πŸ‘πŸ‘ Had a great day out on the Bears and Waterfalls tour. Waterfalls were easy to find, bears not so much. Our guide/captain Damien was great and took the extra effort to go further to find us some. Got to see some other wildlife too. Toba inlet was especially scenic, and I really loved seeing all of it... People often mention tour, whale, guide, great, boat, seals, watching, wildlife, trip, amazing,

Great experience! Did the 4 hour whale and wildlife tour. We saw sea lions, seals, lots of bald eagles, and an elusive grey whale that was a bit shy. The tour was an extra 30-45 minutes as we had spotted the whale’s blow hole misting water off in the distance towards the tail end. It was nice the guide let us spend time trying to see it up close. Our skipper/tour guide Jack was great! The covered boat is quite comfy. Lots of leg room. I wish they had some sort of speaker system for the guide as the motors are obviously very loud. Love the top deck viewing and the fact that there’s plenty of room to move around the boat so you aren’t seated in one spot for the entire tour. This is a great tourist activity. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of getting to go on a tour with campbell river whale watching and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life!!!! We saw tons of humpbacks, seals, stellar sea lions, eagles and fish jumping everywhere. Our guide Laurel was very professional and she could drive a boat like nobody's business! She knew tons about the smaller Islands and channels we explored through. It was great learning about this rugged area of BC. We had some seriously choppy water and it made our trip so much more fun than I could've ever imagined. If you are looking for an amazing wildlife tour I highly recommend you book with CRWW. I would love to go on one of their grizzly bear tours!

Well organized tour and with a prepared guide/captain on the boat. Animal sightseeing is based on luck, but the day went quite well thanks to the good preparation of the captain and his right approach. I also really appreciated the sustainable initiative that the company has committed (1sqm of forest purchased for each customer) , well done.

What a privilege it is to write a review for Campbell River Whale Watching and our absolutely outstanding guide, Nova. We could not have asked for better in a tour company. Having gone on many whale watching adventures on Canada's east coast we had what we thought was a great baseline for our expectations. Nova and Campbell River Whale Watching completely blew all other experiences out of the water! Starting with acknowledging the waters in which we were going to travel, to addressing how they were implementing the 94 calls to action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, to the sustainability initiatives and ongoing commitment to learning and growth and the careful measures taken to protect the beautiful wildlife of the waters through which we traveled, we could not have asked for more. Nova was a guide unlike any we have ever met. Her knowledge, passion, kindness, caring and true heartfelt love of the land and sea was the proverbial icing on our adventure cake. The 6 hour tour is a must! From the beautiful stop on Stuart Island and the incredible locally sourced lunch including beautiful sandwiches, cookies and more was beyond what we could have ever asked for. We will be back, we will recommend friends and family and we will continue to say only amazing things about Campbell River Whale Watching. Bravo! You are truly leaders in your field. - Julie, Anne-Marie, Liz and Ben

Went for the whale watching, and we got so much more with it. (Went for the 6 hour one). I love learning about animals and really enjoy learning about just everything involving the biology and whatnot. Our tour guide, Bex, was so absolutely amazing. They were friendly, happy, and most of all knowledgeable on the information regarding the area and animals! We got to see humpbacks, bears, porpoises and eagles! We also got to learn about the areas history etc. It was an amazing experience. Even the red suits we wore were decently comfortable and warm despite the cold air from being on an open boat. Really an amazing experience and I'm so happy to have seen such marvellous and jaw-dropping things.

We had the pleasure of being guided by Captain John and it was amazing! He is full of so much knowledge of the area and animals that learning from him was priceless. We got to see 5 magical whales (we just missed a whale and her calf), sea lions and harbour seals. This tour was worth ever penny and we highly recommend doing your whale tour with CRWW.

An amazing experience, two hour boat trip, top tip sit inside boat unless you’re happy sitting outdoors being blasted by wind and spray. Saw five bears up close, the Indian guides excellent did a great job taking us to known locations. Took 198 photos mainly being a once in a lifetime moment. On the way back the boat crew took us past a colony of sea lions, then onto a humpback whale. Really great company to deal with. Food provided was excellent really enjoyed it.

At first, I was a little hesitant about going on a whale watching tour. I thought I may not get to see much if anything. Boy was I ever wrong! We took the zodiac tour. We go to the same places as the covered boat but get a bumpier ride (which I really enjoyed). We rode up a bit and stopped to see a huge pod (200 individuals) of dolphins. We then went to see sea lions, eagles and seals and finished the tour with a couple of humpback whales. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Robin, our guide was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable and safe. Worth every penny. You will regret missing out.

Amazing afternoon on the water Mar 8, 2022 Highly recommended tour. We had a great day, left the harbour at 13:30 for a 4 hours whale watching tour. Tyler was our guide and he was so informative and helpful to all the guests. Saw lots of sea wildlife including sea lions, seals and the best a family of Orca including a new addition to the family. He was very respectful with the distance between us the whales....greatly appreciated. Will be back again....Thanks

Amazing day! Did the 6 hour tour in the covered boat with our amazing guide Shea. Saw humpbacks, porpoises, and stellar seals! Had a wonderful lunch on Stuart Island. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day on the water! Highly recommend!

September 17, 2022, we experienced a phenomenal trip on the ninja boat with the pink pirate lady Lorill. It was 6 hours of sheer joy for all of us. We saw humpbacks, porpoises, dolphins, loons, harbor seals, eagles, sea lions and incredibly beauty all around us. If you are looking for an adventure of a lifetime Campbell River Whale Watching and Adventure Tours is the company to choose. My favorite part of the trip was when we saw pacific white sided dolphins. Here are a few photos I captured of them.

We did the 6 hour zodiac whale watching and the scenery alone was worth every penny! We were lucky enough to see Killer whales (T), pacific white sided dolphins, humpbacks, black bears, stellar sea lions and harbor seals. No other whale watching experience compares...and we have done many! Thanks Jessica for your stories and local knowledge!!!

The very best people to book your whale or Grizzly trip with!!! We booked a Grizzly viewing trip with Campbell River after being very let down by another company What can I say... 100% professional by all involved with this company. Very well organized & Nothing is too much trouble. We saw orcas as soon as we set off, as well as humpback & seals along the way. An amazing day & saw several Grizzlies including a mommas & her Cub. We even had a Grizzly walk from behind us & pass on by. What a day!!! Thank you to Alex our driver & Zoe our very knowledgeable guide. You two have the best jobs.

Thank you Batman! We had an amazing tour with you. The front desk lady was also lovely and offered us plenty of information. We saw orcas within the first 5 minutes which was highly unlikely but honestly made my year. 3 humpbacks, endless porpoises, dolphins, sea lions and seals. Very informative and I’d highly recommend.

Awesome day whale watching and kayaking! Robin and Nova were professional, knowledgeable and great fun .. Started our day seeing 2 male transient killer whales, and the day just got better and better, seeing 26 killer whales including a pod of 14 from our Kayaks - the information about the area, the wildlife and whales was fantastic. Great equipment and lunch, highly recommend this company. Thanks for the many laughs, information and the whale watching experience of a life time! We’ll be back!

Did a 6 hour whale watching tour at the beginning of june. We saw a pod of killerwhales hunting a seal, two humpback whales, porpoises, a black bear and a bald eagle. Great lunch included on land where you can see hummingbirds and seals. Our tourguides Steve and Quinn where very knowledgeable and friendly and aboveall seemed just as excited as we where to spot wildlife. I have been whalewatching with other companies in Europe, South- / North - America and also on Vancouver Island; this is as good as it gets!

We went on a Grizzly Tour to Bute Inlet. It was mind blowing and amazing. The tour was perfectly organized, we stopped several times for wildlife (humpbacks, seals) on the way. As we arrived at the Bute Inlet, we got a very high-quality lunch served consisting out of a wrap, cookies, granola bar, dried fruits and coffee/tea/hot chocolate. All homemade. The bear viewing part was simply mind blowing. Super nice and friendly guides explaining the history, the behaviours of the bears and providing lots of information about their culture and the region. We saw several bears fishing for salmon, even a mom with two cubs. We had lots of time with the bears at several viewing points. The guides on the boat are super professional and the friendliest people ever. Yes, it is an expensive tour, but it is so worth every penny! We will definitely do it again!! We absolutely recommend it to make your trip unforgettable.

Right at the beginning, the absolute highlight of our vacation: we had booked a 4 Hour Whale and Wildlife Zodiac Tour. Our guide was Taylor W. He was very responsible with the many whales we saw. Always kept the distance and rather drove back than closer. The great conclusion on the return trip was then a big eagle on a buoy. Thank you for the impressive tour. We can only recommend the tour.

We did the Kayak/whale watching trip combo with Robin and Nova. What an absolutely fabulous day! We saw roughly 26 Orcas. We couldn’t have asked for more professional yet fun guides. Thank you for a great trip!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ We had an amazing day with Dave and his wife! We saw loads of humpbacks, killer whales, dolphins and seals. The eagle β€œshow” was the icing on the cake.
