I really amazed with all the good reviews of this place, this is the worse Indonesian street food for sure, all below standard, low quality rice, food taste a bit bland, bakwan udang taste below standard, FYI.... I just landing and really really hungry, usually untasty and most simple food will impress my taste bud when I am hungry, but this one not it...😁😁😁 why why why ??? And in my disappointment I go to New Plengkung for Ayam Goreng and Betutu...so much better.

2 plates of food & 2 waters for 83k ($8.30) & we enjoyed every mouthful. This is brilliant delicious fresh local cuisine, so tasty & plenty of dishes to chose from. You can’t beat the quality & the prices are amazingly low. There were plenty of local people at lunchtime when we visited which is always a good sign that the place is great. Food is of the traditional pre prepared variety & we didn’t see any menus, you just point out what you want or the ladies behind the counter were happy to recommend their best choices. We’ll be back.

After we discovered this restaurant, we went there for lunch everyday until our departure, and we were never disappointed. Friendly staff, very affordable prices and selection ala buffet style (=you tell the staff what you want and they put it on the plate for you).
