Beautiful
looking
hotel
and
resort
from
the
exterior,
but
there
were
many
things
not
so
nice
about
the
experience.
Pros:
The
location
was
perfect
if
you
were
looking
for
an
ocean-view
suite
or
non.
Both
sides
of
the
hotel
face
a
different
waterfront.
The
ocean
view
was
the
best,
and
the
rooms
were
all
properly
positioned.
The
beach
was
immaculate,
which
was
great.
Cons:
The
hotel
was
overcrowded,
and
it
was
challenging
to
experience
intimate,
relaxing
moments.
There
was
no
private
beach.
They
only
had
a
public
beach.
The
rooms
we
were
in
had
a
lot
of
issues,
with
moisture
and
dampness
causing
the
beds
and
sofa
seats
to
be
wet,
including
the
clothes
we
hung
in
the
closets.
There
was
a
musty
smell
in
the
room
and
hallways.
Also,
there
seemed
to
be
an
infestation
of
cockroaches
and
mould.
Attached
is
proof
in
case
you
don't
believe
it.
When
we
got
home,
we
had
to
wash
everything
in
our
bags
just
in
case
and
discard
our
travel
bags.
The
hotel
management
doesn't
listen
when
you
have
complaints,
and
they
did
a
terrible
job.
The
rooms
were
expensive,
and
they
charged
an
additional
resort
fee
every
night.
We
tried
to
book
a
spa
day,
and
they
refused
to
take
cash
despite
the
staff
telling
us
they
could
take
cash.
When
we
visited
the
store
on
the
resort,
they
took
cash,
which
was
confusing.
Regarding
food,
They
told
us
initially
we
didn't
need
a
reservation
to
book
dinners,
but
each
time
we
went
early
to
have
a
meal,
they
asked
us
for
a
reservation
and
then
turned
us
away.
We
only
got
to
eat
at
the
general
buffet,
which
didn't
make
sense.
People
seemed
to
be
paying
the
staff
to
get
priority
treatment,
a
form
of
a
tip
bribe
that
was
weird.
It
wasn't
as
if
the
resort
was
short-staffed,
so
the
whole
situation
was
suspect.
We
prepaid
for
our
entire
experience.
Being
a
regular
visitor
to
different
resorts
in
Mexico,
it
was
a
different
experience.
