This is a very friendly pub, serving good value tasty food. I have been to a few Christmas meals events here and they have been brilliant. I visit most weeks in the back room with the Ukulele Wolves. During the lockdowns we were invited to play on the front lawns, and they even supplied us with gazebos when it rained. The safest pub I visited during the Lockdowns, well done !

Cracking pub. Would give it a 6th Star but I can’t because Google doesn’t let me. Friendly staff, great prices and top quality drinks.

Always guaranteed a good night here, great selection of drinks for a good price, welcoming staff and not to mention their karaoke nights. Only problem is that it’s not closer to where I live!

A sadly quite pub for a Saturday evening. I came here with a local friend for a hour or two. They have pool, darts, skittles, a juke box, sports on the TV and a good selection of drinks on tap. The place was really quiet, but so very friendly. I've been told that Sunday lunch is brilliant, and hope to test that out shortly.

This pub is fantastic. Such a family friendly pub. With entertainment on Saturday nights and open mic last Friday of the month. Some people you talk to are still dubious about coming in here down to the reputation of the pub. But i can honestly say since angie and sharon have run it there is no trouble at all. They are exactly what the pub needed. I definitely recommend coming here. The food is fantastic and everyone is so welcoming. Go on give it a try xx

I have been a regular here for years and despite leaving the area always come back here for their stunning Sunday dinners and fun Saturday nights. Food and drinks are fantastic and a fab price for the quality you receive. The decorations for Christmas and Halloween etc are phenomenal. A pub that is passionate about its customers is hard to find. Highly recommend. Long live the wolfscastle!

A proper community family run for family pub. The two current Landlady's have done an amazing job to create a community hub. They care about their customers and community. They have supported so many people inthe community that have needed help. When a child went missing they couldn't do enough to help and support the family until after the child was found. This is truly a community pub with great food. And outsiders are always treated as family.

I had a really good experience with this pub. The karaoke and bingo events were spectacular and were pretty much entertaining. 100% would go again.

Staff are working so hard keeping everyone safe, and making sure they and their customers are sticking to the rules/Welsh laws. We want our pubs to stay open so we all have to stick to the rules even if we hate them. And amazing food!!

Angie and Sharon are wonderful, so welcoming and obliging. Food is great, lovely Sunday roast and bar meals...lasagne one of our favourites! They have regular entertainment and disco/karaoke nights. The lounge is an excellent venue for private parties, be it children's party or adult celebration. Pop in for a drink and something to eat. You will not be disappointed!

A very friendly pub. Always willing to let us hold charity events to raise money for the local children's hospital. I've held skittles nights in there and everybody has commented on how good the food is. Very supportive of the local football club as well by allowing the committee to have meetings, registration evenings and most importantly they support by allowing the teams back after games to enjoy sausage and chips. They hold a weekly quiz night which is always full and very well organised. Finally they always have great entertainment with open mic nights and regular artists. Thank you for so many wonderful experiences

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
