This place is amazing! From the food to the service. Top-notched! Even better than high end American’s restaurants. We ordered Jumbo Shrimp and Fresh Oysters for appetizers. Then, the grilled fresh-catched sea-bass of the day that, they brought out for us to pick. The Surf-n-Turf was delicious, lobster was so good and the steak was cooked just right! Our waiter, Jesus was so nice!!! His service was great. He cooked the Flamed Desert Crepe for us. Everyone in the restaurant is super nice!! If I visit Cancun again, I’ll definitely be back!

A rare 5 star experience. The view was wonderful. The food, each course, delicious (not to mention the generous portions) and the service? We couldn't have asked for anything better, attentive but not annoyingly so!

The water-side building is a tribute to the restored Puerto Madero of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and perfectly balances the use of dark woods, brick & glass. The charcoal grill enhances the unique flavor of Prime meats and a variety of seafood. Classy ambience with a yacht club atmosphere. Super service & lovely views from the deck make for a fine dining experience.

Amazing experience ... you rarely get a view with quality food and kind waitstaff and this was definitely the restaurant for that. Everyone at our table was satisfied with their meal including two kids and a vegetarian. The wait staff were warm and welcoming. They definitely enhanced our experience by being kind and accommodating with the couple of request we made. The Caesar salad dressing was made table side and has been the best I've had. The rib eye steak had so much flavor and was so tender 10/10 recommend. The cheesecake was a win for everyone. Initially all but one wanted to skip dessert but when the cheesecake arrived we realized it was too good to pass on so much so that there wasn't a morsel left. It was comical to watch as we all grabbed a spoon and almost lunged to get a piece of it. The tuna tartar was also a win and more filling than expected.

We were treated like royalty. We were very impressed with service and food quality and appreciated the birthday celebration for my husband.

Dinner by the water was one of our favorite meals in Cancun. The setting is beautiful. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We shared the Caesar salad which was made table side from scratch. We also shared oysters, the grilled octopus and the baby lobster tails. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Amazing empandas, you should ask because sometimes they have more flavors than what you can see on the menu. We ordered several items and ate them as a group. But you really need to get an empadana per person. Aaa yes the French fries come in a edible potatoes basket. Really good.

A very nice steak and seafood place right on the marina. They had jumbo lobster which was excellent but a bit salty. The staff is fast and very courteous. Bring money though

We stumbled upon this amazing restaurant and returned the following night with a larger group. This place packs a punch. A menu worthy of exploring with a friendly service eager to share their knowledge and serve. This is possibly one of the best ambiance, food and service in the region. Enjoy!

Amazing place. Honestly probably the best restaurant I have been to. Atmosphere is right on the water and phenomenal. They have a person make custom cocktails right next to your table. When I ordered wine they brought someone out who seemed to really know wine to explain some things. The service was outstanding. We were there for almost three hours but it didn't feel like it because they make you feel at home. The food is served on awesome presentation boards too.

Me and my husband celebrated our 13th anniversary here. And it was absolutely amazing 👏 the food was fabulous and the service and atmosphere was awesome. Our waiter Daniel was just amazing what a great restaurant we will definitely be back thank you Puerto Madero for making our evening wonderful 😀 😊

Oh my gosh this has got to be the best restaurant I have ever been to! The service was perfect and I mean perfect. The menus so much to choose from’ the food was extremely delicious from bread and sauces to the appetizer to the meal. Hands down will be eating here again before our vacation is over

One of the best experiences we've had anywhere. The atmosphere is perfect, the view is beautiful, the staff is incredible but the food is the real star here. Everyone communicated clearly and waited on us like we were royalty. The Wagyu Ribeye was perfection. The clam chowder was creamy and delicious. The king crab tacos were unbelievable. Every bite was pure pleasure. We will most definitely be back on every visit to Cancun, don't miss the opportunity to dine here and enjoy the perfection of fine dining.

The ambiance and views are breathtaking esp. at sunset. The service makes you feel you are their only guest. The food is delicious and carefully prepared and served. With multiple food allergies we felt well taken care of.

The service is top class in this restaurant! We celebrated my birthday here and ordered the whole seabass fried with rice. It was delicious as well as the mocktail drinks, but the potato souffles were lacking. They weren't crispy, but a little soft and soggy. We had a gorgeous view of the marina from our seats. I only wish I had brought a cigar to enjoy on the terrace.

So this is a very nice , upscale restaurant. However , I feel they are a little sneaky pushing the bottled Evian water when we just wanted regular water . It’s $10 USD a bottle for Evian vs $0 for regular water . That’s a little ridiculous imo. However the rest of the meal was good and the bday cake slice at the end was yummy.

First of all, Those potatoes puffs/ soufflés are to die for. Airy, crispy, light and perfectly salted. Now , as my main I’ve had the crab tortellini. Handmade pasta stuffed With Alaskan king crab in a Very creamy white sauce. I loved how they added to diced tomatoes as a palate cleanser in the white sauce. It perfectly cut through the richness of the sauce and balanced it in a beautiful way. I’ve also asked for a spicy sauce to cut through the richness further and add a kick to the dish, I loved how they made a special spicy sauce in the kitchen to allow me to do just that. Service was impeccable. Manuel was the man. I’ve read some bad reviews from this place, and I understand circumstances are different- but I am a tough critic. The chefs here know what they are doing and it shows in every bite. The servers are super fast paced and kind and it’s a beautiful sight. Give it a chance. You’ll love it. —— edit I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I came the day after, there was a a slight mix up I wasn’t happy with the coffee, Christian the « capitan » came and made it himself table side. Which remind me of you have an issue voice it out. They do want to make you happy. Don’t wait until you leave. This place has an Amazing Amazing service and even better food… somewhat that’s possible. This time around I had the Buenos Aires salad + flan and the flavors and textures where just so balanced & Daniel my server was very attentive to my needs. I’ll miss Cancun, but I’ll miss puerto Madero even more ❤️

Ok, hands down one of the BEST restaurants we have ever been to! Every person at our table, 7 in total, were beyond impressed with their food. We ate several things—white fish, ribeye, surf n turf, king crab tortellini and fettuccine ragout. Also had a few appetizers; oysters, garlic shrimp and provoleta cheese. Everything was soooooo good! Cocktails were incredible too! Atmosphere is awesome—excellent music, super clean, soft lighting and fabulous service!!! Don’t ponder checking this place out—it’s worth every penny/peso!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My pictures didn’t do this place justice unfortunately…sigh.

After trying this restaurant in April we decided to come back for our 40th anniversary dinner this September. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and nice views for the sunset. We had the garlic shrimp for an appetizer which was very good I had the 14oz filet and my wife had the pasta for dinner both were great. Daniel and Edson were were very attentive. We got an anniversary dessert from the restaurant

This was hands down my favorite meal in a long time! The staff was so attentive, Alex and Felipe really made sure that we were taken care of and were very hospitable and welcoming. We enjoyed their recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing, we got the ribeye and baby lobster. The steak was better than any US steakhouse I’ve been to so far, it was so tender, a perfect medium rare, and had great marbling. It was presented beautifully to us along with the lobster. We sat outside and had a view of the lagoon which was perfect for celebrating our anniversary. This is a meal we won’t forget, thank you to Puerto Madero for making our last night in Cancun one we won’t forget!

One of my favorite Cancun restaurants. The meat is amazing. Service is excellent and the balcony is perfect to have a sunset dinner. If you want the top tier romantic dinner experience here, this place fulfilled that niche with bells on.

I’ve been to many fine dining places around the world, but this was an exceptionally special visit. We got the table-side caesar salad and it was so unique and delicious! My fiancé’s steak melted in your mouth and the local sea bass I had was phenomenal. The blintzes dessert was impeccable as well. Prices are a little high but it’s justifiable considering the quality of the food. The service was so friendly and professional, i recommend this to anyone visiting Cancún. Dont miss this!

Another fine dining experience Cancun holds top tier restaurants. Puerto Madero is definitely on that list with unique menu you cannot go wrong ..... gonna have to try the steak next time I'm around looked succulent but you can judge for yourself check them out .....CHE'

Lovely location on the water. Very good service. Prime Rib Eye tacos, Chilean Sea Bass were both very good. Hot chocolate souffle was also very good.

Puerto Madero is outstanding! The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Reserve a room outside and watch the sun set over the lagoon. Will definitely return!

Our favorite spot in Cancun by a land slide! The service is absolutely amazing! Captain Christine and his crew were so hospitable and friendly! The food is so good you have to get appetizers, dinner, dessert and coffee. My taste buds were having an absolute party. The empanadas and garlic shrimp were my fav appetizers. I had the house fish with veggies and my wife had the baby lobster. Both were so tasty and cooked to perfection. The crepe was made right in-front of you along with the coffees. Such a fun experience. If I could give higher then 5 stars I would. Can’t wait to come back to Cancun just to eat here. Cheers Christian! Thanks for a great evening.

While staying at the Hard Rock, we went here for an Anniversary Dinner! It was super close to our hotel! The ambiance is top noch..lighting excellent and romantic and the marina view was excellent. We were right by the window and it was great! The food was excellent and service too! The food was fresh and delicious. We order. Arracherra and Sea Bass both top quality! Creme Brulee, Alfajor (was huge we shared), and the ITALIAN COFFEE was to die for! Premium show and tasted amaazingggggg!!!! Their wine selection is huge. If you go down by the restrooms you can access the Marina. We saw fireworks and enjoyed every minute of it!
