Nice hostel with a great location near metro and big shopping street. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and prices are good. Rooms are quite small, but there's some nice social spaces on the rooftop and basement, so you can spend time there. Privacy curtains in rooms with bedside lamp, plugs etc. Unfortunately the bedside lamps in our rooms were brighter than the main light, making it hard to sleep sometimes if someone had a lamp on. Also, if someone slammed a door down the hallway, my bed shook and I could hear the bang. Toilets and showers are ok, again quite small and not a lot of space

Good location with less 1 min walk to metro and buses. Located next to luxury stores complex and theatre. Inside clean and comfortable bed. Pretty organized. Rooms are cleans. Although small, sufficient. The only problem is lower bunk bed height is very limited, cannot even sit up in bed to read. ( I am only 5’4”). Shower and toilets are separated so sometimes create confusion. 2€ additional tourist charge payable at property on check in. €5 for breakfast.

I revisited this place because I was satisfied before, but this time, I had the worst experience. The tall manager who was working last Friday was terrible. I drank hot water from the new coffee machine, and it smelled strongly of bleach. I asked her about the machine, and she said it was installed that day, claiming she had no knowledge or responsibility for it. I drank the water and felt uneasy with a dry throat. However, she responded very rudely and claimed she knew nothing about it. That evening, I went to the pharmacy, and the pharmacist prescribed medication for me. The next day, I went to the hospital in Germany upon returning. Fortunately, there was nothing wrong with my body, but I was really disappointed by the hostel's irresponsible behavior. They should have notified or put up notices about the precautions for that machine in advance. The staff at the front desk don't pay attention to guests waiting in front of them and just chat among themselves, even if guests have to wait for more than 15 minutes. Especially the tall manager woman.

Great location in city center. Good beds, clean linen. Towels were provided. Hairdryer and looker for borrow. I slept very well. The lookers are making a lot of noise and can be disturbing in the night if you not have a deep sleep. The stuff is verry friendly and helpful. The also offered to borrow an umbrela for us without even asked for it. They have elevator and a bar on the roof top. Very good experience for few euros.

The worst experience of my life in any hostel or hotel. The receptionists are rude and unprofessional they take more than 35 minutes per person for a room, they talk to each other while everyone waits. It's absurd besides robbing me they made me wait and see how they treated people is outrageous. I am a hotelier by profession and would never give a bad review unless it was extremely necessary as in this case. The lack of hotel management . Lack of staff training and lack of minimum education for me pink the ridiculous.

This hostel is very modern with small rooms but very comfortable beds however i think that at the end of the day they forget that they are still a hostel. I have been in several hostels in Lisbon and this was the first one where no tour around the facilities were made when i checked in. Very quick and cold hosting leaves you to find out things by yourself. They charge extra 4 euros for the breakfast where almost every other hostel gives breakfast for free. There is no kitchen even if they have advertised so on hostelworld. There is 0 atmosphere, i really don't recommend if you are travelling alone and want to meet people. I have spent several days there and i didn't meet one single person, to mention that I'm a very social guy. They have a rooftop bar but during my stay it was closed. It's located next to Louis Vuitton, Karl Lagerfeld etc..shops.The staff was mostly cold, i think that they are still hoping that Paris Hilton will walk in and check in in that hostel. The wi-fi was very good. It was also spotless clean. No activities for the guests. Verdict If you are a solo travel on the budget this is the last place where you want to be. The fact that there's no kitchen and no free breakfast will double the price of your stay. The non existent atmosphere and the cold staff makes it the most boring hostel i have ever stayed. If you are travelling for work, have extra bucks to spend and don't expect to socialize then this will be a good option. It's quiet, clean and comfortable with a good wifi connection. I would give 2 and half stars if i could.

Decent stay, as others pointed out, the personal storage just does not work, so be careful with personal valuables belonging leaving in the room. Bathroom is small and clean It feel pretty cramp, but the bed linen is comfortable and blanket is super thick (warm) Somehow lights cant be turned on at dawn Good stay if you just need a sleepover place for a day or two Location is the best!

Stayed in many hostels so far only good experiences :-)! However this one was probably the most uncomfortable experience so far.. I paid 60 euros a night cause I booked quite last minute, but I would suggest to pay more if that’s an option and go for a hotel room! Rooms are incredibely small and it’s next to a really noisy street, there is no airco in the room, so during the night you need to open the window which gives a lot of noise. There is a blue light around the windows which stays on during the night. Showers are super basic, little bit of water. If you sleep in the upper bunk bed it’s rather challenging to get in there. If you look for a cheap place with no comfort and a good loation this is your stay! Otherwise I would suggest to stay away from it. Make sure to bring earplugs and a sleeping mask , the hostel doesn’t sell them. In general a good idea to bring those but at this place a necessity.

The hostel is really nice, and the price was really good! We reserved it via Booking.com. The location is perfect. Only problem is that the check in took too long, and also before the visit I contacted the hostel to get some information about our reservation and they didn’t respond for a long time. So the servise could be a bit better. There is a rooftop that we could use with a great view! :)

2 months ago I stayed here with my girlfriend and everything was perfect: the staff was really nice, everything was clean and we had a good time even though we only stayed for 2 days. But now… the bathrooms were dirty and smelly all the time, the staff felt very indifferent to you and was very, very disorganized, noise all night long…I mean, what the hell happened?

Fairly basic hostel. Not much of an atmosphere unfortunately. Clean rooms though. Bathrooms not so much. Would only recommend for a short stay and if you want peace and quiet its also good.

Great hostel. Gives a feeling of a very clean place. For the amount of rooms and beds the general maintaining is preety good. The mattresses are very good and the bed structures themselves are great. They don't move nor are squeeky, and they've got curtains covering the whole area so it gives you a lot more of privacy. The reception is 24hs and you can always find someone there. Also they speak English, Portuguese and Spanish for what I've seen. Prices are most surely not the best in the city, but it certainly doesn't disappoint.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facilities were always clean and well-maintained. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the warm welcome I received upon arrival. From the comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchen, everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

The rooms are neat and clean, just a bit small for 8 people when everyone needs to access their locker underneath the bunk beds. This doesn't usually happen, but the person with their locker closest to the door might experience some inconvenience because of the lack of space. Even in 28°C sunny weather the room was cool to sleep in. The service was great, lovely staff, very helpful. Enough space for relaxing in the lobby, breakfast room and the rooftop! Location was great, not far from the city centre and easily accessible by metro and bus. You can leave your luggage with them before check-in and after check-out (= €2) without any trouble. However, you can hear the door of another room slam shut and if you are on the top bunk bed, you will notice if someone else has their bed light on.

A great hostel that is high-end and extremely clean! The staff works very hard to keep the place running smoothly, they are so accommodating, and they keep the rooms and bathrooms sanitized. This is a great hostel if you’re looking for a fun, safe, clean, and comfortable place to stay in downtown Lisboa for a low cost!

My second stay A complete and unmotivated change from the first one. I have been asked without any explanation for a scannable copy of my signature to enter the second stay, not the first one, and not every guest I have been checked while smoking outside after my coffee by a woman from walked out inside They called the cops on me that searched my bag and wanted me to remove some of my clothes It's been an hostile experience and their attitude is definitely border line to a criminal behaviour. The place is expensive, in an expensive area and with the least personal space, for guests up to 8 in 20 sq meters, compared to other similar hostels Bad and evil. Upfront paid receipts available upon request.

The view from our room was amazing! Overall our experience at the hostel was great but the shared toilets were often closed, the keys to the room malfunctioned every single day and we had to go to the reception constantly. The rooftop was really nice at night

I give 2 stars, for the location and for the low price. They asked 5 EUR for deposit of the locker, in cash. I had to ask my money back, they didn’t give it back automatically. It was not nice in my opinion. And the guy said: this is the procedure. Ok, good to know. :) I don’t care about the noisy room, because mostly people didn’t respect I was sleeping, this is hostel life. But this deposit thing just ruined my experience. here.

It was a very dirty hostel, the cleaning staff looked like they didn't want to work, and the bathrooms smelled strongly like chlorine cleaning. The vibe was also off. It's like a very boring hostel and there's no place you can sit quietly. The good part is that the beds are comfortable and the location is great!

It's centrally located with metro station 1 minute away. The rooms were clean however the showers may need more frequent cleaning (hair everywhere and clogged sinks). You can store your luggage for free. The beds have curtains for privacy. Stayed at an 8 female only dorm and it was so tiny, 2 people could barely be standing up at the same time. The toilets are also narrow and small. For the price of around 35€/night for this situation I find it too expensive. If you calculate 8 people staying at the same time in the room they make 250-300€ per night for a place that would barely fit a double bed if bunk beds weren't a thing... Exploitation. Check in process took long (20 mins at least). Doubt I'd stay again.

This is the best solution for students or somebody who wants to just keep their bags for a short time. You really can rent a sleeping place in a room with others for 20-30 eur. Most of the people there - students. So, if you are young, and ready to meet young people who love to party - to stay in Bluesock Hotels is much more interesting than to rent expensive hotels. It's very hard to not get connections there)

Good hostel, walls are thin so you hear other peeps. There's an air on on in the room constantly which didn't bother me too much. The beds have everything you need, a little light, socket, curtain and a locker for your stuff.

Very clean. Nice lobby and rooftop bar. It feels like a hotel - which is a plus for me. Housekeeping comes every day to clean the common areas. You can bring food and drinks from outside to enjoy in the dining area. The room has AC - which would be a huge life saver during the summer here. The only downsides are: the wall is very thin so you can hear other rooms and people stomping in the hallway, and the room door squeaks loudly when it closes. So, bring your earplugs.

This hostel looks like a premium hotel: clean, modern and safe. Price was crazy low (10€/day on booking.com) However, the hostel vibes are missing and the staff is not the nicest. PS: I could work using the common spaces and I had no problems. Wifi is really fast (400mpbs).

The rooms were clean and safe. The location was good. There is a grocery store and good restaurants all around the place. The stuff was very kind and outgoing. Don't forget some earplugs or earphones..but it's necessary part in any hostel, I think 😀 .. Wouldn't mind to stay at this place again.

Nice and clean hostel in a good location. The staff are very kind and helpful. The only minus for me, that the box under your bed is not that safe - even if you lock it, it is not hard to get in. It is also very loud. Also, the doors are automatically closing and if you do not stop then, it is so loud and uncomfortable especially at night. I was awake several times as because of the strong door shutting, whole room was almost moving.

My two friends and I booked 6 nights at this hostel, but after 2 days during which we had countless run-ins with a strange man staying there who drank a lot of alcohol and didn't respect our boundaries, we spoke to a very kind manager who told us she understood our problem and would absolutely refund our money for the remaining nights (and try to get the other guest to leave so he wouldn't disturb others), and so we left for another hostel. We eventually got our refund, but only ⅔ of the money. It turned out the accounting team thought my female friend and I deserved to be refunded but not our male friend. This was never indicated to us in any way and after numerous emails asking for it to be corrected, we have heard no apology and gotten no more money back. We would have acted differently if we knew and it seems an incredibly unprofessional way to conduct a business.

You definitely get what you pay for. My friend and I paid €9/night for three nights. We shared a 6 beds dorm, female only. There was mold all around the windows - I guess no one ever bothered to open the windows during the day. The rooms were clean and we received a towel. No noise complaints from the corridor BUT the lockers underneath the bed were SO loud, so if someone would arrive late at night or leave early you'd wake up. That waa annoying. The location was very good. The staff at the desk was extremely slow and there was this one rude blonde lady that did annoy me as well but other than that if you're looking for a cheap place to stay i'd recommend it.

Clean and comfortable hostel - beds were very large and I slept well! Not really a social vibe, went up to the rooftop a few times and it was either dead or locked in the mornings (wanted to catch sunrise). Rooms are smaller than they look but at least they have a window so nice for some natural light and fresh air.

Rooms are really small and really poorly designed. All my roommates from different countries fully agreed on this. Mattresses, at least in room 207 are too short to the point I barely fit in them. The staff is rude and there's no kitchen available for guests. They also asked for extra 5 euros as deposit for the room key and if you don't show a little sheet they give and I posted here they won't refund the deposit even if you give the key back.

I wish I could give zero stars! They wasted my time! . Right now I am staying at this hostel. It took them hours to check me in, in the first place. Then I asked the receptionist to extend my stay to two more days. She told me to do it via Hostelworld and I did so. When I showed her the reservation, she told me I need to check out first at 11 am and then come back at 3 pm to check back in. I waited in the lobby till 3 pm and because there was a long queue, I decided to leave my backpack in the luggage area and come back in the evening. Long story short, it took me a whole day to extend my stay in the same room. The receptionists are rude, unprofessional and ill trained. Don’t waste your time. Do yourself a favor and Book your stay somewhere else!

The hostel doesn’t have a kitchen although there is a microwave. They also do not provide any basic supplies such as paper towels or silverware so you can easily eat and cleanup a cold or microwaved meal. The showers smelled a little like mildew, and it seemed like the eating area was always a little dirty (keep in mind, no one has a way to clean up after themselves because a lack of supplies). The rooftop bar was closed and when it is open, they also prohibit you from bringing your own food or drink up there. Socially, no one seemed eager to interact. Everyone kept to themselves. Lastly, I think they may be understaffed. The employees were professional and helped me as necessary but they seemed stressed or burnout. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it.

Awesome hostel. Reception is big and the people working here are very friendly. Rooms are good size. All beds have socks and your own light. Also curtain for your privacy and a big box for your belongings.

The location of the hostel/hotel is very good. Unfortunately it was super noisy in our double bed room. You can here everyone walking, the doors are wrong mounted and extremely loud. We couldn't sleep because of the nonstop noises of slamming doors. We alsp woke up by the noises from the kitchen and the other rooms. There was no water in the room provided which is unacceptable for this price and a hotel room. We defintely wouldn't stay there again.

One of the best hostel I have visited ever. Prices are afforable even on prime season. Service is very kind. Rooms are very comfortable with big window. Beds are also very nice for a hostel. Precisely in terms of price/ quality best option for Lisbon. Moreover it has teracce with kind of city view.

Overall quite nice and clean. But the water in showers was cold in the mornings and steaming hot in the evenings. The rooms were tiny (which was expected) and also quite inconvenient (no place to hang your clothes, no mirror, no garbage bin etc). Also, it seemed like ventilation was switched off - the bathroom was extremely steamy, the bedroom windows were covered with condensed water by the morning. Not the best.

Best hostel I've ever stayed in (I've slept in 7 hostels). The hostel was 7 months old when my friend and I stayed so everything was modern and well kept. We stayed in the room with 4 XL beds for 4 nights and actually had the room to ourselves the entire time. Each bed included a reading light, 2 power outlets, and a curtain. Two large lockers at the bottom of the bunk (cable locks are too thin to proper lock the locker). There was an outside room with toilets and another room with showers (with gel soap dispenser). There was a lounge in the basement and the ground floor included seating and tables as well. Hostel was well located next to a metro and within walking distance of downtown. The only downside to this hostel would be a lack of social atmosphere. There are tour pamphlets on the ground floor which led us to have a great time with others in a pub crawl. Overall, 10/10 would stay again!

We came for the rooftop bar. Great views and cocktails! Staff at reception was super friendly. Staff at the bar did not seem too happy/motivated somehow. Modern building that was opened in spring 2019.

Not the best hostel, not the worst hostel. Rooms: The rooms were okay. The beds had curtains so you get some privacy. However, the beds were right next to the door and I woke up everytime someone came in. People kept coming in at 3.30am and didn't care about the people sleeping - the staff also didn't do anything to remind other guests of the sleeping times. Staff: Besides that the staff was friendly. Bathroom/Shower: Way too small. I could hardly move in the shower without hitting the walls. Also there were no shower mats. Once you stepped out of the shower, you stood on the cold hard stone floor. Besided that the toilets and showers were clean. Surroundings: There was a construction site next to the hostel but besides that it was in a good neighbourhood. The bus and metro station are really close and there are a lot of restaurants.

Not very affordable but a very comfortable place to stay. A bit strange but if you are a couple you can actually sleep in a double bed but in a shared dormitory with curtains for privacy. The strange thing is that it doesn't make your stay cheaper. You pay like two beds

  • 5/5 Sergi Navarro G. 1 year ago on Google
Located in the centre of Lisbon, it is a very good place for short stays. In shared rooms, beds have a courtain for privacy, and there is a big drawer for suitcases that can be locked. Also, bathrooms are pretty clean, there are cool common areas, and they offer a recommendable 5€ breakfast. Regarding the service, everyone was really helpful and understanding with some problems I had with the reservation. The only bad thing is that you might hear people snore, but this is a hostel in the end, so it can be expected ;)

  • 4/5 Jakob 7 months ago on Google
Ist cheap and very clean. Everything you would expect when booking a hostel. I was in a room with 6 people but that's the maximum number of people i would recommend. The room with 8 beds ist extremly small. The breakfast is very minimal but good enough for 5 euros.

  • 2/5 Sofia A. 1 year ago on Google
A let down. Not much of a hostel atmosphere. The bathrooms reeked of sewage, rooms were unbelievably muggy (especially on the lower bunks), my luggage lock didn’t work. Not the worst place, but overpriced for what you get, and overall unpleasant. Urban Garden down the street is less expensive, and wonderful! Stay there if you can.

This hostel is quite nice to stay at. It’s not really expensive, and the location is nice just near to the the city center. There are many brands just nearby and a metro 🚇 as well. You can do some shopping if you are interested. Regarding the hostel, the staff members are really pleasant and helpful, and I am very grateful for their assistance.

Nice location and good service. But the music in the lounge area was so loud and noisy that I had to leave. I chose this hostel because I read they have great office areas. But I couldn’t get any work done In that noise. And the wifi didn’t work

Good hostel, kind staff, and sufficient location. The beds were clean and the common bathrooms were cleaned regularly. I didn’t feel like it’s the place to meet people, rather to travel and be by yourself. The check in took very long and the payment to leave your stuff after you checked out is quite unnecessary.
