One of the best cafes in Ubud. The owner, Ryu-san, set up this cafe to introduce to the world Juria coffee, a rare type of old typica varietal only found in Flores island. He passed away in Nov 2018 but the cafe is still running thanks to his friends’ help. Do drop by and support this cafe and ask the barista about Ryu’s beautiful story while tasting some of the most unique beans Indonesia has to offer.

From the top shelf coffee, rare beans from Indonesia, to the awesome company. It also has a fantastic story and history. Do yourself a favour and go for a fantastic manual brew, iced coffee or cold drip cold brew. After a month of daily visits I can't recommend it enough. Thanks Adic!

No surprise there, one of the most knowledgeable coffee experience in town. Delicious beans, great pour over, amazing cold drip, I couldn't wait to try this place and rightfully so! Adic is a champ and will be happy to listen to your preferences to recommend the perfect beverage for you. The Juria beans were so unique and sweet but I must admit I preferred the Malabar with higher acidity and sourness and a little more intense on the flavour profile. Ended up staying there for hours talking and learning about all aspects of coffee. This is definitely a place for passionate, would recommend anytime and most importantly cannot wait to go back for another great cup!

Usually we are espresso drinkers, but Ryuchi has opened up new worlds for us. His cold brew is awesome too, but give him a chance, you will learn something and be surprised! Also, great chill out place to meet loads of interesting people from around the world.

Juria has everything: an amazing selection of speciality coffees, super friendly and knowledgeable staff, a cosy and quiet environment and the nicest people I've met in Ubud, both locals and travellers. If you wanna get involved in an interesting conversation or you just wanna enjoy a quiet time while drinking the best coffe in Ubud, this is the place to go.

All about coffee in Ubud! The Juria House is very special in Ubud. It is hidden in a super quite street. The Japanese owner has passed away couple of months before, but he left this cozy coffe bar and a dodo shop selling antique objects he brought from traveling all of the world. I went there twice, and Adic, the barista who takes care of the coffee shop made me great coffees! The best and special coffee shop I have ever visited in Ubud and hope to come back again!

In my opinion Juria House is the best place in whole Ubud for the black coffee. I spent in Ubud around 3 weeks and visited most of the well known coffee shops. When I came into Juria House i felt in love with the coffee, place and atmosphere. After this Juria was the only place where I drink coffee. It is run by young, very nice and very good english speaking barista. He took me into the world of the coffee. He was answering my all questions about what he do.
