We went to see Kiefer Sutherland recently. Gig was good, and I had a fantastic view however due to where we were stood (side near door), the sound wasn’t great. Couldn’t make out what was being said by the support act or Kiefer, but still enjoyed. Staff friendly too at the venue. Crowd were friendly -hope the lady we chatted with before the gig, who flew all the way from Boston to be there enjoyed! We managed to get there early and were able to park in the side street next to venue where it is pay and display (although only until 6pm), so was easy to leave after gig. Also side note-nothing to do with Tramshed personally- Why do people insist on getting stupidly drunk, not actually watch the band they paid to see, just talk all the way through and repeatedly barge in and out of the crowd? So damn annoying- go to the pub and leave the fans to enjoy instead.

We hired Tramshed for our wedding party and I could not recommend them enough - an absolutely fantastic venue trumped only by the quality of their staff. Communication was swift and clear beforehand and nothing was too much trouble for them on the night. If you're looking for a central location in Cardiff to host a private event of between 100 and 250, you need look no further.

Excellent venue. I would recommend getting there early as it's a small stage and limited visibility if you are at the back. Highly recommended going upstairs. Great view of the stage without the hustle of the crowd.

I came here for my first ever gig. I had a little difficulty finding parking on a busy Saturday night but eventually got a space at Cardiff central railway station on dusk till dawn reduced price parking. The Tramshed was an easy ten minute walk. The venue is very well run with good security and a cloakroom which costs £2. The facilities are good. I had a fantastic evening arriving at 9pm and leaving at 1.30 am. I recommend this place whatever the event. Thumbs up from me. 😀

Went to the Vegan festival here and it was a great venue! The atmosphere was good and big enough for plenty different stalls, including hot food. Outdoor seating area was great too

Parking here is difficult but there are places within walking distance. Accessibility area available and a great space for gigs. Prices not too bad but limited on choices for drinks.Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here.

Great venue in the best city in the world... Went to see Inspiral Carpets there at the weekend and they were incredible.

Amazing venue. Was there tonight for Dope Lemon gig which proved to be a fantastic show. Everything about venue was first class. Plenty of close by parking free after 6pm. Well laid out. Staff were tremendous... 3 of us over 65s Dope Lemon fans went. My friend has difficulty standing for long and walks with a stick ... The staff said no problem and gave all 3 of us access to a seated area upstairs with incredible face to stage view. They really couldn't do enough for us. 1 security guy escorted my friend up and down in lift. Showed us where Loos were. Bar staff super friendly. Have never experienced such outstanding customer service at any gig at any venue. They really were going above and beyond checking everything was good for us and if we needed anything to just say. Praise were it's due, and high praise is much deserved here i've never had service like that in 50+ years of concert going. Looking forward to attending more gigs here. 100% recommended. . and if management and staff happen read this know that you collectively along with a great band made our night. Thank you to you all.

Proper music venue. Sticky carpets. Slight smell of funny fags. Balcony gives a great view of the acts. Saw Shed Seven tonight and they were bloody excellent. Venue is easy to get to from main routes into Cardiff. Lots of parking in nearby streets. Smashing.

Amazing sound quality, no distortion and you can clearly see the stage no matter where you stand. *I'm not that tall but was happy where I stood*

Great small live music venue that holds around 1000 people. Several music events every month. There is a viewing balcony which gives pre booked priority to people that require access arrangements. Very reasonably priced bar with decent beers.

A great place for a smaller concert. We went to see Theory of a Deadman and there was ample room, a bar and a balcony to get a better view from. Parking is easy there’s plenty of surrounding streets and we parked there for free. Easy to find and accessible for wheelchair users.

Tramshed is an iconic venue in Cardiff, hosting a wide range of events with all sorts of music performances taking place! I have even had a work evening here where our company rented out the venue. The venue is of a decent size, I have never felt like it was overcrowded. It has a bar near the stage with a good selection of drinks along with large toilet facilities. The sound here is also quite good, the venue seems to be well equipped acoustically.

Excellent venue, not too big like some places. Drinks are pricey, but then they are where ever you go these days. Would have been 5 stars but the owners need to teach certain bar staff that a spirit measure is filled to the top, not 5mm below.... or maybe that's what they are trained to do....

Great smaller venue than with lot of atmosphere when band starts not like large venues. Get up close and personal with bands with great sound. Easy to get into and out off my preferred choice to watch live bands if only lot more would play here. Yes drinks are a bit pricey but suppose this is what keeps it going so worth it in end.

DJing here is absolute goals! A really cool and alternative venue for a wedding! If you like your sound system punchy and your lighting to be like at creamfields, then definitely consider having your evening reception here!

A nice close entertainment venue. Staff were polite and professional and, altough mostly standing venue, they put out some seats for those who let them know prior. Drinks prices were very reasonable for this type of venue too.

We went to a conference there. There was aircon, which just coped with open doors on a very hot day. Decor is for a music venue, so back and black. The stage lighting illuminated the audience resulting a lot of glare. The PA was clear with radio mics through a comprehensive Soundcraft desk. There's a decent range of beer and cider and the Mad Hatters caterers put on an OK buffet. The toilets were clean and there was a flat run for wheelchairs

Small-ish and intimate venue with good sound quality. Lighting and stage hands were spot on for the act I seen. There's also balcony seating, and wait time at the bar wasn't too long, met with friendly bar staff.

I fully understand the regulations with the COVID rules about having a COVID PASS. But after an hour of finally getting in and went to purchase a drink and it was only card this was not explained on the website I have done one tour in Iraq and two tour's in Afghanistan I've never had so much trouble getting into the tramshed and getting served

Awesome venue. We'll set out and really good staff. Attended a concert here on Thursday. Facilities were great, cloakroom upstairs, clean toilets and plenty of staff working on the bar meaning there was no queuing time.

Great venue for live music, well managed and tidy. There is a useful upstairs area which is often much quieter and is a helpful place for those in wheelchairs or with mobility problems to be able to see the shows. Nice amount of space outside too.

Recently went to see Twin Atlantic with standard tickets. Loved the venue and drinks were reasonable. Some good choice of alcohol free beers too which was a great surprise. Acoustics were great and the staff were friendly and bar staff worked very hard to quench the thirst of revelers. Easy parking access along side streets with little restriction and very little traffic pre or post show.

A cracking small sized venue with good acoustics for live music. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. I would recommend the Tramshed as a good venue for live music.

Great venue with good range of booze and lovely bar staff. The security staff are without doubt the best in any cardiff venue.

👍👍 Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
