Fantastic experience while staying in the Cancun area. We stayed across the street at the Royal UNO, so this was perfect walking distance for us. I took my 6 year old son, and it was perfect for kids. The tour actually offers a lot more then just the fantastic boat ride and snorkeling. It also includes a mini garden jungle walk, and Mayan show which was fantastic, and lunch was included as well. All and all, I would recommend this attraction, especially for the price. Snorkeling is only 30 minutes, which could have been a bit longer, but was still amazing. Don’t forget to bring tip money, and extra cash for the photos they take along the way.

This is a really well orchestrated fun tour. The organisers do a great job of keeping everyone motivated and well looked after. It's a good mix of different activities. We did this mainly for the speedboats but also enjoyed the Mayan ceremony, jungle walk, snorkelling and light lunch at the end of the trip. The speedboats were so much fun - especially when we were allowed to go full speed! We spent more time snorkelling on the reef than expected which felt safe due to the life jackets provided. Make sure you bring some cash to tip the staff!

I was very disappointed with this event - Mayan Jungle Tour. First, we were picked up from the hotel 40 minutes later. Second, we were not told that it was the last time to change into a swimsuit for the reef. I had to swim in the reef in my blouse. The organization was very bad. I really liked the reef itself, lots of beautiful fish and plants. This event could have been given more time. My husband enjoyed the speedboats. The food that was included in the ticket was not tasty.

I had an incredible experience at Puerto Maya in Cancun. The Mayan jungle tour was enjoyable because of the friendly and knowledgeable tourist guide. The speedboat ride offered stunning ocean views, and the snorkeling experience provided views of diverse marine life and beautiful coral reefs. Lastly, the tour package ended with a complimentary and delicious Mayan meal.

I love everything about my time at Puerto Maya!!! I like that they gave you the option to participate in the ritual or not to participate. Being a passenger princess on the speed boat was just amazing. I got to see and enjoy the view while my man drove. When we got to the snorkeling area the guide was helpful and patient with all the guests especially the two kids that came with a family of four. I can’t swim and my tour guide made me feel comfortable enough to go in the water and bob around for a bit and then helped me back on the boat. My man enjoyed the snorkeling and talked about the quality of the reefs compared to some he has seen before. When we got back to the docks they had outdoor showers and towels for us to use. We then head back to the main areas for light snacks. Overall it was a really good experience and their picture package was not as expensive as some of the other tours we have been on. Tip: try to be in the boat behind the tour guide so you don't get stuck behind someone moving really slow.

This was a great experience. The boat ride was fun and the snorkeling was beautiful. The people that work this place could not have been nicer and more helpful. Highly recommend taking this tour!

The Jungle cruise was so much fun! The staff were incredibly entertaining and informative. I wish I could remember everyone we met (Harry, Daphne, Esteban). Everyone was lovely.

Such a cool experience! The team is so well organized and efficient. The boat tour is so much fun, and the snorkeling around the coral reef is so cool. We saw a sting ray, so many colorful fish and an underwater statue! Our guide was so nice and efficient as well. The food at the end was the cherry in top! Definitely recommend this experience. Oooh and the Mayan show is really nice!

Such a great excursion that we added to our cancun vacation. Perfect length of time. Loved the resort pick up and drop off. Snorkeling was a first time experience and was so much fun. The Mayan show before the speedboat experience was so entertaining and funny. And the speedboats were obviously fun! I was having more fun than my passengers, by riding on the edge of the wakes the boats in front of me created. Made for lots of fun jumps. Lol. The gift shop was really cool and had decent prices.

Captain Fox was awesome. Made sure we were all safe and sound. Helped my wife get in and out of the water and helped everyone safely around the corel reef. The Mayan dancers and ceremony was beautiful. 💯 recommended to take this tour.

Awesome tour! Highly recommended! Visited with my 5 and 7 year old and they loved it. They weren’t able to do the snorkeling but did jump in the water around the boat and went for a swim for a while. Our tour guide was Maui and he was a great guide. The food was good but we didn’t book the trip for the food so it was an added bonus. Will visit again next time we’re in Cancun!

A really good trip! Highly recommended. This was a light introduction into a Malay welcome and dancing; followed by a mini walk in tree-lined area, like a jungle but no mosquitos 🤪 and a fun wobbly bridge to cross. The boat trip (as a convoy, family groups in separate boats) was superb...and then there was a good period for snorkeling...tge equipment had been provided (single-person use items). We returned to starting point in the same boats and were welcomed by refreshing shower facilities and towels, and snack meal and drink. Everything was well organised and safety aspects were all in place (I particularly take note of things like this). They also take photos throughout and make a video, including using a drone ...terrific stuff...without being intrusive. This can be purchased at the end, if one wishes. Well done and thank you to the whole team for a very memorable and enjoyable time.

It was a wonderful trip we did quite a few activities and shows. Paragliding, ATV, horse back riding, speed boat driving Mayan jungle tour etc... The customer service was outstanding and the people so very friendly. A divine time was had by all.

Amazing place, wonderful experience, this place is a must for anyone that goes on vacation to Cancun, wonderful people and services.

This is a great option for couples, families or friends looking to do a boat excursion. You do get a boat to yourself but have to follow in groups of boats so patience is required. Included is a ritual blessing for each group, snorkling and food at the end of the trip which is bland and not good but the overall experience of exploring the waters of Mexico is pretty cool. The staff are beyond professional and friendly. Great Tour 🏆

It was a lot of fun, starting out with a Mayan ceremony "hiking" through Mayan ruin replicas, driving speed boats (must be 18+ to drive) out to snorkeling reef! It was a lot of fun. We chose not to eat the food after visiting the restroom only to discover an employee washing the toilet with her broom and she then proceeded to sweep the floor with the same cleaning tool. I hope it was an isolated incident. Our guide, Maui, was great!

You MUST book a tour with them if you’re in Cancun! We had an amazing time doing all the activities and the staff were so sweet, hospitable, and had a great sense of humor! Juanito was also very kind and made us all feel comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Loved this excursion! Great price for what you get: friendly guides, a cultural interactive experience that’s just long enough without droning on, the adventure of getting to drive a speedboat all alone, and comfortable up close snorkeling with friendly fish all around. Felt safe and taken care of the whole time. I recommend bringing REEF SAFE SUNSCREEN so you can stay safe and protect the wildlife. If you bring a hat or sunglasses, make sure you have a strap, the boats go super fast! They provide all equipment that you’ll need and you get to keep the snorkel. Also, Juanito and Mawi were great on our tour! Thanks so much!

This was the only excursion we did on vacation (mangrove boats and snorkeling) and it was a blast. Maui was our captain and he made sure all were safe and having fun.

Almost die in its snorkeling. I was pushed and lose in the sea by big waves, only one guide and he just focused on the main crowd, my husband came by and tried to get me back we both ran out of power, we yelled to the guide but he did nothing. In the end a guy on a boat passed by and saved us. It was oct 9 2022, most of water activities were canceled in Cancun due to bad weather, they still did snorkeling at 2:30(legal or not to run snorkeling under weather warning?)But turned out the wave was still too big for me (not tall girl with less weight). I cannot imaged if I was too tired and fainted without my hunsband came, probably die!

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The experience was great. Maui is a great funny dude. But customer service does not exist. I’m having issues accessing my photos and sent an email to the address they provided but no response. I sent several emails but no one even bothers responding. I paid for the full photo and video package but I can’t even access it. It’s sad cause those photos are our memories. DISAPPOINTING.

The minds were very nice the program was cool but the boat rides the best it might be an organized by a definite fund

We didn't get to snorkel much as we were the only two in our group that could swim. The boats are fun but wish we had a little more time in the actual water

Lovely day out in the heart of Cancun hotel zone (km 16.5). Activity started with a quick introduction from our inland guide Hector in Spanish and English. He detailed the program and kindly asked us to participate each element of the program. First there's a short purification ceremony under the canopy of mangrove trees involving local "Mayan wizards". They even teach you some original Mayan words. Then a short dancing and running through the forest to warm you up for the main attraction. That's where the land attraction finished and the group walked to the marina to gear up for the speed boat ride!!! Even if you never drove a boat, not alone a speed boat, this is something you'll learn quick and enjoy a lot for sure. The staff is friendly and helpful during the preparation where you'll get the life jacket and your snorkeling gear. In both case there's a proper selection and snorkel pipes are sealed new. There's a short instruction talk about the boats and how to behave on the water, and short after you're already in the driving seat and speeding through the lagoon and mangrove. The ride is about 20min in one direction and the finish point is out on open sea docking point where you can leave the boat for a short snorkeling experience on the 2nd biggest coral reef on earth. Breathtaking experience. Again, if you never snorkel before is not a problem. Life jacket must be on full time, so you can comfortably float around and enjoy the hundreds of fish and beautiful corals with minimum effort. Once snorkeling finished you're back to your boat and speeding back to the marina for a lovely fresh water shower before you invited to an authentic Mexican cuisine (including soft drink). Very well organized, at no point boring or feel unsafe. Lovely experienced team through the whole activity with good English. Tips and professional photos are not included, but both highly recommended.

Great place for a Jungle Tour! Staff was amazing! Snack provided was delicious! Souvenir shop was reasonably priced and the photos taken were really professional! Only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because the snorkeling was only 20 minutes. Wish it could've been longer.

If you don't go check this place out while you are out vacationing in cancun you are going to regret it. One of the best and funnest things I decided to do was to book a great experience with Mayan Tours. From the traditional mayan vibe cleansing to the speed boats racing through the coast of the mayan peninsula to your snorkeling destination a great experience you will never forget or regret. If I could give them 10 starts I would.!!! Shout out to the tour guide Mauwi and to my brotha form another motha Juan Pablo for recommending this place.

We had an excellent time! From the Mayan dance, to the speed boats, snorkeling, and back for lunch. Everyone was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and very helpful! We would highly recommend them, and will definitely do this tour again next time we're in Mexico.

Snorkeling was sub par as the reef is essentially dead looking but still neat to see but the boats were absolutely awesome! I could do that for hours and want to buy one.

Had a wonderful time. Mayan show was very vibrant and the speed boat tour was very adventurous. We'll do this one again.
