Simon and Oscar. A band everyone knows as Ocean Colour Scene. They neither turned up (As OCS or S&O) not appreciated the crowd. They abused the crowd for talking and stormed off early. The definition of a band who are β€˜has beens’ even though their fans turned up. What an absolute disappointment and upset. Retire with grace, not what you just did you absolute has beens. #OceanColourScene

Went to see Menace...GBH and the mighty UK SUBS.... All 3 bands were fantastic and on fire, the atmosphere was electric. Staff were kind and curtious and the bar staff worked thier butts off.... All in all it was a great night out at the Globe... Caerdydd/ Cardiff.

It needs a make-over! It smelt very musky and like cat wee it felt and looked dirty everywhere you looked the toilets included. The seats and chairs we're disgusting and stained and uncomfortable and very very warn out. I don't think it's been changed since the 80s in every way. The band Beans on Toast were amazing, but I wouldn't go back there to see anyone else that's for sure, and also, it being a cashless business is very sad and annoying tbh. You can get free furniture on Gumtree or Freecycle in much better condition that could easily replace the old, uncomfortable smelly furniture there. It was really disgusting, and I've never seen a place so run-down in the entertainment sector there's no need for it these days. It's a shame it's been allowed to get that bad.

Great Venue for bands not too big, always have a great time here. Prices good. Saw Helps Bells last night, a good tribute band, excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Great venue for live music. However, the security was awful, they stood right in the middle of the crowd blocking people and grabbing anyone who was in a mosh pit or crowd surfing.

Great venue, intimate with a balcony which is cool. Only downside is very expensive drinks! Β£14 for 2x double vodkas. Ouch

For a pub/gig venue, good acoustics and intimate. Not a bad view to be had. Enjoyed and recommended.

Lovely place. Small and friendly but with great acts. Gets a bit packed and hot but such a good atmosphere you don't mind 😊

What a great venue for live music. Small, intimate, and boss. From the outside, you don't expect much but when you go in, you realise it's a perfect venue for a gig. Drinks weren't too expensive and there's a decent selection there. First time going there and already can't wait to back. Will be keeping an eye on the schedule.

Music was great (Big Mac's wholly soul band) but lack of Air Conditioning made the venue a very hot and sticky place!

A little gem of a live music venue on Albany Road in Cardiff. It's a compact space in a former cinema, standing and bar downstairs, small balcony with chairs and a few tables upstairs. Great view from everywhere. Door staff very friendly.

Friendly staff , great view from balcony , but so cosy u can see the band well from just about anywhere. Nice lighting, good sound ..we saw Uli Jon Roth here, who was fabulous.

It's quite a small place and can get a bit crowded for busy gigs. Very hot in there in summer too as no aircon. But you can get close to the stage and they have some great acts and tribute bands. Some are expensive for what they are though. It's much better now they have proper draught drinks instead of cans, not a great selection though, and not cheap! Brookland IPA is the only ale available but it's good.

Went to watch Smash into Pieces and Cyan Kicks, loved the atmosphere and brilliant performance

The venue is very run down, grotty, and dirty stinking toilets, awful bar service, and cheap beer, at expensive prices. Such a pity because the musical acts are always good. Plus they should take cash, it's a discrimination to those who can't have bank accounts, or elderly who are happy using cash.

Great music venue, perfect for intimate experience or live music. Went to watch Frank Iero and the patience there, also got stunned by the amazing support acts particularly homeless gospel choir. The sound was incredible in this small setting and I loved the balcony view with the small bar :)

Saw Maniacs and Sterioironics which was great. Well organised for covid restrictions and drinks relatively cheap.

Very rough and ready live music club that values volume over sound quality. About half the stages taken up by huge speakers which means you can't see the band playing. If you could mount the PA system on the walls and get a sound tech who understands that louder isn't always better and it could be a half decent venue. My only other complaint is the price of the drinks, especially when you bear in mind that you're served in plastic cups.

Really enjoyed this venue. Friendly staff on the door, friendly bar staff too. OK not the greatest of selection of non alcoholic drinks but a great venue, ideal for gigs and lively seating area upstairs with ideal good views of the stage. We'll done team globe I'd definitely return
