It a small park, sandwich by two off leash dog park. At first I thought it dog friendly but was disappointed by the no pet sign. So, don't bring your dog there, our dog waited in the car for us. The path is nice and we took our jogging stroller which work excellent. The path maybe like a 15 walk. Oh and I think we found bear dropping. There are picnic tables and benches to enjoy the view.

This was a nice park and great for walking your dogs. There was an off leash dog park at the park entrance which was very nice. When you start walking towards the lake you have to put your dog back on the leash which is fine. The walk isn’t a long one so if your looking for something more you can head off into the other trails around the area which will give you more advanced trails. But overall for a nice little afternoon walk It was great and would recommend It for people just wanting to get outside and enjoy the outdoors.

Such a beautiful park! The parking lot is fairly big and just a short 2 minute walk to the park lake. The only downside is now you have to pay for parking. The lake is a decent size to walk around and there are mountain views all around. Being there at sunrise is magical!

Hands down, the best dog park in Alberta or Canada even. With mountains and forest as a backdrop, it’s absolutely the most beautiful. Pass the little forest is another field which leads to a dog pond! Super cute and scenic. Parking is for a fee now. But it’s changed from $20 flat-rate all day to hourly which is much more reasonable

What a beautiful lake. There were so many Elks in the park it was unbelievable, so magical ✨️ Don't be scared of them give them space and carry on your walk. There is paid parking available. There are restrooms located near the parking lot. It can get pretty dark at night. There are no pets allowed at Quarry Lake... but there is an off leash area zone for dogs. I'm assuming due to the wildlife near the lake. There are a few Picnic tables right near the lake with beautiful views of the moutain and surrounding space. There are life jackets located on the information board free for you to use.

This is a really good place for taking dogs for a walk, sitting by a lake on a hot day, and going for hikes. Depending on the time of year, you have to be careful for bears, though. Make noise as you walk and they usually go in the opposite direction.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful parks I’ve been to! Ample space for picnics and walking around to enjoy the lake and views. The mountains in the background were jaw dropping! Washrooms on site. Paid parking.

Beautiful place in Canmore, Alberta, not sure how it is in winter but a must to visit during the Summer. It’s you’re looking for a day trip outside Calgary, this is a place for you, have picnic in the park by the lake and just take in the breathtaking view.

Dipped in the lake for a birthday swim, and nearby walks are lovely! Do bring bear spray though!

Best place to spend time with family and friends. Beautiful mountains around lake. A lot of bbq tables. Toilet, child safety vests. Trails. Forest. Deers.

Gets busy on nice days with lots of keen SUPpers, kids and sun seekers, there are toilets nearby and enough space to not feel over crowded. The parking is $10 for 2 hours, or $75 a day which we thought was excessive so we rushed our 3h10m hike down to 2hrs to meet this deadline. Safe to say we worked up a sweat! Good motivation though

Beautiful lake in Canmore. You can spend a whole day relaxing by the lake or explore a few walking trails. There are a few picnic tables. This place is great for photoshoots. Paid parking is available. Minimum 2 hour parking is required. $10 for 2 hour parking $75 for the whole day.

We had no interest in the dog park; however, beyond the dog park, the path to Quarry Lake was beautiful. No pets are allowed beyond the park, so the lake was quiet and peaceful. The trees were turning and there were people out for a swim in the crisp lake water.

A quieter and more secluded park in Canmore. Not to say it wasnt crowded, but not Lake Louise crowded. Decent views, tons of picnic/BBQ space and even a sliver of beach.

Quarry Lake it used to be an old mining pit at one time turned into a place for picnics, swimming and besides Quarry Lake huge dog park but no dogs allowed around the lake and signs indicating where dogs are allowed to Play. Parking is not free it is $5 for 2 hours and for the day is $37 and the parking fills up fast depending on the season.

Lovely man-made lake with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. The park has toilets and many benches and picnic tables. Saw someone swimming. We hiked the Highline before we stopped here.

Nice. Too icy and slippery at this time. But great for dogs. Ice on the lake was thin so could not walk on the lake. 😐 Good fun. Paid parking and toilets available.

Great little walk for toddlers and small kids. There is a picnic area perfect to spend a day by the lake on a hot summer day. Parking is paid for but reasonable (about $5 for 2 hours)

Nice hangout place This is a beautiful lake surrounded by the open park. Perfect place for a picnic . Has a cycle path too. There is also a trail uphill to the mountains for whomever interested on a hike. There are seating areas. Suitable for any type of travellers

Best dog park to stop at when you're driving through. Only sad thing is the new cost for parking. However, it is much less busy than it was before, so that's nice. My dog absolutely loves it, especially the lake through the trees. Gorgeous views.

Beautiful Fall Views and lovely hike. The puppies had fun in the off Leash area as well. The parking is a little expensive being $20 but the memories made were worth it
