ! Hot water, air con... :) Food is simple, healthy but delicious. kudos to the ladies in the kitchen for the creativity, kids loved desserts (served at lunch, not for dinner) We had a family room but there are dorms as well. The whole camp is family size and we got along with everyone. The mood was serene. Activities 1- Surf: Coaching from Beto, Lala and Fernando got the boys to correct the bad habits acquired through previous lessons and deviating practice. Pop up got much better and success rate became less erratic. The spot is not Mentawai but consistently delivers waves, generally on three heights: white water on the border, white/green water on the intermediate and large opening waves on the back. Primeiro coral is amazing on big days. I had the opportunity to be there and take full advantage of it at high tide on a big swell day. It is very forgiving, with a nice takeoff ramp and widely opening to the right. Amazing! 2- skate: there is a bowl in the camp. That is the best way to improve the surf. Beto coaches us on legs positions and weight distribution. You can immediately feel the effects on the bowl. We were skating every evening. Camp has protections but we brought our own. 3- yoga: there were yoga classes that did me good on my surf. I think I will start yoga :)

I had the most amazing 2 weeks at Bahia Surf Camp. In fact, I came for one week but had to extend for one more - this is how great this place is. I am so grateful to all the people working there: they are very friendly and they put their souls in what they do. Rita, Michelle and everyone in the kitchen cook the most delicious healthy meals; Jeff, Natal, and others are taking extremely good care of the property; and Beto the owner makes all of this possible. But most of all I am thankful to Mauricio for being the best surf teacher I've ever met. I came there without an intention to surf after being traumatized by my previous injury and bad experiences, but after I saw how they teach classes I gave it a try. They pay so much attention to details, having some of the lessons on the lake nearby to practice paddling, jumpstart, turtle - I've never been to such rigid classes before. Thanks to Mauricio's attention and kindness I started doing green waves after just a few classes, which I didn't believe would be ever possible again. This experience has changed me, both as a surfer and as a person. Also a shoutout to Ludmila for providing thoughtful and restorative yoga sessions and Magno for the best massage ever. On a side note, the camp has very high security and a beautiful private beach, where most of the time we were the only people. The territory is green and well taken care of, room had everything we needed and a terrace. To top it off, the location has biodiversity including turtles, and seeing baby turtles hatching on the beach was one of the highlights. I absolutely loved this place and I hope I will be back soon <3
