If you can go to a different resort, I would! Service was semi-friendly but extremely lacking. Bartenders at the pool make drinks when they feel like it and there’s only 3 restaurants on property other than the buffet. The staff monitors how much room service you order even though all restaurants close at 10pm other than the sports bar. The food is just okay nothing to write home about. My husband and I booked the diamond club for three nights then upgraded to the presidential suite thinking the service would be improved and honestly it wasn’t worth it. Although it’s an all inclusive the entire staff only moves with urgency if they are being tipped. We don’t mind tipping but for every drink and meal defeats the point of being at an all inclusive. I hope this reaches some of you. Especially if you look like me.

Stayed here for a much needed reset from life and for the most part I enjoyed my stay. This property is right on the beach and you will have access to beach chairs with great views that are plentiful. I did not have Diamond Club access but outside of being able to get a drink at the rooftop pool and not receiving premium liquor, I couldn't tell the difference; service was provided at the beach for both food and drinks. Pros: Breakfast buffet had several food options and a wide variety of fruit. Rooms are big and spacious, oceanfront view is a breath of fresh air. Vibe Team did a great job keeping everyone engaged (Evelyn and Angel were fantastic)! Cons: Pool closes at 7 pm daily. My room was cleaned even when I had the do NOT service sign on the door. Beach is shared with many other resorts including some that are family friendly. Jamil at the front counter during the night shift, should definitely receive additional training on customer service as this was one of the unpleasant experiences I had during the stay. The food is okay. The sports bar was really the only place to get food past 9 pm. Everything but the steak was good at the steak restaurant, not sure how the steakhouse cant make steak? That was very interesting. During my meal, I saw several other guest with steak issues and not eating it as well so it wasn't just me.

I loved this hotel, but I will add the caveats that you might want to consider while staying here. I'd consider this place a semi party to party hotel. I came with a bunch of girlfriends so we had a great time! They play music at the pool and there's a little club on the 3rd floor, but only goes until midnight. I didn't make it to Level 18 because we had excusions planned during the days and it's not open at night, so keep that in mind when planning. The diamond club might had been worth it if we spent all our vacation at the hotel, but since we didn't, I wouldn't recommend. The food wasn't too bad - I had some steak from steakhouse and it was decent (not mind blowing) but still good flavor. The buffet was good too - lots of stations for everything. If you're going to get room service, consider that the snacks will be small portions (maybe order 2). The drinks were great. You can literally order anything you want, but nothing top shelf unless you want to pay more. The service was great - everyone was really helpful and nice. The rooms were super cute! A great view of the water if you get a beach facing view and the beds and pillows were fine. Overall, great trip! I'd definitely come here again and really just stay at the hotel and enjoy the proximity of the beach and great swim up bar.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay before Christmas. The rooms and hotel was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. The beach access and pools were great and definitely worth the stay. There were a few things that took it from 5 to 4 stars... The food being the biggest one. Everything was average, and the service in the Asian restaurant was extremely slow even though it was half full. It was 40 minutes between when I received my entree and when my boyfriend got his. Portion sizes were very small throughout the resort (order 3 items per person to make it the size of a normal meal in the US). The room service was very good and fast, and we ended up getting this for dinner most nights. The water in the bathroom had an odd, strong smell. The premium liquor was worth ordering from them bars that had it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend staying there.

I stayed at this hotel for a week in June and it was absolutely amazing. The rooms were massive with two sinks and a big balcony. Comfy beds. Charging ports TV everything. The hotel staff were lovely . Pool was lively everyday and bar staff were continually making drink. Sea is beautiful and blue. The food shops are just exceptional there is a cute coffee shop that serves ready made sandwiches ice cream coffees biscuits chocolates it’s not all just buffet menus. The hotel is huge and so clean. Everything is done on a wristband so no key cards needed. Hotel has a rooftop that has parties everyday . So many restaurants, you can walk to the strip. Good excursions you can book through hotel. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

My wife and I recently stayed here and absolutely loved it! It was our first time in Cancun and Royalton CHIC was a great ambassador. The hotel lobby is very modern and clean with live music and great drinks every night the outdoor pool and beach area was really quite amazing. Great service on the ocean and inside at the pool. There was a swim in a pool bar, that serve drinks, but became very crowded during the day. Lots of other bars outside the pool, so not a problem to get drinks. They would have a special food grilled throughout the day that tasted fantastic and really felt authentic. The rooms are clean and spacious with fantastic views, if you are facing the ocean! I would definitely recommend to a friend and would love to come back one day.

Overall, I definitely would rate this resort 4/5! The only downside for us was the check in process, we didn't get a king size bed, and the shower smelled bad. The service outside of the front desk was immaculate! The food was overall pretty good! The drinks were really good! The entertainment was so fun! I would come back to this resort! It was a good time! Please see the rest of the review for more details on our entire stay!

Upon arrival we were greeted by some of the friendly staff and they took our luggage to our room and offered a complimentary cocktail drink. We needed upgrading to diamond club. Jesus, our butler was great! He made sure our reservations and accommodations were set. We stayed 7 nights, 8 days. The first two nights we didn’t have a butler but the 3rd night we met Jesus and he took great care of us. The restaurants were good. My favorite is Agave, authentic Mexican food. They needed up changing their menu the day before we left so not sure how things taste now. Beautiful views. Wonderful entertainment and staff. Only thing I didn’t like was the Level 18 rooftop, they wanted you to pay for everything up there (whether diamond club or not). Other than that…. We had an amazing anniversary here at Royalton Chic and will most definitely come back to stay here again!

Went in June 2022. Room for me could be a little cleaner - some areas of the hotel need upgrading. Food was disappointing - might be my palette. Preferred the buffet outside to most of the restaurants. Good service, overall but room service is a little slow (hence 4 stars). Overall the hotel is very nice - you will not be disappointed. Looking at 5 minutes walk to the main strip. You can find yourself spending the entire holiday in the hotel -- lots of good company via the guests. Adults only but nothing "rauncy". Main age group 21 to 35/40 (at a push). Excellent bar staff throughout the hotel. I have to praise the Gym, great facilities. The entertainment was excellent - love the foam parties

My wife and I stayed in this Hotel in mid September 2022 and had a blast. The food is unbelievable. I am a fussy eater but I was blown away with the sheer quality and range of food and drink available. The restaurant staff are absolutely brilliant. The waiting staff around the pool and beach are brilliant and rarely did we wait more than a minute or so for a drink. I have to save some special comments for the vibe team. The vibe team are a group of guys & girls who’s job it is to make you enjoy your stay here even more. Evening Karaoke, pool aerobics, beach games, Water polo, Beach strong man, swimming competitions, Pool surfing, Water Balloon catching and loads more activities are tirelessly provided by the team day and night and without doubt the Vibe team made our Holiday much better. We found ourselves constantly having a great laugh with Armando, Christian and Eddie who are constantly trying to ensure everybody is having fun. We simply cannot fault any member of staff at Royalton Chic Cancun or anything about this Hotel. Finally, if you are considering going to Coco Bongo (or anywhere else in Cancun) seek out Adrian Ramirez Perez. He will tell you honestly the pro’s and cons of everything and is so laid back it’s as if he is actually on Holiday himself. One more thing…The level of English spoken by all staff is stunning. They all speak English better than some English blokes I know.

Great location hands down. So I checked in yesterday as a titanium elite member I was asked to pay for the benefits I’m entitled to but that another story. The food is HORRIBLE, I met Ricardo (supervisor), Anna(training) and Alyssa (confused) at the desk the first room I was checked into was not cleaned properly as in there was hair, dirt, sand on floor and the sheets were stained. They was able to move me to another room with no AC maintenance finally showed up and he did fix it but while fixing it the ceiling fan went out but ya just horrible I’m currently checking about 4 day early and looking for another resort. This is my first Marriott property out of the country usually I stay at Hyatt which was sold out so I thought I’d give this a change yep not worth it. I will be putting in a complaint to Marriott oh before I forget the property is on the beach for people who want to know

Honestly can’t wait to stay here again! I stayed here on business for 4 days with a group of 20 moms & it was amazing. Every corner of the resort was picturesque & picture worthy in every way(hence my photo dump). The rooms were also beautiful! Every detail down to the art on the walls was lovely. Even the bathrooms were great, well lit, spacious & had everything I needed & more! I loved that they had some type of entertainment every night. Every pool area was spacious & roomy, not overcrowded with other guests. Can’t reiterate enough how every corner of the place was beautifully designed, I was in awe! Guest services was extremely accommodating. The food & drinks were top tier! Not sure I scratched the surface of what it was like here, but I definitely recommend staying here & I look forward to going back!

Beautiful looking hotel and resort from the exterior, but there were many things not so nice about the experience. Pros: The location was perfect if you were looking for an ocean-view suite or non. Both sides of the hotel face a different waterfront. The ocean view was the best, and the rooms were all properly positioned. The beach was immaculate, which was great. Cons: The hotel was overcrowded, and it was challenging to experience intimate, relaxing moments. There was no private beach. They only had a public beach. The rooms we were in had a lot of issues, with moisture and dampness causing the beds and sofa seats to be wet, including the clothes we hung in the closets. There was a musty smell in the room and hallways. Also, there seemed to be an infestation of cockroaches and mould. Attached is proof in case you don't believe it. When we got home, we had to wash everything in our bags just in case and discard our travel bags. The hotel management doesn't listen when you have complaints, and they did a terrible job. The rooms were expensive, and they charged an additional resort fee every night. We tried to book a spa day, and they refused to take cash despite the staff telling us they could take cash. When we visited the store on the resort, they took cash, which was confusing. Regarding food, They told us initially we didn't need a reservation to book dinners, but each time we went early to have a meal, they asked us for a reservation and then turned us away. We only got to eat at the general buffet, which didn't make sense. People seemed to be paying the staff to get priority treatment, a form of a tip bribe that was weird. It wasn't as if the resort was short-staffed, so the whole situation was suspect. We prepaid for our entire experience. Being a regular visitor to different resorts in Mexico, it was a different experience.

Stay was decent but not sure if we’d come again. Enjoyed having diamond club, made use of going to the exclusive lounge and our butler Charlie was amazing!! whenever we needed help or had any questions he was quick to help. Food wasn’t very good but expected at an all inclusive. The resort looks nice but cheaply made, the room above ours had a leak which resulted to our room ceiling falling apart. Most of the staff were really nice, but we did notice a couple of the buffet evening servers didn’t want to serve us at all if we didn’t have money in front of us.

Things that were great… lots of food and bars to keep you full! Room and view beautiful and shower in the room was the best!! Things I think could use improvement… entertainment, nightly shows were disappointing, pools shut down at 7pm and hotel seemed ghostly quiet and we didn’t find anything to do. If there was things to do If would be nice for the hotel to tell you about them. Some of the staff were less then friendly (mainly pizza place and ice cream place). Most though, especially bar tenders were great! Also our waiter at Asian restaurant was fantastic. All in all we had a great time!

I had a wonderful time all of the staff was friendly from Henry at the door to Sandra our butler she was the best. Edgar was also amazing he worked in the diamond area he treated me like family he was very genuine and polite. Gabino was very kind and attentive he was always smiling and happy. I'm sure I'm missing a few people but the staff truly made my stay worth it. My room was amazing only down fall would be that when I ordered room service (only dinner) it came cold and or old the breakfast was pretty good. But the sky bar had amazing food and the have a huge buffet. The food at the grill was super fresh and good. The salsa at the bar restaurant was thee best. Great selection of souvenirs at the shops and very affordable.. I have them a 5 because 4.75 wasn't available.

Me and my husband came here for our honeymoon. We had a great time. Maria was a great butler she was very attentive and made all of our reservations. She even gave her opinion on places to go outside of the resort. The breakfast was really good. Lunch not so much. The Mexican restaurant was the best. Steak house was good as well. This is definitely a party resort. The bartenders were good for the most part. If you did not have money in hand they paid you no mind. The spa was very nice and relaxing. Diamond club is worth every penny. Bottle service at pool rooftop had a twist top very odd. Go figure. The views were amazing. Overall great resort.

Be careful with the reviews posted on Tripadvisor, they are full of 5* reviews from employees. This hotel is definitely not a 5 stars, not even 4.5. More like 4. Food is really average. Drinks are extremely watered down. Even when you ask for a double, you can barely taste any liquor. Tequila shots taste like water. Pools are small with the unruly and loud crowd that have no manners. Diamond Club is not worth it in general, except if you want to be in a more quiet side of the beach. Beach is great. Cleaned everyday, very little seaweed. Staff in general also is great. No issues with service pretty much everywhere.

Customer service was excellent. Our butler, Jesus took care of us. Our housekeeper was very attentive. They put door decorations on our door for our anniversary which was a big surprise. Little disappointed with the specialty restaurants but the buffet made up for them. The freshness and variety was amazing. Pizza and pastries outside was right on point. Room service took too long 45min to 1hr. We were Diamond members so the lounge (Martin took care of us) and pool service were nice perk during the day to get premium drinks. The top floor pool events and dancers were great. Only wish you didn't have to buy your food or premium drinks. Should be included if you were diamond members. Overall beautiful property and the customer service was excellent!! Would come again.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Royalton CHIC; however, I would not stay here again. The hotel is refurbished and in the hallways and rooms, you can smell mold because of the high humidity. While our suite was large and nice, I woke up after the first night and having lots of trouble breathing. I complained and while they tried to find a new room for me, they put a dehumidifier in the room. After running the dehumidifier for over two hours, the humidity in the room was still 86% which is very unsafe and was definitely the reason for my breathing issues. They moved us to a new room that smelled less moldy and with two dehumidifiers running for the remaining three nights, the humidity came down to 60%. I felt better but the room still had that moldy spell (as do all of the clothes that I had in the room--I've had to wash them twice). All in all, I won't stay here again, and I don't think I will be staying at anymore Autograph Collection hotels as this is the third that i have had issues with. Pros: Mario was our butler. He was great, made all of our dinner reservations and was always available to help address concerns. The rest of the staff was great as well. Diamond Club Bars: Service is great if you tip first. Always ask for a sidecar of whatever liquor is in your drink as the alcohol is definitely watered down at all the bars. The parties were lots of fun. They do a great job keeping the entertainment going and energy up! Cons: Moldy smell in rooms and hallways Food was cold at dinner 3 out of 4 nights (The Mexican restaurant was horrible. All others were pretty good although food was cold) Watered down drinks

My husband and I went on our annual Fall trip. This year we chose Cancun and selected the Royalton CHIC. The exterior is beautiful. The staff is amazing. They are fun and accommodating and the best part , all of the bartenders remember the customers favorite drink! Jesus in the lobby bar was awesome. The food was decent I would suggest an update to the menu at the sport bar. The Royalton Fit team was great, but the gym equipment could use some upgrading. The most disappointing part of our stay was the check in with Alvaro. Alvaro attempted to upsell us to a Presidential Suite by telling us they didn't have any more ocean front suites available. Once we shared that our trip was paid for in advance and we would not pay another dime, like a miracle, a room that we paid for became available. I wasn't completely sure that was what he was up to until I returned to the front desk and heard him do the exact same spiel to another couple. This is a poor representation for the Royalton Chic

Beautiful and clean all inclusive resort. The Mexican restaurant Agave was my favorite place to eat. The ambiance was amazing! We loved the African show. The guys were so enthusiastic and flexible. There was one woman actor who definitely was a staple in the performances. As a titanium member I was given diamond club access which made me feel like a valued Marriott member! The vibe team was my favorite!

I stayed at this resort for 7 days and 6 nights. My experience was horrific. I chose Diamond Club which was a waste of money. My butler was terrible, the check in process was terrible. They ask for a $200 hold on your credit card for incidentals. The hotel hallways smelled of wet mildew and toxic waste. The rooms were subpar and hot. THE AC was out and there were no accommodations made. The hotel was overbooked people were complaining the entire time about rooms not being ready. The beach and the bar staff were top notch. I would not allow my dog to visit this resort. Management nor the butler assisted everyone seemed to be overworked and didn’t display patience. The Italian restaurant was the BEST. Overall, I’d give my stay a 1 out of 10. PROS: Views on top of views. The beach was immaculate, which was great. Italian restaurant and pizza café takeout. Cons: The elevator stops at each floor it doesn’t matter if you are going up or down. The AC was always out and not working. It is set to a certain temperature and can only be pushed up and not down. The hallways smelled wet and dam the entire time. Everyone at the dam hotel was rude and pretended to not speak English. My group and I experienced a lot of racism. My recommendation if you want a great view this is your spot, if you can tolerate tasteless and horrible food this resort is for you.

Really nice resort, however the power kept going out in our rooms. Some of the rooms the power never fully returned. The wait staff was very nice and helpful. However, we paid for Butler service and our supposed Butler named Edi never got in touch with us. Waste of money. The diamond club amenities is not worth the extra money. Take my word for it! The hotel was walking distance from the entertainment strip! We also discovered that you can take the city bus shuttle for a dollar instead of the expensive Taxis. I will not be returning to this resort in the future.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This site will compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! The Mexican restaurant Agave was my favorite place to eat. The ambiance was amazing! We loved the African show. The guys were so enthusiastic and flexible. My fiancé and I stayed here for 3 nights and we had an amazing time. We had an oceanfront room and loved our view. The room was very clean and housekeeping was attentive. The food was fantastic at the restaurants we tried - the Mexican, Asian, and Steakhouse concepts. We also loved the rooftop pool - we had it entirely to ourselves for two of the days. Definitely recommend going up there and escaping the crowd from the main pool. We did a couples massage and really enjoyed the Hydrotherapy experience beforehand. My only complaint would be that our check-in time was delayed by about 45 minutes, but our experience otherwise made up for that. We will definitely be back and are already looking at the other adults-only Royalton options.

We spent 3 weeks at this hotel in diamond club. We had a fantastic time and Alan our butler was so great. Danny and his team at the bar were fantastic but Danny made the best Breakfast Club Cocktail in the world! and I am not a cocktail person. Totally hooked! A great hotel if you want to have a fabulous time in Cancun.

We stayed for a week and were impressed by the overall service, cleanliness and features. We went in September so the hotel wasn't at full capacity and we didn't have any issue getting a seat at the restaurants but it did get hard sometimes to get a shaded spot on the beach. I thought the restaurants were mediocre but loved the buffet restaurant, which offered a variety of cuisines, salads, and fresh fruits. The rooms were nice and service was discreet and efficient.

My wife and I stayed at Royalton Chic Cancun for a week for our honeymoon. The resort was very well kept from the outside in. The beach was seaweed free and the pool was amazing. We were able to watch the sunrise every morning at breakfast. It was breath taking. The food at the restaurant Elements, was always good. The drinks were well made too. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the activities they had during the day. We did encounter one staff member in the restaurant Hunter, who treated us as if we were at a fast food restaurant and he had no time or interest in dealing with us. While it was Valentine’s Day and very busy, we waited an hour for our seat and another hour for our food. The waiter was completely rude to us but I noticed he was very friendly and attentive to the tables next to us. He never checked to see if our food came out well, if we even liked the food or needed anything else. We left unsatisfied. We met another couple who had the same experience with him. I hate to think it was a race thing but it certainly appeared that way. I would not recommend the Hunter Steakhouse due to the poor service and mediocre food. This is not a reflection of the entire Royalton, just one bad experience.

This resort checked every box! The property is amazing. Spacious, well planned out, simply perfect. I can’t say enough about the staff, they were incredible. Very attentive to our needs, friendly, helpful and courteous. One specific employee who always made our day was Sabrina from activities. What an asset to have part of your team. Always smiling and greeting us with a hug. She would literally search for us to make sure we were having a great time. I truly wish I could find something to complain about but I can’t. We would love to try other resorts next time we visit Cancun but decided not to since this place far exceeded our expectations. We will be back to Royalton Chic Cancun.

We stayed for my birthday! We were allowed to upgrade upon arrival which made our experience even more amazing! I’m sure even without the upgrade we would have had the best time! All the staff were so helpful and polite They helped us learn Spanish but we’re also very patient with the little that we knew and conversing in English The pools were fantastic and clean! The beach was pleasant! The entertainment was welcoming to all guests

Fantastic. Room is amazing. Breakfast buffet is so good. Hard to choose as so many things. Mexican restaurant was really good. Limited choices but very tasty. Excursions seem pricey at around 140 to 150 usd per person but maybe worth shopping around. Main road behind gives a lot of noise but not an issue. Beach View is stunning. Highly recommend a week here.

Had an amazing time here! The staff were very friendly. Martin, one of the bartenders at the bar near the pool, is very nice and made amazing drinks. - For food, La Hacienda has incredible Mexican food and the fruits at the buffet were delicious. - The hotel is located at the north of the hotel strip so the beach is pretty quiet. - One suggestion is to have more activities at the hotel or at least make the pools open at night. Overall really liked our stay at Royalton and would definitely go back.

Came for my birthday two weeks ago and this resort is absolutely beautiful! This was my first time out of the country and I felt incredibly safe. Very close to the “strip” probably a 10 min walk from night clubs etc. service here was amazing and respectful. Best food was the 3rd floor sports bar. And the buffet isn’t bad just wait for fresh food from cooks. Very beautiful will be back. 3rd floor every night is soooo much fun with music and dance parties. And it goes down at the foam parties on the rooftop !! Cheers!

I recently went to Royalton for my friends birthday and I will not be returning to this resort as from the start the customer service was horrible. We had mentioned prior to coming that we are celebrating a birthday and there are 9 girls who would like to be on the same floor. Upon arrival they are claiming there are no notes, took over an hour to get our rooms ready and only had 2 of the rooms on the same floor. Two of our friends have a high ranking with Marriot and they could not honour that nor could they accommodate our group properly for reservations and if they did we were given a table closer to closing where we were constantly rushed to order our food. One of the rooms when we entered was not cleaned properly, the toilet kept having issues, the shower handle was loose and we just kept having to call maintenance daily. The Royalton for special occasion tends to hang banners on their guests door and for us there was nothing done even after telling them countless of times we are celebrating a birthday but other people on our floors had banners for honeymoon, anniversary and birthday. When we asked for a banner they told us we have no more... yet the day after we arrived another room on our floor got a happy birthday banner but there was none for our room when we arrived the day before... NO accommodations were made for us throughout the whole trip... the guests services were giving us the run around the whole trip. We did have an amazing experience with Jonathan outside at the poolside service he always made sure we were taken care of and smiling! In the end I would not recommend this resort as they clearly prioritize "diamond" members and clearly saw us as low status. For a 5 star hotel their service is below average and should rethink their rating.

Definitely upgrade to the Diamond Club. Maria, our Butler was very helpful. Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. Food was excellent and your butler can make reservations for you. Spa was relaxing and staff attentive. Quick room service. Couple things to consider with the Diamond Club, you may have a little trouble finding a lounge chair at the beach. Resort should add another row. Also we mostly went to the bar ourselves to get drinks instead of relying on the waitstaff, they tended to be sporadic in service. Drinks are very very watered down. That was a big disappointment. Our Jr Suite felt a little damp n musty at times. But, overall it was a good vacation

Overall, we had an amazing stay at the hotel. The customer service was exceptional. The restaurants we went to were pretty good, with the exception of the steakhouse, it was gross. The rooms were very clean and the views were amazing. All I'm going to say is, if you stay here...GO TO THE TOGA PARTY!! It was so much fun. I'd definitely stay at the resort again.

Great hotel. Every member of staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. The rooms are modern spacious and clean. The drinks were very good. The restaurant food was very good quality. The buffet was decent, going to the freshly cooked sections helped. Our butler Mario was really helpful and took care of various reservations for us. Highly recommend for a trip to Cancun.

Great location, staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were stunning apart from a funny smell that came when you turn AC off for a while. Loads of entertainment, the pool area is great and plenty bars. This resort could be a 5 star if the food was up to par, the service is great at the restaurants but the taste is not there. We were there for 2 weeks and after 1 week started eating out of the hotel because we couldn’t stand the food anymore. We are from UK so our taste may be different, this is also our first all inclusive holiday so maybe that is what to expect from all inclusive resorts but we were very disappointed, apart from this the hotel is amazing and we would recommend it if you’re not too bothered about eating nice authentic food.

Our vacation at Royalton Chic Cancun was phenomenal. Prior to our stay, I had read reviews that complained about the food—and I have a very different opinion. All the food I had was very good and high quality. I highly recommend the sea bass at the Asian restaurant!! This resort has a “vibe team” that facilitates different activities. Some of the activities that we enjoyed were a silent disco, Spanish lesson, water aerobics, and yoga on the beach. The gym at this resort is good, and plenty of healthy food is offered at the restaurants. Service at this resort is very good, and everyone was welcoming and friendly. This resort does have a party vibe full of energetic music and people living it up. The beach was second to none. I highly recommend getting up to watch the sunrise at least one morning—it’s beautiful!! Overall, this is one of my favorite resorts I’ve ever stayed. The only opportunity for improvement, that I noticed, was the rooms could have been cleaned a little better. They were clean enough, but it was apparent that some surfaces hadn’t been wiped down when we first arrived. I would definitely stay at this resort again. Thanks for the great memories, Royalton CHIC!!

Please be aware this is not a 5 star resort . Food is 2/5 service 2/5 the only 5/5 I would give would be the beach. Let’s start with the elevators be prepared to wait a long time for elevators and be prepared to be in an elevator with a lot of people (there was no option to take the stairs for those who don’t mind walking up 10 plus stories) . Next I will say this resort is only for diamond club members if you are thinking of going without diamond club don’t bother because you will be ask to pay more for things . When I stayed during Christmas and new years there was a day when the seats by the pool were reserved for 2 people ? 2 people reserved At least 15 chairs i got up early morning just to find out the chairs i put my towel on were reserved for them , i had to pay extra to sit by the pool . The buffet was garbage little to no options and they have the same tongs for multiple dishes . The buffet also had a really bad smell in some corners . For a 5 star resort you would expect fresh fruit daily but the fruit here was not fresh and most the days they didn’t not have pineapple . I could go all day about this resort but I’d rather not leave a book of a review just STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESORT NO WHERE NEAR WORTH THE MONEY . Thanks
