OxFit Grant Park

Gym

šŸ‘šŸ‘ I've been to quite a few Crossfit gyms in Atlanta. They all offer something different but OxFit had the missing piece to my fitness puzzle which was a community inside and outside the gym. I'm constantly motivated to show up because my day isn't complete without my #fitfam People often mention class, OxFit, Oxfit, community, great, fitness, coaches, months, membership, CrossFit,

When I first came to Oxfit, all I knew is that I needed small group training and to lose weight. Well here it is almost a year later and I am the strongest Iā€™ve ever been and lost weight. Everyone is so genuine, always there to cheer you on, and the coaches are amazing! šŸ˜ Joining was one of the best decisions of my life!

I joined Oxfit the first week in December and have not regretted it. I was already at another gym at the time and needed to amp up my workout to see better results. After the first class (which I loved) I talked to one of the owners and she gave me a month discount till my other membership ran out. We all have been to those CrossFit gyms were everyone is lifting massive weights and can be very intimidating, Oxfit is the complete opposite. The members are all levels and you can lift just the bar if that is where your fitness level is. Very supportive community! highly recommended

One of the best decisions Iā€™ve ever made was to join OxFit. The owners and trainers are so friendly and supportive, and the general atmosphere amongst the patrons is very positive. Iā€™ve made more visible progress here in one month than I made in eight months of my last and most successful attempt at long-term fitness. The trainers at OxFit have done what I previously thought was impossible - they made me enjoy getting fit.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get in shape. My experience with OxFit has been amazing these last 11 months. I'm in the best shape of my life . The class workouts can be tough but rewarding. Special shout out to the trainers (Leslie W., Chris, Carlos, Connor, Nikki and Morgan). They're always so knowledgeable and encouraging. I definitely recommend OxFit to my friends and family.

I'm so glad I joined Oxfit! I've done things that I never would have thought I'd be able to do within only a few months! As a soccer player growing up, I was looking for opportunities to get my fitness from activities within a team environment. Oxfit not only provides you with preplanned exercises for each class, but also a welcoming community where everyone will know you name (we have to, its required). It also satisfied my competitive nature by providing challenges, levels, and tracking to help benchmark your progress and compare with others. If your hesitant to join, like I was, I would say you have no need to worry. Anyone at any level will fit in at Oxfit.

Oxfit is awesome. It is a great gym for anyone regardless of level. The owners (Ant and Lauren) have established an incredibly welcoming environment so that you can not only get fit, but be part of a great community. I couldn't be happier with my own results this year!

I love Oxfit!! This gym has got me in great shape and I canā€™t recommend it enough. A lot of the standard CrossFit movements gave me injuries and I joined Oxfit because they are similar, but pursue more functional fitness, doable for everyone.

Both my wife and I love the gym. Basically cured my lower back issues, and having abs for the first time in 5 years doesnā€™t hurtā€¦

Great gym for people who like working out in groups. Expect supportive environment. Expect workouts to be based on a rotation of different stations. Workouts are scaled so can accommodate anyone.

OxFit is terrific. I have a limited skill set, and they do a great job of being inclusive and supportive of everyone there (including me). Would recommend it to anyone looking for a positive and enthusiastic gym that genuinely provides a sense of community.

Love this place. Hits the right balance between a high energy / high quality workout but with a supportive community that doesnā€™t get overly competitive with one another. Seems to be a good fit for both newbies and regulars. Low key perks that are actually super valuable: -you donā€™t have to pre register for a class, so thereā€™s no penalty if you have a last minute change of plans -you donā€™t have to pay an additional monthly fee for the workout app -free chalk (blows my mind that other gyms charge for this) -you get periodic pump up emails from the gymā€™s designated hype man Ant

I joined OxFit Moms a few months after having my first baby with the intention to lose the rest of my baby weight. Not only have I lost the weight, but Iā€™m stronger than ever. I no longer live near Grant Park but drive the extra 15 minutes because you canā€™t find this kind of camaraderie at other gyms. Itā€™s such a warm group of women helping each other become the best version of themselves.

I canā€™t recommend this place enough if you are looking for a CrossFit gym! I joined after being what I can only describe myself as a ā€œPlanet Fitness Nightcrawlerā€ for six months and prior to that someone who received a decent foundation from a year under a personal trainer and an occasional SoulCycle spin class. Yes, I was intimidated for a period of time from seeing CrossFit exhaustion horror story videos, but over time I really missed my personal trainerā€™s organized program and I was slowly getting unmotivated lifting on my own. I was also in need of a membership that was cost effective and Iā€™m not currently making the amount of wealth for what a personal trainer cost in Atlanta or in general. OXFIT SOLVED ALL THESE ISSUES OUT AND THEN GAVE ME MORE! I messaged the gym and Savannah, Lauren, and Carlos all responded back to me. There were three trainers willing to clear a solid portion of the day to assess my concerns and interest, show me the location without interrupting or imposing on a class, generate a great conversation about fitness goals, and show me financial membership transparency. Carlos was inviting and we planned to drop into a complimentary class before committing to a membership. He knew a trainer who lived near me teaching a class, Nikki, and she assured me and broke down how to get into a CrossFit class safely and how Oxfit can set a course for shreds, gains, or recomp goals. Coaches that teach other classes were taking a class along with me, and there was a really cool culture of getting to know people without this comparison. It was a great exercise of just being in the moment. The timing wasnā€™t right for signing up for membership, and Carlos offered a free drop in week to relieve any financial pressure. This gym is very helpful and I loved that they work with you. The next couple of days I got rushed by all of the coaches and Ant Oxleyā€™s family (including the dog). They all wanted me to check out their class, they all are positive and hilarious badasses, and there was just a surge of cool, earnest new friends. I honestly canā€™t tell whoā€™s my favorite, because Iā€™ve taken almost all of their classes and itā€™s true AFTER YOU TAKE ANY OF THEIR CLASSES ITā€™S YOUR FAVORITE. Itā€™s really cool that thereā€™s attention to improve your form and exercise correctly, patience for you to lock it in and push yourself, fellow members are really motivating even when it gets exhausting, and everyone is humbled and amazed that accomplishing something physically demanding CAN BE DONE. I also find the gymā€™s YouTube resource very helpful because Coach Savannah gives you a great forecast of the week and displays movements to keep in mind. I still considered myself inexperienced so itā€™s cool thereā€™s someone assigned to help me study better form and apply it when it comes up in the next class. This place works really hard to help me ā€œkeep a big pictureā€ on my fitness journey. Thereā€™s amazing, EFEECTIVE yoga recovery sessions too and theme workout nights and dinner meet-ups and ridiculous weekend socials if you want to get weird or goofy. Also S/O Caitlin and Savannah and Lauren for Paleo-Bowl! Now, three months are about done and Iā€™ve been involved in a Lift-Off where I have been amazed what my fellow new friends, coaches, and what I could lift. I posted amazing PRā€™s at every EVERY strength and endurance retest, AND IT HASNT BEEN EVEN 90 DAYS! I havenā€™t even fully tapped what this gym fully has to offer from their Ox-Fit athlete training but Iā€™m embraced as an equal and raw potential. Iā€™m really excited to see what can be accomplished by staying consistent and teachable. Oxfit Grant Park or EAV has made CrossFit an ambitious part of my life but they successfully remove all the fear I thought came with it. They really help you exist with a challenge, help you get out of any failure, and coaches get SO HYPED when you achieve. Even if you invest the base amount of membership in this gym thereā€™s a massive, energetic, hardworking, positive interest in you. Try it out if you donā€™t believe me.

Love OxFit!! I moved to Grant Park a few months back, and was looking for a safe space to work out during the pandemic. Iā€™d never tried crossfit before, but as soon as I finished my first OxFit class I knew this was the place! The gym itself is super spacious and clean. The coaches are some of the nicest people Iā€™ve ever met, and I canā€™t speak more highly of the community. Everyone makes it a point to know your name and cheer you on. Iā€™ve never felt more welcome at a gym, and I genuinely look forward to class every day.

I came from a personal trainer to OxFit a little over 2 years ago. I felt intimidated in the gym because I have never really been a heavy lifter. However, after joining OxFit, I quickly made friends in the moms' class. It is a community of people who not only encourage me to step outside my comfort zone but continue to celebrate my successes with me each time I reached a new goal. The coaches are fantastic and always willing to explain movements, help me get stronger/faster, and they are always building up the participants in the class. Fitness has always been something I "had to do," and now it's something I "want to do."

OxFit changed the game for me and my husband. After a year and a half of going to this gym we are in the best shape of our lives, have done a sprint triathlon, and built a much stronger community within our city. Itā€™s the best part of our day and I couldnā€™t ask for a more encouraging and supportive gym environment!
