This place is a gold mine for hijabi women. There is a sectioned off area (pictured) specifically for Muslim women who cover. If you're a hijabi woman living in London, you know how few places there are like this. I visited this salon on Saturday 27th May and saw Ayshe for a haircut. I was running late but she saw me anyway. This salon is their flagship store. There's a cafe and they have a range of services including facials, massages, waxing etc. After I discussed with Ayshe what I wanted, I got my hair washed and scalp massaged by Ruby which was relaxing. Overall, I'm really pleased with my haircut and the service I received. I wasn't worried that someone was going to walk into the private area either. The haircut cost me £80 which is cheaper than Harrods where I paid £110. I'm going again in June to get my hair coloured. The only downside I would say is the employees work on commission so they upsell you products. I understand they have to do this as part of their job but it can be a bit frustrating. Tips - Book a free consultation and patch test if you're getting your hair coloured - If you have thick hair, book a "style and prep" service. Your appointment will be 1 hour and 30 minutes (usually 1 hour) with no extra cost. The only catch is you have to add on a treatment which will cost you £15. - There are stylists of all levels e.g. New talent or master technician. I went for a master technician. If you're strapped for cash, go for new talent or someone a little higher. Thanks Aveda for your inclusivity 😊

Booked in person and the lady taking my booking seemed inconvenienced and didn't seem to think I'd turn up, obviously I look more sketchy than I realised! She just stared at me, it was odd. Very pleasant stylist but this was not a good cut. It was done by the book and not to flatter me or what I requested - very awkward looking layers that simply look like a shelf and when I explicitly said half an inch ONLY off the length, I'm missing a lot more than that. The cost of these appointments means it should be a very good cut, and never anything less than a good cut. Sick of these places charging a fortune and not delivering. **Revision to comment - customer service excellent and have since put this right.

I booked in for a complementary scalp and hair consultation just before Christmas. I was having issues with scalp sensitivity and hair loss and a friend recommended this salon. I was seen by a lovely lady called Vilma. She was empathetic and professional and was happy to take time to answer my many questions. She used the IPad and hair camera to show me in great detail what the problem was. She recommended a range of products, but wasn't pushy, and explained how to use them and what effects they may have. I purchased what she suggested, the Nutriplenish range and my hair and scalp since using them has felt so much better. Enjoyed it thoroughly and came back with some products recommendations, tailored to my skin. Particularly impressed with the facial.I’m usually a hair care customer, and this has been a pleasant addition to my over 20 years of experience of Aveda, across multiple countries.

Olivier was really great. My hair came in damaged and experiencing hair loss because of hair extensions. Before we even started, I got a massage, 💆‍♀️ something I didn't even know I needed till I had it. On to the hair wash, it was gentle and also done properly. I could feel my hair getting weightless and feeling clean. And because I have eczema on my scalp, the shampoo and conditioner did not irritate it. The hair cut, I had mid back hair and we went for a bob. Olivier discussed my hair choice in detail and understood the issue I was having with my hair and what I want. Reset my hair to a healthy look so I can regrow it stronger. And amazingly he knew I suffer from low iron as my hair look it and recommended getting supplements (obviously to do my research and speak to a professional). We talked about anything and everything and still he concentrated on making my hair cut flawless. We finished the bob and he recommended a bit of trimming to even out the look to make the style. Each stage we went through, he told me what we were doing. I felt very included in the haircut and styling. I am definitely going to come again when my hair grows a bit more and I need a trim from Olivier.

My haircut and styling today with Angelo was exceptional. Ive been to this Aveda salon a couple times and today was my favourite day. He was welcoming and kind with amazing communication. We spoke about what I had in mind but I gave him complete creative freedom and all I can say is wow. The haircut and styling was perfect, a perfect refresher to add an illusion of layers and volume to frame my face. A plus is he gives the best scalp massages when washing hair. I read somewhere that a stylists earn commission by selling aveda products post appointment. Angelo suggested some products that would help with my hair as I inquired, but did not once persuade or push me to purchase anything, which I very much appreciate and I know others would too. He is an amazing and kind professional with a huge smile that will make your day. I highly urge you to book with Angelo if you’d like a smooth process and quality haircut, I felt welcomed, happy and relaxed. Thank you Angelo once again ☺️

I had the amazing pleasure of a haircut with Angelo and what can I say but… Wow! From the moment I got there it was an exceptional experience. The massage prior to the haircut was amazing. Never had anything like it. The tea was delicious and the ambiance of the salon is amazing. I am sure I have actually never had a better haircut. I just want to go out and about so people can see my new hair. Five stars for Angelo indeed.

Amazing experience. May, the lady who did my pedicure, was friendly, professional and with attention to detail. The most relaxing pedicure I’ve ever had. The salon was very clean and it smelled lovely. Ask for May and you’ll receive a great experience! I’ll definitely recommend her to my friends ⭐️

Angelo has cut my hair (fine, long, relatively straight) twice now and both times have been the best haircut I’ve ever had. I used to be one of those people who despise getting their hair cut, but Angelo has changed that for me. He always gives me a cut that looks amazing and is easy to style on my own (although I can’t do it nearly as well he does it!). Also, both times he taught me a little styling trick which I really appreciate. I honestly can’t imagine getting my hair cut by anyone else - he’s amazing!!

I had a great experience at Aveda salon during my first visit last week. The salon was busy, but everyone was nice and friendly. I had a haircut with Angelo who is one of the most talented hair stylists I’ve ever encountered. He carefully listened and delivered exactly what I wanted. I will certainly be returning soon!

Hair service was amazing, you can tell that they have expertise and my stylist asked someone more senior to double check smth so you can see that they care about doing a good job. I'd definitely recommend, however I found it quite surprising that all the towels used are single use and not reusable. Upon enquiry, the salon confirmed that they are biodegradable and that washing them uses more energy. So kudos for trying to be more sustainable!
