Fort San Sebastián del Pastelillo was a military fortress that was built in colonial times in Cartagena. Its name is given because its shape resembles a pastry. It is located outside the historic center. It was a place that was built to protect the city from attacks by pirate ships. It has 31 cannons. It's a small place and there weren't many visitors when we went (it's not one of the most famous spots). We were lucky to visit this place because the taxi driver, Mr. Dimas, who was also our guide that day, passed through several key places, and this was one of them. We were on our way to Convento de la Popa. I thought the view of the Marina was charming, and of a part of the city with buildings, it made for beautiful photos. It's a quick visit that takes 20 minutes at most. Basically it's a stop on the way to explore and take photos. You can get inside with the car. It's super sunny with no shady place. There was no admission fee. There is a café restaurant next door.

A nice place, from there you can see the bay of Cartagena very well, there are walls and replicas of cannons, there is parking and a bar/cafeteria and probably a restaurant, but the day I went and in the morning there was still no service.

It's not a very famous tourist spot, and we know it because the taxi driver we hired to take a tour ended up taking us there, it's a very peaceful and calm environment, and despite being a military strongman, it has a very calm vibe. There is a restaurant right next door and you don't need to spend more than 20 minutes there to see it. It's worth a visit, especially on this tour with taxi drivers.

Made reservations 2 weeks ago for dinner. We arrived in Cartagena on Wednesday, reservation was for Thursday night at 7:30. Received an email Thursday afternoon that the reservation was cancelled and they could not accommodate us. Thanks for the 3 hour warning. So wrong any way you look at it. With all the great food in Cartagena… skip this one.

Emblematic place. I’ve been going since I was a kid. The ambiance and the location are second to none. The food is good with dishes better than others (cazuela de mariscos is the best). I give a 4 stars instead of a 5 because my dish the last time we went, yesterday was below the standard I expected, but the other dishes from my groups were all superb. The staff is friendly and professional. The prices are reasonable and what you can expect in such a restaurant. All in all, it’s an experience not to miss when coming to Cartagena.

Food was ok. Service was terrible. Over 4 hours for a meal. Not worth the time.
