Amazingly beautiful and very well maintained park. It’s a real pleasure walking or jogging on its trails. I sincerely recommend it.

This park is a fantastic family friendly place to bring young children. There are two playgrounds, one meant to be for younger children and one for the older. It has a wonderful rubbery walkway that is a cushion incase of falls. The park is dog friendly and has many places to walk or just sit and watch your children have fun. I have noticed a public garden that I have not investigated yet, but when I do I will come back and amend the review to include details. Highly recommend this park as a nice free place to come with your kids and have a picnic and some old fashioned out door play time.

This was a very nice park. The playground was closed due to covid. Lots to do, tennis, trails, biking, walking and running. Parking was plenty. I wish we walked a little longer but from what we got to do it was a lovely.

This park is a nice surprise. It's near Emory and a residential area but it's hidden behind a busy Clairmont road area. There is a very nice senior center nearby as well as a large parking lot. We always take our sun there to meet friends and family to play in the large green space and playground. There is a very nice covered area where you can also do some grilling if you want. I always see lots of international families from memory and other nearby areas. There are bathrooms on the premises also.

Fantastic park with fun slides for the big kids and also good playground equipment for toddlers too. There’s a few different swing sets, lots of slides, and there’s a few different picnic tables (with roofs) plus a large pavilion to host large gatherings. It’s also just down from the Dekalb Tennis Center. Additionally- this playground has bathrooms and they were clean when we visited. At the opposite end of the playground there is a series’s of PATH trails that are perfect to take a walk/jog on.

My kids and I love this beautiful, clean playground! My kids love how colorful the playground is and they also love the garden in the back. The grass is that cool fake grass so we like playing barefoot here 😜. There’s always plenty of parking and plenty of space for the kids to have fun. I love that the library is right next door so I like to make a stop there when going to this park!

My favorite place on Earth. Great for ‘me time’. Park fellows are all nice, kind, and respectful. Great walkways that are well maintained all year-round. Could be well packed during weekends. If you’re going to the park Sat/Sun, try to avoid 4-6PM to avoid the crowd.

Nice park with a walking trail that's very well maintained and easy to walk or bike on. They also have tennis courts, but I think they are part of a club so they aren't necessarily open to the public for free.

A great community park. We were visiting the area and my son got in a pick up basketball game and made friends right away. The playground is great with lots of choices for all ages. My favorite was the community garden. There was so much growing and in a few weeks they will be eating good. A couple spots were available... Wish I lived closer.

Today was a beautiful, crisp winter Wednesday afternoon. I walked to Mason Mills from my apt. DeKalb County runs this excellent park. 👌🏼 Every single thing was available and in use today. All ages of people. Little children, high school tennis players and seniors. Tai Chi was being done to melodic Asian music in the many green spaces. available . I promised myself to enjoy this paradise with gratitude 🙏.

In town gem. Best place to go even after a rain. Boardwalks all over this place. Get outside and keep your feet dry

I live in Decatur and Mason Mill Park is my kids' favorite playground. The playground has an area for smaller kids in addition to one for big kids. I've slide down the slides in the big kids playground. They are fun! I love the new artificial turf that was installed about a year ago. It keeps the area clean and also better for the kids. There are seating areas for parents around the park. We normally walk the trails after they are tired playing at the playground.

I enjoyed the scenery of this park. A beautiful stream, a main trail with several options to go on side trails, and a whole lot of greenery. If you are looking for friendly folks on your path, however, you might not find it here. The trail maps are great for offering a general idea of the main trail itself, but doesn’t tell you where you are in relation to everything else (I.e. a ‘you are here’ locator). Overall, I enjoy this park.

Nice Active Park. We went on a Sunday and there was a ton of stuff going on. There is a small child and bigger kid playground so that's good. I saw multiple tennis courts. It's also at a recreation center. I also saw a garden. Plenty of sitting area.

Well maintained, clean, lots of play options for a wide range of ages. No trees around structure though so slides get HOT.

Great local park for family and four legged friends. My only complaint is the recent group of homeless men living in the covered patio areas near the children's play ground.

Really nice park with a good size playground for young and older kids, open field, tennis courts, community garden, and entry point for an amazing set of paved and unpaved trails along South Fork Peachtree Creek. Like trails? These are stunning and have things kids and adults will love, including railfanning on the bridge above the train tracks, "ruins" of old stone buildings + modern graffiti/street art, boardwalk trail along the water (some beautiful houses along the creek also), and forest, foliage, and creek access. Ira B Melton Park is accessible from the same trail system, so some pics you see may technically be from that area. (There's also a connecting bike/running trail to Emory's campus.)

Lovely walking trails and we'll appointed park. Dog friendly paths!

Really nice park with almost every amenity from paved trails, clearly marked trails in the woods, tennis and pickle ball courts, playgrounds and baseball fields. This park sits between nice neighborhoods and seems to be heavily used and nicely maintained. The stream has some nice areas where you can sit and listen to the water flow in peaceful areas. Several bird houses are erected and birds chirp and sing throughout your walk along the trails. Plenty of parking in two or three separate areas.

Wonderful park. Natural and historical treasures lovingly preserved and curated. I used to ramble all over this area when it was wild, so scared that it might one day be over-developed. It's heartening to explore this park and see it's well taken care of. Lots of nice trails and wildlife. Will definitely be back.

My only experience with this park centers around the playgrounds and nearby pavilion, all of which is great. There are two playgrounds right next to each other: one is for toddlers and the other for older kids. They're well constructed and fun. The only thing missing is better shade coverage for parents as they watch. The pavilion is quite nice and has a decent, albeit somewhat barren patch of land next to it where people can play things or just run around. All in all, this has become our go-to playground for our son.

Nice park with tennis courts, playground, picnic tables, and a walking path. The picnic area has a sheltered area (which I assume is reserveable) as well as first come / first serve tables that aren't under the shelter. When I was there, I found a good selection of shaded picnic tables available. I really enjoyed taking a walk on their walking trail.

I took my first grade class to this park for a field trip and we had a great time. They loved the play structure and we toured the garden and took a small hike. The bathrooms were clean and easily accessible from the playground. Parking is close and there is a usable water fountain. We had lunch in the large pavilion which was clean with large picnic tables. There's not a lot of shade when it is sunny and hot out.

Great park for little ones. The only thing is that at the smaller kids playground next to the little welcome sign is a small yellow jacket nest. I tried getting a hold of someone to take care of it but no answer. It is on the metal fence. I saw two sweet kids get stung one after the other.

Such a cute park! Really great for long walks to and from the playground. Everyone seems to be really respectful of each other's space and very friendly

The park was very clean including the bathroom despite the few (2-3) homeless. The equipment has been maintained well and wasn't too hot (95 degrees) as my niece could still play. Plenty of shade and seating. Will return if In the area! I love the Mason mill community garden. Park has huge tennis courts and seemed to have a walking trail.

Lots of wonderful hiking trails perfect for a quick afternoon trip! There’s also a really cool set of play equipment for kids right near the two covered barbecue picnic shelters. Lots of tennis courts, these are pay for play (usually also need a reservation)

We were here to walk on the path, and it was nice on a hot day. There is plenty of shade, and the paths are wide enough to keep your distance from other walkers. I do think they need to do some better maintenance of the boardwalks though, as there were holes in many places that could be dangerous.

Mason Mill Park is open again! We have missed this place a lot. It's a little awkward that there is no consensus on mask wearing, but if you feel safe this is a great place to come.
