Nice beach. A few vendors with water and fruits but little outside of this. It's a welcome break from the non stop selling in other beaches but it's too bad there isn't a shop a little closer or a cafe. If you're looking to bring your own drinks (no glass allowed) and don't want to rent a chair or be bothered, it's top pick

Bright blue water as far as the eye can see, white sand, and the warmth of the sun against your skin. What more could you ask for? This is a great beach with lots of umbrellas for public use, though be warned it gets quite busy and you’ll be fighting for a spot in the shade if you come later in the day! Also love that there are plenty of lifeguards and folks selling snacks and refreshments here.

Best beach in Cancun! Beautiful turquoise water. And thatched umbrellas. If you can manage to get one! I spent two days here during my 6 day trip. Just Lovely.

Beautiful public beach! I visited twice so far as it is a short walk from my hotel. First visit was around 1900 Tuesday evening just walking through for exercise, then Wednesday around 0700 just a short visit to nature watch. This area felt very safe, even for a woman walking alone after dark as there were many people around (most appeared to be leaving around 1900), a mix of locals and tourists (lots of families) and everyone seemed respectful of each other. In the morning there were not many people yet which was nice for enjoying sunrise and nature. There is a bus stop right by the parking lot, free public parking, restrooms, and public showers.

Welcome to Cancun guys ! This place is must to visit ! Central point of Cancun seaside! Take a selfie with I love ❤️ Cancun and watch a beautiful Caribbean Sea view and sky. Nice place to visit. Have a free parking. Have a change rooms and restrooms for visitors who want to swim. Green, sunny, full of iguanas 🦎 so watch your step and wear safe shoes 👟 always bring a bottle of water with you. Keep car closed. Keep the line to take a spectacular photo.

Lovely warm water with little seaweed but the waves are very rough so the lifeguards are blowing their whistles at people constantly. The beach is public and has quite a lot of umbrellas for shade. The famous Cancun sign is here but there is always a big line up so you may as well skip it and take pictures at one of the smaller signs farther up the road. The bus will take you here no issue but they don't like to stop to pick you up on the way back to the hotels.

Clear blue water and yellow sand. What else could you wish for. If you don't have a car or don't wanna spend money on Taxi/Uber, there's also a bus that goes there. Definitely worth a visit. Pictures will describe it better than words ever could.

Nice beach but very strong waves and too many tourists. Just walk a bit away from the crowds and enjoy more beautiful beaches nearby. Thanks to Yankee tourists now some locals are actually offering drugs and chicas (hookers) on the beach, terrible those north-Americans got to export their depraved lifestyle everywhere they go.

Busy local public beach. Free to sit under the umbrellas if there is one available. Lifeguards on duty with whistles. Waves can be pretty big with red flags posted when the wind/waves are too strong. You can walk North or South of the main beach to get away from the crowds. Great spot for pictures of the white sand and turquoise water. Well worth a visit if you want to see the beach and you only have a short time in Cancun.

Nice and clean. There are bathrooms, showers as well as a home-made kids playground. There are vendors going back and forth but I highly suggest to walk up the road to “go mart” which is like 5 min walking distance which has everything you need. The only disappointment is no matter how good the sand or water is, it gets a lot of seaweed as well.

Impressive! The Caribbean Sea was a perfect turquoise colour! Most of the beach was empty when we went due to storms, it cleared up later on and we had the time of our lives there! My favorite beach in North America!

It is an absolute paradise for beach enthusiasts. The pristine white sand stretches as far as the eye can see, complemented by the mesmerizing turquoise waters. The gentle waves create a soothing soundtrack, making it an ideal retreat for relaxation. The vibrant atmosphere, coupled with breathtaking sunsets, makes Playa Delphi an enchanting and unforgettable coastal haven. A must-visit for anyone seeking the epitome of natural beauty and tranquility.

I couldn't believe that I was seeing that sea color even with that weather full of clouds. It's stunning, it's free and it's one of the best public beaches in Cancun without a doubt. You should definitely bring your food and drinks because there's no offer, aside from a handful of beach vendors with limited offers.

Excellent and beautiful free beach. Local parking guides request tips when you park to ensure safety. Overall the beach is maintained quite well and there is a wooden playground and calisthenic park as well as bathrooms and an instagram-esque "Cancun" sign for photos. Lots of Marine iguanas around but they are shy and don't bother people.

It is one of the best public beaches in Cancún, it is a really Must if you visit the area. The beach is just beautiful is highly recommended, there are public bathrooms and showers after you go to swim in the beach. Don't miss to stop here!

This beach is one of the best in Cancun. The waves are really fun. It is easy to get to using the public bus. This is a public beach, so there is no entry fee. There are changing rooms and toilets available.

Definitely one of the best public beaches on the Mayan Riviera, the water is lazure, not too many seaweeds, if you just go 20 meters into shallow water there are almost none. There is parking space on both side of the road. It's free of charge. Life guards are available until 5 pm as well as toilets and showers. After that hours you can of course stay on the beach but without using the utilities. There are bamboo sun umbrellas along the beach, if you're lucky you'll get one of them, if you don't want to count on your luck take your own. There is no bar or restaurant nearby so take your own beverages and food or you can buy it from the sellers walking along the beach. The closest petrol station with sandwich is in proximity of 1 km to the south. Very nice place, I think one of the best outside the expensive resorts.

The best and cleanest public beach in Cancun. The beach has public sun shelters but there are also the biggest waves in Cancun. You can reach it by buses R1 or R2. There are El Rey Mayan ruins in the other side of the road

Great beach, wide stretch of sand so lots of space to set up a beach towel or something, plenty of shade umbrellas. If you have smaller kids who would like to play in the water this may not be ideal, compared to several other beaches the currents and waves were stronger. Great for those who are confident in their swimming capabilities. Bathrooms were also good and feet rinsing is available

Beautiful public beach… The water was so clean and the color 😍parking is available on the beach side or the opposite side. Restrooms are there. But you might have to carry your own toilet paper and soap. In fact I have been carrying a hand wash and wipes everywhere in Cancun because it’s possible you might not find them in sone restrooms. We spent our whole day relaxing at the beach. Some hawkers will be selling mango and coconut. We had it; was yum. (Be careful if you don’t trust your gut with that kind of food :) ) WORD OF CAUTION: waves are too rough! Hard to swim. 🥲 My friend almost got carried away by the waves. Lifeguard present and active and helpful

Where the locals go! Great ample beach with no wall of hotels blocking your view. Water was fantastic!! Note: showers and bathroom shut down at 5!! Also at 5 along the road cause of the vegetation the bugs come out so you might get bit but it's all good. I recommend just grabbing a cab from Delfines back to your hotel although there is a bus

Beautiful public beach. Plenty of parking. There are no vendors so bring drinks and snacks. Get there early to get a good spot with umbrella which are free. Bathrooms are open until 5, they are free and encourage that you tip.

Visited this beach on an evening. Its a beautiful white sand beach. Noted sargassum as expected at this time of the year. However, we were still able to get into water. The waves were pretty strong. Overall, if you wanna spend some peaceful time at a beach, would definitely recommend this one. There’s also the famous ‘cancun’ sign outside, where there’s always a line of people to click photos.

The beach is definitely beautiful and has an ample of spots for a photo shoot. Waves were a bit rough in the morning and evening and it was windy, but as a public beach it has so much to offer !

Amazing beach, almost the only one on the whole hotels zone in Cancun. It was clean and conditions were great. Parking is free, but people pretend to be a parking personal will help you and will ask for some small tips. Umbrellas are free as well. During the stay out of season we managed to find an umbrella always. Sand is clear. We had good waves for surfing. There is a serfing spot there, you can find them near the showers in the middle of the beach. Toilets are also clean, but pay attention to the working times, in the evening they are closed. Almost no sargassum during first half of the June.

wow! what a beach 🙌🏼 Good with lifeguards on the beach. The beach is incredibly beautiful, the water magical at the beginning of March. You have to be there early to get a parasol. Difficult with parking. But gets 5 stars from us.🌴☀️🙌🏼🥰

Amazing clean beach with showers and toilets. There are no shops, so make sure you take your packed lunches and drinks with you. There are guys who sell drinks on the beach but charge over the odds. They had shaded areas which were free to use, anywhere else your paying a lot of money to have that area on the beach.

Place is really beautiful and free of charge. Water colour fantastic, sand so white and soft. If you are early you can get palapa with bench and free parking place. I only missed some cafes or restaurants nearby to buy some drinks or snacks so you have to take something with you.

Top beach- very clean as no smoking or glass bottles or pets allowed. Very safe, beach guards everywhere. Limited availability to purchase drinks & food though. But it's one of the best beaches in Cancun for sure. White soft sand, no sargasso, just perfect.

The water here is lovely, clean and turquoise! The tide is gentle enough for swimming. Temperature is mild - just cool enough to be refreshing without shockingly cold when it first rushes over you. This beach is clean, with white sand, and public banos. There are no vendors hounding tourists, but this means you also must bring your own water and food. There are many public umbrellas and some benches, you might get one if you arrive early. The line to take pictures with a colorful CANCUN sign in front of the turquoise sea is always long. The public bus for the Hotel Zone stops here frequently and is 12 pesos per rider. Playa Delfines is one of the best beaches in Cancun! The only major drawback - no lockers. As a couple we took turns swimming, as it is not wise to leave valuables unattended in public, on any beach, anywhere in the world.

Beach is beautiful but there are no options for eating. Only beach with sun. Sunrise is beautiful and good thing is we can get bus from outside. It’s connected to hotel zones private beach. I think it’s overhyped. You find it strange but I like normal beach near to Isla Mujeres and before Norte beach. It has no name but it’s worth going. 6 min walk from Isla mujeres

By far the nicest beach I've seen in Cancun. The seaweed is minimal and the water is very clear. The beach is kept very clean and there are both lifeguards and police patrolling the beach regularly. There are a large number of permanent thatched sunshades dotted along the beach, but be warned they all get taken quickly.

Amazing public beach with breathtaking views of the ocean. Would recommend getting here before 11 to get a front row shaded hut. Other rows are good but a little rocky. Overall, great place to relax.

The water, the sand, the iguanas - simply amazing. There are Mayan ruins and a shop nearby, also a bus stop (R1 and R2) just there, and if you're fit enough, it's not too far to walk to the Mayan Museum along one of the most beautiful boulevards in Cancun. Love it!

Gorgeous beach with white sand and crystal clear blue water. We saw tons of iguanas and had a great time here. Unfortunately, the sargassum is pretty extreme at the moment, other beaches definitely didn’t have quite as much.

It's very easy to arrive by bus. The sand is clean. No available shower for cleaning the sand was the only minimal problem. We visited the beach in a day after a strong rain, so the waves were strong.

Playa Delfines is a long and wide stretch of beautiful white powder sand just south from the hotel zone. You won't need to come here if you're staying at one of the hotels by the beach north, as this is the same beach stretching for miles. However, even then I'd recommend doing that to mix up with locals who gather here as this is the public beach and a favorite local spot. On the other hand, for those staying at city ho(s)tels I'd strongly recommend it. You can choose your spot anywhere for free or hire sunbeds and umbrellas for a reasonable fee.
