I recently visited The Bootlegger in Cardiff and had an absolutely amazing time! The live swing music was top-notch, creating a fantastic atmosphere that transported us back to a bygone era. Went there on a Thursday for the jazz night. I was actually dragged there by two friends ahaha but it was really amazing! On a chill day it's very nice, not noisy and they have really really nice drinks. 10/10

Hi guys, Came here by chance as venue looked the business, as we left the Tiny Rebel Bar. We didn't have food however, the bartender (sorry forgot your name) is a cocktails genius. Literally made the perfect 'dirty' Martini. It was a quiet point in the evening being a Tuesday evening so he got to talk to us and it was great to hear his knowledge and enjoy his work. Ironically theres a place called 'Dirty Martini' nearby whose dirty martini's were far inferior. I can only imagine how great the atmosphere is here on a Fri/Sat. Well worth a visit!

A must visit, brilliant bar in Cardiff! A great atmosphere on a Saturday evening with a fun theme and music. Bootlegger has an amazing (and huge) menu, and the 2 for £16 mix and match cockatil offer is brilliant. We had the best espresso martini we had ever tasted here, and all of our other drinks were delicious too Service was really great

Visited here on a Friday night. ( Friday 21st July). Great atmosphere. Lovely drinks and excellent customer service. Staff really go the extra mile. Thank you staff. We will definitely be back. 😊

Love visiting the bootlegger when visiting Cardiff but tonight the service was well below my expectations. Young lady behind bar served a group of guys after I informed her I was waiting to be served. Left after waiting over 5 mins.

Cam is the most friendly host and makes the best cocktails . Always have a good laugh at the bootlegger. Cocktails best in town

Really good bar with a plenty of selection of drinks. We were there at around 23:00ish on a Saturday and it wasn’t that busy which meant that we could actually talk while having drinks (showing my age now😜). Apparently they do Jazz nights as well so will have to visit then.

A bar with a great vibe and an extensive menu of cocktails. There is a lot to choose from so there really is something for everyone. The Raging Bull was my favorite of the many drinks I had when I was there and I'd recommend it to those who want something a little refreshing. Definitely a great stop for those who like cocktails.

Amazing place to have a drink, atmosphere is sleek and classy. The huge menu has plenty to choose from and the 2 for 1 menu being able to mix and match was such a great sight. The bar staff were amazing and looked after us so well, the experience made us cancel our next booking so we could stay longer! Can't recommend this place enough

Thursday night at Bootlegger in Cardiff was fantastic. Loved the chilled atmosphere and great selection of cocktails which were expertly made by Lin. The live Jazz music was incredibly good. It was a perfect place to end up for a good evening of entertainment. Joyful and so well done.

Such a great atmosphere, the staff are so lovely & really add something special. Had a bartender's choice cocktail & did not disappoint! 10/10 would recommend!! Definitely give it a go :)

We stumbled upon this gem by accident, and both really fancied a cocktail. We made a good choice to go in. The 1920s vibe was brilliant. The cocktails were absolutely delicious (we ended up trying 5 between us); I would recommend the Rum and Maple Old Fashioned. The staff were incredibly kind, and the service was just exceptional. I wish I could have tried everything off the menu; but we will be returning soon, so hopefully eventually I can.

Cracking place 👌 Best cocktails I've had in Cardiff (forget Alchemist) I had an awesome MaiThai, superb espresso martini, and the Caipiriña they made me took me right back 30 years to a churrascaria (sp?) outside Vittoria, on a truly momentous night ashore. All with pukka live music. Proper gem of a place.

Happy hour cocktails are always appreciated! I always enjoy the Maple Old Fashioned at Bootlegger.

We did a cocktail masterclass here last night and it was honestly the best we've done in Cardiff. The range of cocktails was amazing (and all absolutely delicious!) And the staff i think his name was Mitch? (But i have a very bad memory when it comes to names -sorry!) And Lee were so lovely and made it a really fun evening 😊 would 100% recommend it and will be doing so to friends 😊 the place has a great vibe and afterwards there was live jazz music which was great! A real gem of a place in Cardiff!

Bootlegger is bloody fab. It's beautiful inside with a wonderfully well thought out drinks menu. The mocktails I had were delicious and brilliantly made. The two bar men I met were absolutely lovely and made me feel so welcome. Couldn't recommend it enough!

I had an amazing night. My feet hurt from so much dancing. Awesome atmosphere. Cocktails were so professionally made and delicious. Met the new manager Leah who made us feel so welcome and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. She even helped us sort out a taxi back to our hotel! Will definitely be recommending to all my friends. 😍
