My daughter had her ears pierced here! Courtney was brilliant with her, she kept her calm by speaking to her and explaining everything she was doing. I’d 100% recommend anyone looking to get a piercing to go here.

My 12 year old had her ears pierced - all the staff were so lovely especially the piercer who patiently answered her long list of written out questions. Clean, well organised and helpful - would recommend!

I came for a walk in piercing appointment yesterday. I didn't have to wait long at all for my appointment. I wanted 3 lobe piercings on each side, but I was advised to only get 2 on each side this time as it wouldn't be a good idea to get 6 piercings in a single session. This made me feel like they actually care for customers' wellbeing more than money. The staff were all friendly and the piercer, Bronnie, was great. She was as gentle as possible, and made sure to ask how I was doing after each piercing and whether I was ready for the next one. She was also very careful to make sure the piercings were symmetrical on both sides, which I was very grateful for as I'm a perfectionist!

My first piercing from here was fine and a reasonable price, but my following two visits were terrible. About a year ago I had my septum pierced, but they pierced it in the wrong place and didn't use the jewelry I asked for. I went back in a month later to check if it was okay, as I suspected it was in the wrong place, and the woman (different to my original piercer) said that it was my fault and told me to leave. It was a horrible experience and I literally get panic attacks going near the store now. The septum also fell out on my second month of having it, even though I hadn't touched it, so the jewelry clearly wasn't good quality or they hadn't screwed it on enough.

Got my piercing changed here today and what a great experience! Served by Courtney and piercing changed by Booker and they were both super friendly and very helpful. I've never got a piercing done here before but this will now be the place I go to for my future ones. Also the place was very clean and smelled lovely. Best experience of a piercing parlour for me to date and I've been to a few.

Considering how busy they are, they're all super lovely and if you get there early enough you don't have to wait long in the grand scheme of things. Very knowledgeable and take the time to get everything right. They use needles instead of guns, which is the main reason I went here. Would definitely recommend and I plan to return myself.

I went to Blue Banana last year in November with my boyfriend to get a helix piercing for myself. I was very nervous because I already knew that this piercing is one of the more painful ones. The male piercer really put me at ease and made me feel very welcome. He was very professional and the piercing process was over within seconds. I went for my first piercing at Blue Banana in Cadiff the other day and it went great! I called ahead at half 4 to see if they were busy and they said that thay were fully booked for piercings but said if I could make it in 10mins, they would fit me in which was amazing. So I went in and the staff were superb, they showed me the piercings that were available and were extremely helpful. I told them I wanted an industrial piercing and wanted a scaffold bar through the top of my ear. She took me into the srudio and marked up my ear ready for piercing. She took her time and shared her thoughts with what angle I should have the piercing re doing the marks until it was perfect. She carried out rhe piercing with ease but my god did it hurt. I'm so happy with my piercing and can not recommend Blue Banana in Cardiff enough. I will be bringing my daughter here to get her ears done for sure. Fantastic service. Thank you so much.

Nice and clean piercing room, Booker was outstanding and I felt very at ease getting my piercings done here. They made sure I was comfortable at all times and it’s clear that they value the guest experience. Will definitely be coming here again for my next ones!

I’ve had many piercings from Blue Banana in the past and it’s the only place I trust so I made the journey all the way from London to Cardiff to visit this store. The lady at the front desk was really helpful with her advice on jewellery sizing and Booger did a fantastic job of changing 4 hoops in my helix and lobes. I felt so comfortable with his knowledge and professionalism that I decided to get another pair of lobe piercings. All my jewellery matches and looks brand new again!

I came in yesterday with my son to buy his first pair of New Rock Boots. Joel served us and couldn't have been more helpful. He was fantastic and gave my son such a good experience. I went in yesterday to get my ear piercing changed over and every single staff member in there was lovely! I find you don't get the best customer service these days so I just had to leave a review. A really positive experience for something very simple.

Great piercers, managed to get me in on the same day I inquired, even had a BOGOF deal! Staff were friendly and helpful, my piercer booker was caring and put me at ease with some well placed humour. Will definitely go again and would recommend to others.

Piercing is professional and good quality but they definitely need to introduce an appointment system the wait was sooooo long and it was walk ins only so took a huge chunk out of our day shopping. They said they would text when ready for us so we could leave and return. Gave an estimate of about 20 to 30 mins to receive the text. 1hour later no text so popped back and was then told to wait and still sat there for over half hour.

had my belly pierced this morning by morgan and she was honestly the nicest person ever. she was so easy and made me feel so calm. she was funny and really made me feel at ease. she made me and my mum laugh and spoke to me throughout the whole process

I was pierced today by Bronnie and they were absolutely incredible! The first two members of staff who served me took so much care into making sure I had the correct anatomy for my piercing and gave me the best customer experience! The actual piercing was the smoothest piercing experience i’ve ever had and I simply could not be happier!

Great stuff but not very size inclusive, the staff are great and the jewelry/hairdye is all amazing though and cool clothes if they have your size

Really good experience, went in to get a piercing as a walk-in. They were able to accommodate me within an hour and I just had to come back to the shop when I got a text. I only waited about 5 minutes when I came back and the piercer was very professional and explained everything. The whole experience was very good and great value for money.

I was served by the loveliest woman today when purchasing hair colour. It was my first time visiting a Blue Banana shop (even though I've been buying from them online since I was a young teenager) and it was great! Very helpful and patient with a very nervous daughter who was determined to get her piercing. She loves it. Great selection as well. I wanted my tongue done too but she wasn't very confident in doing it as I have a scar from a previous piercing and it looked odd. Glad she didn't just jump in to do it for the money and it went wrong.

Had my piercing with booker today. 11/10/22. He was such a lovely person. Made me feel at ease before entering, during and the end of the piercing. Explaining everything that was going on. Asked if I was okay after my first piercing. Given me great after care advice. I originally have my ears done at the Swansea store. But had the best care at the cardiff store. Thank you guys. OH MY DAYS... This shop is literally the best shop. I have ever been to.. The clothes are awesome... Sooooo many cool alternative clothing.. I could have bought the whole shop.. Loved it there.. Also my daughter who is now getting into alternative stuff loved it too.. Some stuff is a bit pricey.. BUT in saying that.. Its good brands.. Hell bunny etc... So it's to be expected... Can't Rate this shop highly enough.. The bag sale was awesome.. And picked up 2 bags for £3each..

Whoever works at the back of the shop doing piercings needs a raise! They went above and beyond helping me find the right piecing. Honestly was surprised and felt more knowledgeable then when I walked in!

First ear lobe piercing last week and it was amazing. All the staff were kind and the person that pierced my ears was so kind and made sure my piercing was even and explained everything and it barely hurt. I'm Definitely coming back to get other ear piercings and my nose done and I would definitely recommend coming.

I had my Daith done and previously my tragus, nose and helix, they are honestly soo helpful and amazing the lady who done mine was really nice and helpful and it actually didn't hurt felt more like pressure and I didn't have to wait long.

Treated myself to a Ouija board jacket and on recommendation to go a size lower before I even tried it on I was pointed to the perfect fit! Been wearing it every day since and didn't even break the bank doing so! All around lovely people working there who are more than happy to help all that walk through the door

Very friendly and helpful staff. Pleased with hygiene procedures and ear piercing is healing well. Would have liked a better selection of earrings to choose from but price was good for the piercing.

Bought my daughters prom dress. Good choice of dresses for alternative fashion. Quiet in the store. Changing rooms not staffed. There is a NO RETURNS policy on dresses so make sure you try it on in the store.

I was extremely nervous and she put my mind at ease, telling me exactly what to expect and it was all over in a jiffy! Very, very unwelcoming staff, dirty store interior. Would not trust their needles based on staff themselves looking and smelling like each needs a good shower. Ended up going to a clean tattoo parlour.

Got snake bites done here through walk in. Service and communication was amazing. Procedure was wonderfully done. Excellent experience all around. Will be using them again for future piercings.

I've had many piercings done here, and all the piercers I've had have been extremely professional and calming. Got my first cartilage piercing today and was very nervous, but Alias was great at putting me at ease and making me feel comfortable throughout. The colleagues doing the booking were also extremely helpful and understanding about me not having a local phone number and were able to help me to sort out a way to get pierced regardless.

Went there for to buy a replacement for my fresh piercing I had at a different place and the guy behind the counter was super helpful and gave great advice for me to get a smaller bit of jewellery (online as they don't sell the particular size). Followed his recommendations and its not much more comfortable. Lovely staff.

Yesterday, I had my ear pierced by I believe Booker? A lovely individual whom made the experience less nerve wracking. Easy to talk to and very understanding of being nervous. The process of the piercing was quick and and the piercer spoke to me throughout and explained what was happening and when. Overall, all the staff that I spoke to was so lovely and friendly and the piercer was absolutely amazing. So glad about my piercing. Thank you all.
