If you're looking for a wedding venue with stunning grounds, beautiful hotel rooms for yourself and guests, and an immaculate attention to every detail.. this is it. I've had the honour of photographing many weddings at Langdon Hall and each one has been beautifully executed by the LH team. My clients are always beyond happy with their experience and their guests are consistently blown away. The hotel and property are the perfect setting for photos - and whether you're having a larger wedding in the Fir Shade Room or something smaller in the main house, you and your guests will have a wonderful experience!

Today I visited the spa at Langdon Hall. The massage was fantastic. However there was a security issue. Upon arrival at the spa, I was given a locker with a key to store my possessions. After the massage, we enjoyed a drink by the hot tub. When I returned to my locker, there was a key in it. We told both the cleaning staff in the changeroom area and the staff at the spa's front desk. Neither provided an explanation, nor were they overly concerned. There was nothing missing from my locker but I will be checking my credit card activity for the next little while.

Spent a wonderful 3 days here. Service was great except on our last day at Wicks bar. Even though we arrived first, we had to wait for service while another patron was looked after before us. When we finally received our drinks, the bartender spilled it on my shoes. However, it's a lovely place. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. I also loved riding the bikes that were available on their trails. Would love to return.

Spent one night here for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. This is truly a hidden gem, a stunning property full of staff that genuinely wants to see you have a wonderful time here. Flawless arrangement and just thoughtful design and management. I don't think I will run out of positive things to say about this hotel / spa. Definitely cannot miss booking a dinner reservation at the restaurant here which is apparently Top 5. We each have an app, a main, and a dessert and it was delicious + fulfilling. I did not feel stuffed nor any food went to waste which is important to me. Free bike rental and wine tasting at the hotel! Spa + outdoor pool. Plan your stay and you will leave happily with some wonderful memories!

I love this capturing my couple’s wedding days at this venue. Their grounds make for an incredible backdrop for portraits no matter the time of year. It’s hard to beat their world class menu, and don’t get me started on the cocktail creations at their main house bar. Whether you are hosting a large guest list or an intimate group of friends, the experience of getting married here is second to none.

This rating is purely for the spa. I want to start out by saying that the actual spa service I received was wonderful. I got the body scrub and the entire experience was relaxing and my therapist was truly lovely. As for the spa rooms, they are very basic. No thought put into the decor or ambiance which was surprising. As for the jacuzzi and sauna, they are in a very small room where some patio tables were placed around. This is also where they serve Spa lunch. As you can imagine, the smell of chlorine is very strong and we actually had to step outside a few times because our eyes were hurting from just sitting at one of the tables. There was also a severe shortage of sitting areas in general here, so people were hoarding entire 6 person tables while going to get treatments upstairs while others had nowhere to relax. The jacuzzi also had a lot of hair in it several times, but it was cleaned only when we had asked. The women's change room was not appropriately stocked, and the blow dryer would only work for about 30 seconds at a time before shutting off. There was no staff coming to check in on the change rooms. While some of these details would go unnoticed at a cheaper/less 'prestigiously' marketed spa, they did not go unnoticed here. Overall disappointed and will not be returning to the spa. We have dined in the dining room previously and the experience on that end was much much different - in fact, I highly recommend their dining!

We celebrated an anniversary here on the weekend and cannot express how lovely it was. The service was exceptional, and we had an absolutely amazing meal for dinner. We would highly recommend the smoked oysters and the beef main - it was the best steak I’ve ever had. The rooms are beautiful and come extremely well equipped with a Dyson hairdryer. The property is lovely and we enjoyed a walk through the tree covered trails. We will be returning for sure.

Langdon is as lovely as can be. The entire building is so charming and has so much character, the rooms are cozy and cottage like, the dining room is beautiful and the service is what you would expect for a "Relais & Chateaux". The food garnishes are so fresh and so so pretty and the presentation of each dish is perfect. I love sitting on their patio during the summertime. The trails and exterior areas of Langdon are amazing. We have dined here many times, stayed a few times and have enjoyed the spa a few times as well. I would highly recommend any or all of the above for any occasion!

Beautiful location and service in the hotel, restaurant, and spa. Our 9am massages made it hard to get breakfast and steam room access sorted though - hot breakfast items didn't come till 8:30 and we received mixed messages about spa access before 9am appointments (the whole point of a massage at a spa is to have a way to get super hot before hand). The hot tub wasn't very hot, but the jets were great. We never found the sauna. Steam room needs to be turned on a little in advance. The pre massage email told us to wear our robes from our rooms, but the spa lockers contained a fresh one. If you don't like plastic tea bags (that's what's available in the room and spa), you may prefer to bring your own. A second trail map did not match the first in colour, but some trail names will match. It was too confusing for me to confidently venture far. The bath bomb in the room was a very nice extra touch. We also enjoyed the fire place and cupcakes in our room.

My husband and I stayed at Langdon Hall for our first wedding anniversary. We both cannot say enough good things about our experience. The inn, grounds, and amenities are all beautiful. We loved spending an afternoon by the pool, and enjoyed playing pool and games in the study area after dinner. Service from all of the staff was attentive and impeccable. We especially enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting with Jeremy, one of the sommeliers. The food was perhaps the best we have ever had and the wine recommendations from Jeremy for our meals were perfect. Langdon Hall is a hidden gem that truly felt like a special getaway only an hour and half from Toronto.

Wonderful place to get away for some R&R. Amazing food with equally amazing, extensive wine selection. Good spa. Rooms are large with real wood burning fireplaces 🔥- but are a bit dated. The grounds look wonderful but we were too early in the season to appreciate. Caution - it is NOT inexpensive. Delightful, helpful, friendly staff.

Langdon Hall is my Heaven on Earth. My husband and I LOVE each and every visit. From the magnificent food, to the gorgeous gardens, and incredible Spa services. The staff at Langdon always take excellent care of us and treat us with such kindness. Every single team member goes above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Thank You for giving us some true bliss!

I would not recommend having your wedding at this venue if you care about your vendors. I’ve never in my life been treated like such a peasant as a wedding vendor. Truthfully, this venue is over priced, the food is mediocre at best and I could not fathom spending the amount of money it costs for this venue and then have a contract full of rules also imposed upon me. The only person who was polite to me the entire day was the man at the front desk. Otherwise the bus boys and the valet staff were incredibly disrespectful, rude and short with my team as well as the wedding guests. If you’re going to spend the money, you’re better off with a mill wedding.

Absolutely incredible!! We enjoyed 4 perfect days here for our baby moon and loved every second. Service is impeccable, food is delicious picked straight from the garden in a lot of cases and chef even allowed us to order off menu on 2 nights which was so accommodating. Bar staff are so knowledgeable. Amazing surroundings and so so relaxing. We will be back!

What a great spa! Fantastic service and very friendly staff. Helpful and make you feel relaxed! I've been here a few times. Mother's Day spa day with my mom and sister. A whole day of relaxing massages, pedicures and facials. Many services to choose from. Great for girls day out or for couples. Beautiful hotel and amazing restaurant.

Incredible experience. We stay here in early September for a romantic evening away. Great time to go as the leaves are changing. Lours. The trails were gorgeous, our massages were incredible and it was a ton of fun hanging out in the main house in the evening playing board games. It is absolutely worth it, the attention to detail is very impressive. Our meals were very delicious, and the croissants with breakfast were the best I have ever had. The room was amazing, and the staff was so kind to come prepare a fire for us. We can’t wait to go back.

I had the most perfect day on my first visit at Langdon Hall. My sister arranged for us to have a sister spa day at this amazing facility after hearing so much about it. Upon arrival, I first noticed how clean the place was. We were greeted by some friendly ladies that checked us in and gave us a tour. Before our massage we relaxed in the wait room which were very beautifully decorated and comfortable. I enjoyed the steam room, sauna and hot tub while my sister enjoyed her massage. My massage was booked with Christian and he was incredible- perfect 10/10. I'm very particular with my Massages and have high expectations and he exceeded them all. Warm bed, the perfect pressure, worked my knots and tension, understood my pain and pressure points, didn't talk through the whole hour and definitely knows his stuff. He's very pleasant, professional and made me feel very comfortable. I'll be returning specifically to be massaged by him again. After our service, we topped our evening off with champagne and a cheese board, which were both very delicious. We had the best time and will definitely be back!

Came here for a wedding on the weekend and this was certainly a venue that leaves a lasting impression. The staff are helpful and polite, the food was incredible, the rooms were fantastic, and the ground were serene! Honestly this was such a great experience, and from a guests perspective think it’s an phenomenal venue to have your wedding at. The only observation I had where they could improve was around the speed of delivery for drink orders. Whether it was at the restaurant for lunch, or relaxing at the pool side, both times when we ordered just a single round of drinks they took at least 20+ minutes to arrive. All in all though you’re going to have a phenomenal time staying here.

Amazing experience. Won a 1/2 day spa retreat from an Instagram giveaway at Christmas and used it as an early birthday treat. I love that their gift cards for 1/2 spa days can be used for the dollar amount and they don't expire! Had a fabulous afternoon being pampered and enjoying the amenities. Highly recommend!

Our graduation celebration led us to Langdon Hall in Cambridge, where we were fortunate to have the opportunity to experience the culinary delights and exceptional hospitality of this luxurious retreat. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere exuded a blend of celebration and elegance, setting the perfect tone for our special occasion. Our journey began with the warm welcome of Angel Rodriguez, the relationship manager at Langdon Hall. Angel's gracious demeanor and genuine interest in making our visit memorable made us feel like old friends rather than just guests. He invested at least half an hour of his time to personally show us around the exquisite property, sharing his extensive knowledge about its history and the intricate details that make it truly unique. As we explored the lush gardens and timeless architecture, Angel's passion for Langdon Hall's heritage and commitment to guest satisfaction shone through. His dedication to ensuring our experience was exceptional truly stood out, creating a personalized touch that elevated our visit. We were fortunate to have met Chef Justin during our tour, an encounter that added a special layer to our culinary journey. Our evening took an extraordinary turn as we were led to the dining area. Meeting Chef Justin was an honor; his passion for culinary artistry was evident in every meticulously crafted dish. The flavors, textures, and presentation of each course were a testament to the chef's expertise, leaving an indelible mark on our taste buds and memory. Throughout the evening, Angel continued to impress us with his attentiveness and thoughtful service. His commitment to fostering meaningful connections with guests added a layer of warmth to the entire experience. As we savored our meal, we couldn't help but feel truly special on our momentous occasion. Our Langdon Hall experience, guided by Angel's care and Chef Justin's culinary mastery, was a symphony of elegance, taste, and genuine hospitality. From the personalized service to the enchanting surroundings, every element worked harmoniously to create an unforgettable evening that celebrated our achievements and marked the beginning of new memories. Langdon Hall, under the guidance of individuals like Angel, truly embodies the art of creating timeless and cherished moments.

Highly recommended! Very kind and helpful staff. José was very clear and knowledgeable on his wine option to accompany our meals. Loved the detailed descriptions of each meal. It made the food so much more interesting to eat and identifying all the flavours mentioned. This was great "mini-moon" for my wife and I. We'll for sure plan to come back during other seasons. Angel described winter at Langdon Hall and sounds magical to experience it.

My experience at Langdon Hall was nothing short of exceptional. I was lucky enough to spend a few days here and I was constantly impressed by the level of dedication each Langdon Hall team member has to make each guest feel valued, seen, and important. Their team paid close attention to detail, even noticing that I enjoyed grapefruit juice in the morning with my breakfast and having it specially ready for me every morning. This hotel and their amazing team possess a level of hospitality that most strive for. Special shout out to Angel for always anticipating our needs. I would highly recommend Langdon Hall to anyone wanting an extraordinary experience.

Visited for a morning breakfast date with the family. Scenery and landscaping were neat and clean. Reception was super friendly. Our waiter was very helpful with our selection of orders. However, the waitress that came out to explain to us what our dishes consisted of did sound more of a robot repeating a scripted line than giving us a more meaningful experience. (Understandably, she's probably repeated this a hundred times). The food was superb, and there was also a mini buffet as well. Keep in mind that the restaurant here is catered towards experience and quality, though, not quantity. Don't expect tons of food out for the pickings. Afterward, we were able to explore the property and see some history of the Hall as well. Would come back again!

Simply not as advertised! Rooms are tired and dated with a great need of a refreshment. We arrived to stay 1 night and we received no information of the setup or help to get to our room from any of the staff members. We checked out at 7am with much delight. Don’t let the reviews on the amazing food experience hide what lurks with their hotel room stays.

Rooms are incredible. Large wood beams, but modernized. Beautiful livingr9om, fireplace and second floor loft bedroom with a gorgeous bathroom. Service was exceptional. Food was delicious! No elevators, so you may need to walk up back stairscases, but they will bring your luggage to your room. We went in late fall/early winter before the snow and can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the other seasons.

We were there just for the day. We had hand therapy, lunch later and a walk in the grounds. I would like to comment on the hand therapy session. Sorry, I can’t remember her name. It was at 11:30 am on Friday 10th September. The service provider was exceptional, did a wonderful and careful job, the nail varnish is still in good shape, no chipping! Very cheerful and best of all, has a Newfoundland connection! The lunch on the patio was great 👍 great service.

Heard many great things about Langdon Hall. Generally that is very difficult to "live up" to the hype. The rooms are clean, spacious and eloquent. The room fridge was not working , one call and a new fridge delivered within minutes. The room is country/modern style. No complaints. Room #19. One king, couch, fireplace on the bottom floor. The grounds are perfect for those wanting green spacious living. Surrounded by trails, activities and a pool. The meal was incredible! I repeat it was incredible. Worth every cent. The entire dining experience with wonderful. Each person we encountered were professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. We had a gluten and diary free diet and it wasn't an issue. The restaurant is recognized nationally for its excellence and that is well-deserved. If you like to hike, bike, move or find a quiet country setting to read a book or chill out Langdon Hall is the place.

Was the most amazing meal I have had in years. Our server John was very attentive and catered to our every need. Room was impeccable. Knowing they grow their food in the garden makes this even more special. Fresh flowers everywhere beautifully appointed rooms. I felt like a Queen

I can't shower enough praise on the service, kitchen, and event staff at Langdon. We had a small 20-person wedding here (that had to be rescheduled twice) and Kate and her team took care of everything and made it easy. The food was phenomenal, the service was exceptional, and our guests absolutely loved the entire experience.

It was truly an experience for sure. The service was impeccable. The patio was beautiful. The atmosphere was romantic. I loved the complimentary champagne. I enjoyed the smoked beef my husband enjoyed the beer batter cod. I'm not a sauce person... too many dabs as decoration and the flowers petals on my food.

I am not sure that Langdon Hall staff understand the meaning of the word hospitality. I booked a large suite for my father and stepmother so that we could celebrate my stepmother's 80th birthday together (due to COVID and distance it has been over a year since I have seen them so we were all looking forward to it immensely). There was only one room available so my sister and I decided to stay at her house that night as it is only an hour's drive from the inn. In my booking I requested two additional dinners one night so that my sister and I could celebrate this 80th birthday with them. I received a call back stating without apology that they have staff shortages and could not possibly prepare two additional dinners. Bearing in mind that this is an 88 and 80 year old couple looking to a daughter who lives at a distance I found this lack of interest in meeting needs of guests very disappointing. This is not the Langdon Hall I remember from past visits.

Could not speak more highly of Langdon Hall and highly of all the staff and service. We visited for an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast reservations. Dinner - incredible food. Each dish was so thoughtfully designed and delicious. Everything was well done but my favourite dish was the beets! Our server was also incredibly attentive and friendly. Room - very clean, and loved that there was a fireplace in our room!

Langdon Hall is perfection in Ontario. Nestled away in the countryside this resort is where relaxation and the utmost fine dining in Ontario and probably all of Canada is. All the staff is very delightful and super helpful. The main house room was very spacious and has a lovely bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Previously stayed in the Cloister House with a terrace. While the terrace was nice, the room had a bit of a damp smell so I prefer the main house. The pool is lovely. Very refreshing as it isn’t super heated. Great poolside service and food. I dream about Chef Bangerter’s cuisine when I’m not there. It’s top notch. Everything we ate there was not only beautifully plated but exquisitely delicious.

Absolutely amazing experience. The food is amazing worth every penny, and the scenery is breathtaking. The grounds crew should be extremely proud of what an amazing job there doing. Room was as clean as could be. My wife encountered the grounds staff and they were happy to answer all her questions and even let her tour the greenhouse. Staff were all extremely polite and professional. Will gladly comeback!

This was a once in a lifetime experience for me and my husband. Everything about this historic property is 5 stars. Staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel and services. The food was very rich an delectable. The presentation was almost too pretty to eat. The staff are happy here which speaks to the management team , congratulations. There are too many words to explain and praise this hotel and spa that it would be the longest review I have ever wrote. If you can go here it will be with you forever. Pet friendly.

Langdon Hall doesn’t disappoint. We decided to have a fancy dinner out and that’s exactly what we experienced…. and more. The atmosphere, setting and service in the dinning hall were excellent. The food were simply superb. The Smoked Beef was one of the best that we have had in a long while. The attentions to details trulyset this place up above the rest. Our daughter got married at this venue 3 years ago and it was perfection. Please keep up with the great work. Compliment like mine is hard to come by, but you totally earned it.

Had tea and coffee with my girlfriends. Beautiful cozy and peaceful atmosphere. There’s an actual Christmas tree and wonderfully warm wood fireplaces. The sunrooms were my favourite though! We stayed all day and the whole experience was similar to visiting a friend’s house ❤️ Everything on the desserts menu was divine! And the portion sizes are just right! Not a place for loud talkers though

I have been lucky enough to visit Langdon Hall multiple times and every time has been truly exceptional. From the moment you turn onto the picturesque driveway surrounded by the breathtaking Carolinian forest, you feel like you have stepped into a world of luxury and tranquility. The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is peaceful, making for a truly relaxing experience. The cuisine is top-notch and deserving of its Five-Diamond rating. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, with luxurious amenities like plush feather beds and down duvets. Some even have a charming sitting area complete with a wood-burning fireplace and antique furnishings. I have also had the pleasure of hosting events at Langdon Hall and the staff is always professional and accommodating. The architecture and grounds are stunning and the gardens are breathtaking. In conclusion, Langdon Hall is the ultimate destination for anyone seeking to recharge, rejuvenate, and reconnect with nature.

We were there for baby moon and booked a 2 nights package. I think the value is not really there and I won’t recommend staying. Spa facilities: I booked a pregnancy massage but the staff doesn't have that in record, so she was surprised to see me. The pillow was okay, but not as comfortable as compare to other luxury spa I have been to. Hot tub is very small in size too. When you have 5 people in, that’s becoming very crowded already. Room cleaning service: After one night, we found out that the room was not really cleaned. The bed was made and used towels are collected and refilled with new one, but that's about it. You can still see the counter was not wiped, tea bags was not refilled. We have to call the front desk to get porter to bring us more. Room amenities: The bathtub is very old. We see there's stain at the bottom and can't be removed. TV was small comparatively. The fireplace made the whole room quite smoky and it's hard to get rid of that smell throughout the whole night, even though we called the front desk and they have others open the window. I do appreciate they have dyson hair dryer provided in the room. Front desk staff: we were asked how's our stay at checkout and I said okay. The female attendant was in shock and she followed up with more questions. However, she lacked empathy as her face turned very annoyed and irritated while listening to my comments. Until there's another male staff came over, and he really was more professional and tried to resolve problem for us, hoping to raise our satisfaction. Overall ground keeping are very minimal. It’s a very big property, but you see things are not maintained around the area as well. It’s looks nice from the far, but close up it’s very old and lack of maintenance.

I have been staying at Langdon Hal for 20 years, first with my parents and now with my own family. It’s my favourite place. The food is beyond excellent, the grounds are gorgeous, and you simply won’t find more comfortable beds. If you’re there on a weekend in the summer, I highly recommend the garden tour. And don’t forget to do the wine tastings!

2 Michelin stars at least We found Langdon Hall 20 years ago driving the area and stumbled upon it. In 20 years we have not been disappointed once. Even with staff changes both in the dining room as well as the kitchen the service and quality has always remained the same. The kitchen puts together flavours on each dish like no other. My wife and I have ran a restaurant for 27 years and been lucky enough to get to enjoy many great restaurants worldwide but always put Langdon as one of our favourites. Everything is always prepared and cooked correctly. Service and all staff make you feel at home and like family. We have also stayed at the hotel and used the spa both fantastic. Every time we go to Langdon we get the feeling like being away it make you unwind and the location and gardens relaxes you immediately. Thank you to management for making our small retirement party so special. We will always return no matter where our family ends up living . Keep up the great work.
